I've been here several times before for pedicures and have sent many people here for their nails. Self-care is important and so it's nice that the workers and their clients don't make it weird because I'm a guy in there. Had an appointment for 530pm on a Wednesday. Wasn't a busy day. They had 4 people in there. I didn't get served until about 10 minutes after 6pm which I thought was unacceptable. Usually they get to me within 15 minutes. Regardless, it's a 3 star place. Conversation is pretty basic with them. They do make it a point to remind me everytime I go in that my cuticles are grown out and that I need to stop in more than every 2-3 months. So that doesn't make me feel great, however, the Spa Pedicure I get is pretty cheap, and they be putting in real good work. So it sorta balances each other out. Prices for some of the more deluxe packages seems to be a bit higher than I've seen in other places. The place is always clean, music always playing, and has a nice solid energy to it. Parking is good. It's located in a plaza but there's always spots available.

I have never experienced such bad customer service from any nail spas like I did from this place. First of all to the blonde hair nail tech at second nail station you need better training. You DO NOT treat customers/clients like you own the establishment yourself when you are just an employee. I had booked my daughter graduation pedicure online and received the text message. From there I clicked it then appointment was confirmed. Got to the pedicure appointment 5-10 min early mind you it was busy. Signed in on their little sign- in electronic device which took us in. If our appointment was never confirmed as she stated it would have not allowed us to sign-in as confirmed appointment. I didn't have a problem until the employee with the blonde hair (2nd desk). Asked if I can show her the text which I didn't have a problem with and did. Then I also showed her the text which stated my appointment was confirmed. Right when I was about to leave she had the audacity to say under her breath "attitude". So, yes I turned around and said yes attitude... then proceeded to tell me that I don't know how to read. When I'm clearly showing you in your face both of the text messages I received. This employee needs to have better customer service training you DO NOT treat customers in such a way. I have seen salons overbook appointments and can't handle the pressure from it. If that's what happened this day that's on them because I had scheduled my daughter appointment & I posted pictures to prove it. This employee does need better training because non of the other employees had anything to say. They know when they are in the wrong but the blonde one just kept at it under her breath. There was no need for her to have said anything at all once she seen my daughters & I about to leave. Very very unprofessional establishment especially right in front of other customers. To the owner of this establishment I suggest better training because I am not the first one to put a complaint. Please ladies I suggest you take your business elsewhere this is not a welcoming establishment. You will be better off going to spend your hard earned money elsewhere. Where they will treat you better as well and more welcoming environment.
This manicure cost $96. NINTEY SIX DOLLARS !???? Both had a missing nail within 5 days of having them on. I don't do construction or am clanking my nails against a board. So why does the quality not justify the price?! I'm sorry but I just don't get it. I'm barely on Rosy Tips yelp page and it says that gratuity is included ? I'm happy my nail tech didn't communicate that with me. It was hard to communicate with her at all! Let's go back to the day I got these done. I'm gonna be nice and not say the nail techs name but she wasn't warm, welcoming or friendly AT ALL. Like I legit had to warm her up to me !!!!! I basically did 1/2 her job . When she was finally being a little verbal with me I communicated that I got builder gel last time because a nail tech had previously told me that they last longer. I had communicated to her that I was a licensed esthetician and I wash my hands a lot so I need something sturdy. She proceeded to tell me that builder gel is more flexible and proceeded to just put builder gel on while telling me that acrylics tend to be stronger. So why not put the acrylics then? It's a back and forth of communication and she just wasn't wanting to do any of that so she just proceeded. On their website it shows builder set $55 $10 for a fill and then charges me $86 (+ $10 cash tip) ? I got no designs nothing to intricate here. Also if tip is included why am I paying extra like whyyyyyyyy? I'm going to stick to my go to place of 10 years that would have charged me $60 (with tip) for this but better work. This place is all hype. The owner is hella nice and cool tho. Her nail techs not so much. This was the second time I went there too. Disappointed

I love how they do nails! The place is clean , very cute & super accommodating. My nails last much longer than 3 weeks fr fr. They can do literally any design you ask. Lin did my nails first & I love how she does em but honestly all the girls there do an amazing job. I'm def not going anywhere else
This is my 4th trip going to Rosy's Tips Nails & Spa! I wanted to try their structure nail service & haven't changed it up since then. I always wanted the length without the acrylic and I finally got that! Structure nail is a builder gel than enhances and creates strength on your natural nail. Go check them out & ask for Linh she's my go to girl! Everyone is super friendly & love that it's always so clean.
This is a really nice and clean nail salon. You can call to make an appointment, which I highly recommend. The prices on their website are up to date and accurate. My appointment started on time. I worked with Lynn. She asked me what I wanted and checked in with me along the way. I chose builder gel on my natural nail, no length added and I showed her the design I wanted. My finished nails look great and it's exactly what I wanted. My total was originally $80, but first time clients get a 15% discount per their website. She honored that and my total came down to $68. I'll be back soon for a fill for sure.
I enjoy my services every time I come to Rosy Tips. My mom and I both got full set services, they came out so cute! The energy is nice and inviting, staff is friendly, engaging and they do their best. I don't feel rushed when I'm in the chair, conversations are always fun, 10/10 recommend!

After I got seated nail tech said I We might not have the same acrylic color, she thought she had a match but it was not the color, and didn't make the effort to find a better match. I had to ask her to file around the cuticle 2 time's. overall I had a bad experience had to pay for a service that was not good. I had hear how bad the tech nail day was, I was so mad that I ask the other nail tech take off the the set and refuse and she do a full color in top to cover the mess. so disappointed of their lack of professionalism.
Such great service at Rosy Tips Nails & Spa! All of the ladies are really nice, very welcoming and super fun to talk to. Riley did my nails this last time I went in and I LOVE THEM! I can't stop looking at them haha. She did an amazing job. I showed her an inspirational photo of what I wanted just in a different color as to what I chose and she got it on point! I can tell all the ladies are very talented so I highly recommend this nail salon!

If you're looking for the best nail salon in the South Bay, this is it. Lin is seriously one of a kind. She's patient, detail-oriented, and insanely talented when it comes to nail art. Whether you want something simple and clean or bold and creative, she delivers every single time. Since I started going to her, my natural nails have become so strong that I don't even need tips anymore. I just get an acrylic overlay, and they look flawless. And if Lin isn't available, book with DeDe without hesitation. She's just as talented, professional, and easy to talk to. The vibe here is always welcoming, and the conversations are just as good as the nails. What really makes this place special is how much they genuinely care about their clients. They don't treat you like just another appointment, they build real relationships and make you feel valued every time you walk in. I just visited this place today, based on the past reviews and well the convince. When I first walked it was quiet, only 2 Clients inside. the staff greeted me and sat me quickly to a pedicure chair. I waited for about 20 mins for girl to become available. Very quick pedicure, basically didn't ask me anything and lasted less than 30 mins. Nothing regarding about shape, if I liked the color, nothing. I tried to do small talk but didn't engage staff. $15 for gel plus $28 basic pedicure. This is insane!!!! I guess getting your nails this days are not for the poor. But what triggered me was the other lady doing nails speaking about how some customers complain about the prices and rudely done son right in front of another client who if I'm being honest was NOT going to pay $80+ for basic ped/manicure. I didn't get gel on my hands and girl! They will stare at you as if you are out of your mind, definitely won't be returning as their lack of engagement and well pricing is not for me. Service was absolutely horrendous. When I let them know they did a bad job they were combative and said they did a good job. See the picture and judge for yourself. I booked a structured manicure, as soon as I arrived they said they didn't have time to do it. What is the point of scheduling an appointment and specific services? read more
I hate to leave a bad review cause all the girls were so nice but honestly these are the worst nails I've ever had. I get French tips all the time and have never not had a base coat put on before applying the design. You can literally see the bubbles and the gel and it just looks terrible. When i said something to the nail tech about the bubbles and how i always had a base coat, she adds it to my thumb and none of my other fingers. I can't believe she really let me leave with this set looking so horrible. I'm pretty sure it was the owner who was doing the design too. I was excited to try this place out cause they look so good on Instagram but i just felt like my service was rushed. read more

I've lived in San Diego all my life! And man oh man! I think I finally found my nail salon. It was my first time here and everything was so esthetically pleasing. I was offered water right when I sat down and the nail techs were honestly amazing and soooo fast! I got my normal white toes and i wanted to try something different with my full set! This is a hidden gem of Chula Vista. Today was my second visit with acrylics and both sets have been phenomenal the structure is found the shape is perfect I had no breakage lifting or cracks over the weeks between my services. Very large color selection and the staff is wonderful about making sure it's exactly what you want. Today was their grand opening under new management and the location is beautifully redone and clean. Look! Let's get into this nail salon! First & foremost I'm going to gatekeep my girls! Sorry but ya know how it goes. However!! When I say delivered.. HONEY! DELIVERED! I am extremely particular in the foundation of my nails. I have my manicuring license & been doing them for over 10years.. with that being said, she laid, slayed & put her entire foot into these! Nobody is allowed to touch my hands but my girls here at Rosy Tips. On a whim decided to go a deep French tip & I explained what I wanted & my girl chuckled & showed me that THIS is what she does! So when I say babygirl executed & shut my ass up! That's what she did! I still could kiss her for how flawless these came out! NOW! My toes! Child when I say I looked like I stomp the yard outside barefoot after I kicked rocks! After she got her hands on me!!!! Heels!? SMOOTH! Calluses!? GONE! My toes ready to be in my man's mouth! This place used to be good and was relaxing. Not sure if it's been under new management in the past year or so. But now the vibe feels off. The few times I've gone I've felt uncomfortable because the nail techs like to talk bad about customers just as they are about to come in. Just feels super gossipy in there now and not a place to unwind and relax. I feel like they overbook and rush through appointments just to accommodate. My last few times I've been my nails came out just ok. Time to find another nail place. read more

When I first discovered this nail salon, it was run by Vee or Vy & I honestly came because I liked the men who did the pedicures. I enjoyed a deeper massage. It is now a different owner & I'm unsure of her name but she does amazing nails herself, I think she was the one who did my purple butterfly nails. The other 2 photos are by Rocio. I had my nails done once by Deedee & they popped off in a week. They were not my favorite nails anyways. The reason I give this place 2 stars now is because the salon is not what it used to be anymore. I used to come here to relax & I'd go religiously monthly but now I come every 2 months because I'm actually anxious to go. The most recent & unfortunately last time I'll be there, I got this blue set of nails (photo included) by Rocio. I also had a pedicure done by Alexia who actually made my toe bleed the last time I got her, I was nervous to be with her but this time, it all went well except she did not communicate I was going to be charged $18 for gel removal. I had always gotten pedicures there & not once was I charged for a gel removal. I actually had requested for no color this time because I wanted to spend less. I was paying for everything together and she communicated with Deedee about why my pedicure was so much but did not communicate with me, I'm just overhearing. I'm not one to make a scene anywhere so I respectfully paid what needed to be paid but like said, I had never been charged a gel removal so I didn't appreciate the hidden charge. Lastly, I know we ALL do this, we all talk bad about customers here & there but this is what also makes me anxious on going to this salon now is that they talk bad about customers in front of you. I'm sure they'll talk bad about me next once they see this review but I was getting my nails done with Deedee & most of them were talking bad about a client named Carol for a good 15 min, saying how she's too much to handle & annoying and will only do one service on her each staff member because she's "that bad" and this same client (Carol) comes in 10 minutes later and they were all greeting her so kindly & welcoming like they were not talking shit a bit ago lol. This girl actually sat next to me & was really kind & quiet, kinda like me when I go so I was pretty confused. I honestly do not care if you talk shit, we all do it. We're all imperfect but the professionalism of this place went from 100 to 0. I'm very sad that I will not be going here anymore, especially since Rocio & the new owner (who does my eyebrows) are amazing. I wish the owner nothing but the best and hopefully more respectful & communicative employees in the future. read more
