My sister in law rented out the salon for her bridal party! Great nail salon and will definitely be back if I am ever down in Chula Vista. They are a family owned/run business so they next time you are looking to support by getting your nails done, come here! Prices are super good and the nail techs are super consistent. Not sure if any particular tech can do intricate designs but I didn't ask for anyone specific and Mei (May(?)) was able to do the simple design I wanted!

Tran is my go to girl and has been great, I've only starting going here not too long ago and it's a hidden gem right up my street. Tran takes her time and ensures I like the shape the color and everything before she starts. This place is definitely my go to spot for gel mani and pedi. Also want to add that their prices are reasonable. Check them out!

This shop is a little with great service and so welcoming to all customers. I was able to meet my nail tech there because I see Sandra for my hair. She is amazing. These pics I'm sharing are my nails done by Tran. She too is amazing and did exactly what I requested! Great team you all have there and so affordable too! This small little nail salon is in the back of a hair salon and easily missed. They do great work and the prices are cheaper than most in the area. They will do any design on your nails and toes are all very friendly. Also have been in the Chula Vista area for a long time. Come support your local small business. You will def be happy with the prices and the creativity! They are happy to do your nails from any pic you googled. It's honestly amazing!

I was pretty unimpressed with the whole experience. I called 30 minutes ahead to make sure they had availability. When I arrived I was seated without a wait which was good. However throughout the service my tech left repeatedly to go tend to another customer. Huge pet peeve of mine. I understand that they want to serve as many customers as they can but they're doing so at the expense of work quality and customer experience. It also increased the total time of my service. I was there for over two hours. I would have been fine with all of that had the work been decent quality, but it was not. I requested xxl length acrylic nails, coffin shape. I understand that this length can be challenging to execute, but that's no reason for me to pay for poor quality work. There was an overall lack of attention to details; the shape of the nails is inconsistent, lumpy, and looks nothing like the photo I showed the tech. There are areas where the polish did not cover the nail and a pretty significant gap between the acrylic nail and the cuticle. I hate leaving reviews like this because the staff were nice and friendly, but overall it was a really disappointing experience

Recently started coming to this nail salon since it's very close to my house. Had tried a few in the South Bay Area but was hard to find that could do a basic mani well surprisingly and with decent pricing. I've gotten my nails done about 4 times but today I got them done with Tran for the first time and can't speak more highly of her friendly and professional service! First time customer! Came in just for an acrylic removal and it was great; completely PAINLESS (which I've never experienced before). The employees were very personable and the lady that helped me (I didn't get her name sadly) was kind and really took her time. My nails are usually really flimsy and weak after removals, but they still feel strong! I was also offered a little pen while my nails were soaking so I could still use my phone despite my fingers being wrapped up. I thought that was super cute and considerate of customers to prevent boredom while waiting; they really think of the little things! I called the day before and made an appointment for the next day. When I arrived at the nail salon at my appointment time, they were closed. I took my business elsewhere and won't be returning. Lily didn't have the courtesy to call me and tell me that the salon was closing early. read more

It's unfortunate to update this review with such an opposite rating. I came here a few years back with raving reviews, but today when I showed up for my 10:30 appointment, no one was there. There was only a hair stylist in the salon and she said she wasn't sure why they didn't show up for the appointment. I made the appointment this morning at 9:30 for 10:30, yet no nail stylists were there. I asked if there was anyway to contact whoever took my appointment but we didn't know who it was and there were no business cards to try other phone numbers. Weird incident... Unfortunate that I drove all the way here. read more

Opened at 9 am, no one there except for a hair stylist. I asked her what time they would be coming in to do nails and she said "I don't know. Sometimes they come in at 9 am sometimes they don't." There's no other number to contact. What a way to market and keep clientele. By the way, if you have varied hours, list it. Ridiculous. read more

Great service by Song! She is funny, sweet, and a total gem to find so close home. I came in late one evening for a fill and she ended up having to do a brand new set because the previous set was done with a cheap acrylic that was chipping off so bad after only three weeks (brand new set). She stayed later and fixed the problem to ensure I didn't have any future issues with my nail. So greatful read more

I love love this place!! I love the fact that this place is family owned and they have been doing this 26 years and they are really great at what they do. May was the one who helped me she is beyond nice and sweet and she made sure to have my input and she didn't cut me at all was real careful with my hands and feet... AND SHE CUT MY CUTICLES!!!!!! :) when navigation brings you to a whole different place that's in the vicinity that you're supposed to go to , sometimes it might be fate! I had time to spare and had to get a fill so i went in and I was greeted by Tracy. Cutie Salon is actually in It's super cute it's a 1/4 of the shared space but I couldn't have felt more comfortable. read more

I called to see if they'd be able to see me and I was told to come in asap which was great. When I arrived I showed Song what style and polish I wanted. She immediately started on my nails immediately. I forgot the name of the tech who did my toes but she was great too and quick. Price wasn't bad and I was very happy with my pink marble nails. read more

I've been coming here for 3 years now and I seriously haven't had a reason to change nails salon. I used to live in the area but after a while I moved 30mins away from the place. Still, I drive over 20 miles just to see Song. She really makes an effort in knowing what you like and she does not forget! Highly recommend her or any of the other ladies that work there. I've always had a great experience with all of them. You won't regret it! read more

From my very first appointment, she set the tone. I walked in with a Starbucks for myself and my stylist... completely unaware the salon had a café (which was closed, by the way). Instead of a normal greeting or a simple "Just so you know, we have coffee here," she loudly blurted out, "Who brings Starbucks here?" as if I had just broken a house rule. Not exactly the welcoming vibe you expect when you're coming in to spend money. Her attitude has been the same every visit since: dirty looks, zero acknowledgment unless you're her direct client, and an overall negative energy that shifts the whole room the second she walks in. And it's not just me. My best friend and my mom have both gone to the same stylist and experienced the exact same treatment from the owner. The same snarky comments, the same judgmental looks, the same cold, uninviting demeanor. So it's clearly a pattern, not a one-off. One moment that really stuck with me: it was just me, my stylist, and the owner in the salon. My stylist stepped into another room, so I raised my voice slightly to make sure she could hear me. The salon was empty. Yet I overheard the owner mutter, "Why is your client so loud? She's in a salon." Instead of speaking to anyone directly or respectfully, she chose to insult a paying client behind their back. Completely uncalled for and extremely unprofessional. Even if YOU the paying client says hi to her she looks you up and down and gives a cold hi back. At this point, the only reason I've ever tolerated stepping foot into this salon is because of my hairstylist. Who deserves better, and so do her clients. If you value professionalism, respect, and a welcoming environment, I'd strongly recommend booking with these amazing stylists anywhere else if they offer services at another location. The talent here is great. The owner is the problem.

So, I wasn't going to leave this review- I was just never going to come back…read more So I was getting Gel X done with extensions, the girl who helped me trimmed my cuticle and caused me to bleed a lot. In her panic, she put super glue on my cut to stop the bleeding, then put a washcloth back on it to stem the bleeding but ended up supergluing the washcloth to my finger. She then ripped the washcloth off my finger (which HURT) and had to spend 5min tweezing off the bits of washcloth that were not glued to my finger. She also gaslit me and said my skin was so thick, so it was my fault. Not only that- but she often applied too much glue and had to keep redoing her applications. Even after that horrific experience- I was going to let it go. I even tipped her $30 because I'm too nice and hate conflict. But we're barely 3 days in having these nails and already my thumb nail popped off in front of my friggin boss. Beware of this place. There's a reason why some people never return.

Tran has been the absolute best. I just started getting back into having my nails done again and she has been so patient with me. I know I can be quite picky and I like designs too.
