I have a semi verbal autistic 8 year old grandson and three years ago I found Veronica at Super Stylish!! As long as she or her other stylists are still in town, I will continue to take my boy there! I have used the other stylists there but Veronica was the first. They all are very respectful of his sensitivity and scissors only for his cuts, as he HATES the clippers and blow dryer. They had me wait for more than hour. At the beginning the receptionist told me to wait 20 minutes. I patiently waited inside. Since they wouldn't call me I got up to ask if they were ready for me, but they had me wait an additional 20 more minutes, so I went to clean my car outside the salon. Might as well do something productive. So After the additional 20 minutes had passed, I went inside and unfortunately they had me wait 15 more minutes. After all, they had me wait 55 minutes. Their story changed, originally they said it was going to be just 20 minutes. It was obvious that they did not want to do my hair. I have never received this kind of service ever before in my life. Don't GO TO THIS PLACE. They discriminated against me without a legitimate or professional reason. I waisted a whole hour of my precious time. read more

I am happily updating my review of Veronica at Super Stylish. I am still extremely pleased with the way that Veronica cuts my hair. Now that COVID is over, I have gone back to my pixie cut. Especially now with my hair as short as it is, it is more important than ever not to have my hair cut too short! Veronica never disappoints! She discusses what she is going to do before cutting your hair which is great and she has never cut my hair too short after years of going to her. (I think you can see that this is a hot button for me! It's just happened too many times before with other hair stylists. Then you feel bad and have to wait until your hair grows out. You spent the money and are left with too short hair - not good and not the situation with Veronica.) The whole shop does quality work and the salon is friendly and pretty inside as they just upgrading the interior of the salon. Booked an appointment for a hairstyle after being asked to come in to show pictures to make sure they were able to do what I wanted. I called the day of my appointment to make sure 3 pm was still an ok time to come in, and the girl told me I was on the calendar but not the appointment book. So basically they couldn't take me and there was nothing they could do. I booked a couple weeks in advance.... RIDICULOUS. I didn't even get a phone call from the manager or anyone apologizing for the inconvenience and mistake on their end. This place clearly doesn't care about newer customers. read more

Veronica cut my hair today. I was clear about wanting a Bob haircut that curled under on the ends, rather than a severe blunt-cut Bob. Veronica gave me a blunt cut. No effort or artistry whatsoever, nor did she heed my request. Now my bushy haircut looks like THE LITTLE DUTCH BOY on the paint can. I feel insulted, ignored, and left with a bad haircut. I'm elderly, and I suspect she didn't want my repeat business because no hairdresser wants a reputation as a hairstylist to the elderly: that wouldn't be "super stylish". I've been coming here for a little over year (it used to be a Supercuts but is now independently owned - all the same stylists). I was tired of over priced salons downtown, a friend recommended Veronica to me and at my first appointment she gave me the best cut and color I've ever received. I called, made my appointment and Vero was ready for me as soon as I walked in. She was very nice and helped me decide on what was best for my hair texture. well i have been going to supercut for over 10 years and when i saw that the new place was now open i went there for my haircut and i was very happy to see vero and the old crew but something strange happened. i paid with my credit card which at the time was at 0 balance so now i had a balance of 25 dollars. about 2 weeks later i got a call from my credit card company telling of possible fraud and yes there was an attempt to purchase an item at 7 am on a monday morning. there was also 2 purchases done in a store called leanns bridal which where not mine. when i went back to the store vero wasnt there so i left her a message to call me about this and she never responded back to me. its been almost 3 weeks since then and because of that im not going back there ever again. so be warned if u pay with your credit card keep a close eye on the usage monitor it for fraud make sure they are not using it. any way that is my review. read more
