So, I wasn't going to leave this review- I was just never going to come back…read more So I was getting Gel X done with extensions, the girl who helped me trimmed my cuticle and caused me to bleed a lot. In her panic, she put super glue on my cut to stop the bleeding, then put a washcloth back on it to stem the bleeding but ended up supergluing the washcloth to my finger. She then ripped the washcloth off my finger (which HURT) and had to spend 5min tweezing off the bits of washcloth that were not glued to my finger. She also gaslit me and said my skin was so thick, so it was my fault. Not only that- but she often applied too much glue and had to keep redoing her applications. Even after that horrific experience- I was going to let it go. I even tipped her $30 because I'm too nice and hate conflict. But we're barely 3 days in having these nails and already my thumb nail popped off in front of my friggin boss. Beware of this place. There's a reason why some people never return.

Today, the quality was lacking but I know that's not usual. I was quoted a 15 minute wait time and waited 25-30. They were really nice and gave me water. I also had to have gel paint removed from my toes, so that took an extra 10mins (no extra charge). Although, the menu says a pedicure is 25 mins, I was there an hour not including my wait time. In the end she didn't massage my legs or do lotion, just some oil and a hot towel. They didn't even help me put my sandals back on, she just went straight to the desk to wait for me to pay. If the pedicure process has changed, I'd prefer the menu description options reflect that. I noticed a difference in customer service as time went on and I declined a manicure. Oh well.

I should've known then something was wrong and should have checked my nails but I trusted them to do a good job. Mani/pedi gel, cost was $98, left $22 for tip. I guess if you want something done that is detailed, go somewhere else or find out who is good with doing detailed designs. The next day (today) I sent a message on their FB page seeing that they are active on it. They read the message and didn't reply. Will update this if/when they reply.

The shape is different than what I came in with but it doesn't look bad. They have a bit more of a rounded apex when you look for the side and I like them more flat but it's not a big deal. It's just preference. I also got my eyebrows waxed. There's a small room right are the beginning of the hallway that is overcrowded for its size but serves its purpose. She was quick and efficient with my eyebrows. No complaints. The general feel of the place of slightly crowded because they have a lot of stations and pedicure chairs. The staff that didn't have clients were just scattered around doing their own thing. It seems like a nice place. Calm. I would go back if I needed to in a pinch and my regular person isn't available.

My experience at Lisa's nail and spa was amazing I just went there to get my pedicure and I saw that guy who works doing hair and I decided to ask about my hair because he did someone else hair and when she walked out her hair was awesome like perfect so he gave me a couple of suggestions a bout of what could be great on my hair so he did highlights and color and the result blew me up incredible !!! Heard from friends that this place has gotten amazing within the past year because of some renovations and change of employees, so I had to check it out. I started coming 2 months ago, to get a pedicure. Friends told me I would get addicted if I get one... And they are right. I can not believe how much i was missing out. I love pedicures! and man-icures! male or female, I think having clean nails is awesome. Anyway, I got Thi. Very strong massage. I've gone back twice now and I highly recommend. I love this place, they have a large crowd of staff. They also sell bunch of purses. It's a all in one package here. The staff are so friendly, and i love the cozy environment they have. I opted for a pedicure with callus removal and sugar scrub. The scrub was fine, like not too gritty. The massage was light pressure. My calluses were only partially removed. Something went wrong with the gel polish on my pinky toe because it peeled off the very next day. Either incomplete prep or incorrect gel polish application. No issues with the polish on other toes. There is still an excess of dead skin around my big toes. The service was speedy! I think with a little more attention to detail, this could have been great.

One of my biggest pet peeves about some nail places I've been to in the past is feeling rushed. Not so here. They take their time and are very attentive to the customer in front of them. Also they did my mani at a manicure table, not in the spa chair, which is always my preference. I am not a fan of a manicure in the spa chair. Last visit had a pedi (with flower), mani, and upper lip wax. $34.00 (not including tip). I couldn't get out of my old place, in my old town, for under $40.00 (not including tip) for just a pedi. Can't speak for acrylic nails since I don't have those, but I am very pleased with the service I have received so far.

Just some advice to La Posh don't assign Katelyn to first time customers and advise her to speak to her customers- chances are they will not be back! For a $85 pedicure you'd expect it to be at least decent.
