Update on my recent visit: I had a facial and Gaby gave me a whole different nose. I dont know why i have not done it earlier. I tried her Le Mieux skin care products for about a month now. The TGF booster and retinol was a game changer. She has such knowledge and curiousity in knowing the products and the science to it that you know you are consulting from someone who knows "skin" very well. Her goal aligns from my goal, which is having to use less make up in the end because you dont need to cover up what you already have: beautiful glowing skin. I went back to try out more products from Le Miuex and had another Brazilian and underarm waxing and felt well taken care of. She just makes it easy breezy and the whole experience of having such a good experience made me feel my time and money was well spent. I am pretty much a repeat customer now and I am so glad her spa is just 5 minutes away from my house. I had to write another review for Gabriela, this time on her amazing skills with permanent makeup. Yes, she does it all. I did my lip blush tattoo with her and my lips already have a soft pink tint to them! (I am going to post my healed color 6 weeks post touchup). She is a master craftsman (craftswoman ) because she makes sure that her work is as impeccable as possible. She takes the time needed to make sure it's done right...and it sure is. Best Brazilian I've ever had, and I've been getting them for 18 years from various places. Prior to this I was going to European Wax Center, but they always change staff and would get someone different all the time. Gabby is super thorough, gentle and knowledgeable. I have had over 5 estheticians in SF work with me to curate my acne issues and Gabby is the only person that has actually cleared my skin. That's a lofty statement because it's true. I see her on a weekly basis and she tailors a treatment from dryness to peels and extractions and masks. I never peel or turn red after. She really is a miracle worker. I also love that she uses inside industry grade products. I'm using an eye cream to treat my dark circles and puffiness and also a serum that is evening out my complexion. I've been seeing Gaby for over 3 years and I must say - she is by far one of the best estheticians around. Gaby has taught me so much about my skin and how to take care of it and has made every experience I've had at The Skyn Bar an enjoyable one. She is really good at making her customers feel comfortable and relaxed, especially while getting a wax which we all know can be a painful experience - but with Gaby I am never in pain, in fact I leave feeling refreshed. I've been seeing Gabriela for almost a year now and before I met her I pretty much gave up hope on having good skin, and was pretty much resigned to making the best of the skin I had. When she asked about my skin goal, I told her I wanted to look airbrushed- mostly because I knew it would be all but impossible. I got the diamond microdermabrasion and my little sis could see in a difference in my skin. it's not dramatic cause i only did one session only a half hour... and i don't think the change happened instantly but for sure the session woke my face up lolol so over the days and weeks i find my skin looking better. it's in a cute space (just wait in the lobby by the elevator she will come get you).. parking can be difficult but for the sake of your face it's worth it. you can't just go to anyone and i felt like i was in good hands when i was there. she's a great conversationalist if that's what you want she answered all my questions with patience and detail and she has such great energy didn't pressure me to do more didn't pressure me for another appointment overall great experience i will totally come back for my next microderm!!! read more

I have tried everything for acne and pigmintation and texture issues due to acne scars. Lasers, Obagi, Chemical peels, Blue Peels, Clear Light, IPL, Fraxel and more. I have had adult acne on and off for 15 years. I even used to own a Medi-Spa where I had access to many procedures and products - Clarisonic (which I love and use everyday), IPL's V-Beam lasers, Ultrasound and products of all medical grade. I have to say that Gabriella really knows skin and skin products! Her Microdermabrasions are incredibly effective !! From the product side, I have used everything known to man. Obagi did offer many benefits at the time, especially for texture and skin tone however Gabriella's line- the Le Mieux line of skincare has blown me away ! I use the DNA Serum and absolutely LOVE the way it makes my skin look and feel. It is a retinol but is non irritating and really has helped soften lines around the forehead, chin and of course the eyes along with making it bounce versus sag a bit. . The Vitamin C serum - which gives your skin this glow that I can't believe is what I put on after the Retinol serum and then finally the hylauranic serum. My skin soaks this up and it plumps my face and gives me a youthful moistened, dewy look. This combo has been so beneficial to me and in a short 2 or 3 months. I have NEVER gotten this many compliments ever about my skin. The overall texture has significantly improved and I must say that I think my skin looks better now than it did when i was 30.
