Bernice went out of her way to resolve an old issue. Gave me a $50 credit, even though it's been almost a year. She remembered. She has put some of my confidence back in her. But that being said, she's the only nail technician worth seeing. read more

I walked in for a full set. They don't do traditional nails but they build up the acrylic from your real nail no glued on tips. She said that these were suppose to be much better than the traditional. My nail tech said they start at $40 & up. Kinda pricey but I'm always willing to try new stuff. By the end of it I wasn't happy at all ! Some of my nails where super thick some were thin. They weren't even at all and some were lumpy. I tried to show the tech but she didn't see what I was talking about. By day 4, two of my nails lifted off. I paid $60 for these nails. Disappointed. I won't be going back to this place unfortunately. read more

Nails are nice but they need to sanitize more I am a licensed cosmetologist and when I seen them not changing the towels after finishing another woman's nails I walked out, and almost vomited it was disgusting. Also they need to learn English not just Spanish if they want more customers. Also they need to work faster they took way too long on my nails. Omg. Awful. I just left this place not a happy customer AT ALL! Idk if it was just my luck that I got the worst "nail tech" ever or if all of these women should probably just find a different profession. 1st red flag: she didn't speak a lick of English 2nd: idk if they were trying to get one over on me or what but one lady told me one price and another came at me with something TOTALLY different. I get it sometimes people miss speak but when she asked her about it she was like yeah I told her that much that's what it cost! (If you tell me a certain price then half way into it you try and up it youre outta your mind if you think I'm gunna keep quiet) 3rd: when I pointed out that the nails were crooked and filed down way too much she fixed them but then after applying the acrylic (which is SO BADLY applied and UNEVEN)/LUMPY) over filed and made them uneven, Misshapen and lopsided! I'm sure if the owner seen what a shitty job was done he/she wouldn't have made me pay a cent! Unfortunately I'm not one for confrontation so I paid a whopping $30 for an unfinished horrible "full set" that I will MOST DEFIANTLY have to pay to get fixed elsewhere!! read more

I been coming here for about 7 months now, at first I would always make my appointment with Blanca or Annel and always get what I wanted. Then Blanca left the place and was hard to get an appointment with Annel. I thought all of the ladies working there had experience. What was my surprise that I tried Lili and her helper (I didn't get her name). I got the worst gel nails ever, all bumpy and totally uneven. I asked for coffin nails and honestly I could see they had no idea of what I was asking. You could see they were really trying since they redo the acrylic several times but the try failed, I left the place with a bitter taste in my mouth and $35.00dlls less on me. I don't mind the price if the work done is acceptable. This time was not worth it. read more

I will NEVER recommend this place to any one!!! ok, so I called Thursday 9/19/19 to make an appointment, I was offered Saturday the 21st so I took it. the lady that assisted me in scheduling that appointment informed me that my appointment was for the 3rd ave location since they had just opened up a new location on Broadway. SOOOO I show up for my appointment, to this little store, very unorganized, very uninviting, no music no tv just a nail tech and her daughter. I show her a picture of what I wanted and we proceeded, I also have two broken nails so I suggested maybe a new full set, She told me I "was not scheduled for a full set"...HUH? ok fine understandable, we worked around the nails I had and left it as a "fill". as we got closer to the design time, she decides to rummage thru the store for the iridescent foil i wanted for my design and then tells me she doesn't have it because most of the product was sent to the new location. WHY SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS AT THIS LOCATION THEN?????? so I find an alternate foil closest to the design I had went there to get, finally got towards the end and I requested rhinestones got those applied and she applied a top coat and boom we were done, didn't offer me a gel top coat, didn't ask me what shape I wanted, so all my old nails are coffin and the newly applied 2 nails were square and not the same length as the rest of my nails. I stand up after asking her to correct a few things i was not leaving that place with out. and she proceeds to tell me that my total was $60.00!! WTF $60 for fills?? fills that were not even what i wanted, fills that I had to settle for. I understand little things add up, but a full set starts at $38.00 right? HOW TF did my "FILL" come up to $60? anyway so I whip out my debit card, I mean I didnt come to fight, whats done is done, and she says cash only!!!! OMG you would think the person on the phone scheduling the appointment would have informed me of that NO? i dont carry cash of course, she asked me to go to the ATM machine!! LOL this whole experience was garbage, YOU ALL ARE LUCKY I HAVE INTEGRITY, I came back to pay her. here we are 5 days later, i have a nail that already popped off and am missing half my rhinestones and the top coat is peeling....A WHOLE $60.00 worth...Never again!!! thanks LARISSA and EXOTIC nails for stealing my money. read more

The ladies are extremely talented, not denying that. I love the quality of the nails because they definitely last a lot longer than any other nail place that I have gone too. HOWEVER, one thing that I am extremely disappointed with is that there is no visible price sign for the services offered. I understand that prices vary per design/ rhinestones & etc, but there is no way that it costs $10 extra to replace ONE broken nail!?! When its costs $10 for an entire new set, that to me is completely ridiculous. It's very disappointing because I do like coming here but after that bad experience not sure if I will come back which sucks. I would recommend better management. read more

The girls here are super nice, super professional. All three have great talent (my personal favorite is Annel, jiji) The place is small but very clean and organized. Lol my sister is a nail tech and I went here once because my sister was out of town and let me tell you I left so unhappy. My nails looked like they had been growing for like 2 weeks already even tho I had just got them done. They didn't care to fix up my cuticles or prep my nails before they started working with the drill. And to top it off some were crooked and uneven even after having a conversation with her that many Chinese places leave them very thick. The most amazing and detailed nails are done here! I drive from Escondido to Chula Vista just for them! It is totally worth the drive! They can do any design and the gems last a long time.
