I made a 5:30 appointment for a mani/pedi. Went ahead and decided not to go for the pedicure based on reviews but I went ahead and followed with my mani. I wanted dio which I quickly changed my mind since the selection was very very small like maybe 20 colors! I wanted to add a tip to my nails and I had to wait approximately 1hr which was fine since I had changed my mind. I wanted a simple cheetah print on two of my nails and the guy couldn't do it so I said I'll just keep them how they are a solid color! I was very frustrated because it was already 7 and I could tell he was rushing ! I left sad because I HATE my nails! He did such a bad job! I won't be going there anymore read more

6/22/19 first time getting a massage. My massage therapist was Sue and her hands are thy best! I give her 10. She gives you options if you want soft or hard. I went with soft and the hot stones. I'm beyond satisfied with her. She's leaving on vacation from July 2 to Aug 2 so book in your massages fast. Great service! Please tip sue! She not only gives you a great massage but she's professional, kind, and great customer service. My go to place. Kim and CeCe do a great job on my gel manicure and pedicure every time. $65 total. My only gripe is I make an appointment and never have I been taken in on time. I usually have to wait 20-30 minutes after I arrive because they accept walk ins on a first come first serve basis. I been coming here for years because i love how they leave my toes and nails. Due to covid reasons i stopped going for over a year but recently went back again for my monthly nails. Sadly tom is no longer working there and he was the one that would do my nails. The first time back the guy thats there now did my nails french tip and they were horrible the next day. Luckily Lisa was able to fix them for free no problem because i never had the issue where i had to return back to fix them. Second time i went in the guy did my nails and cut me 3 times in 3 different fingers but i didn't complain no big deal it happens. Next day my nails looked like they were lifting wanting to come off looking all crusty. This time i didn't go back, my fault for going back twice to the same guy. 2 Stars because i'm not satisfied with my nails anymore only toes. I paid 100$ for toes and nails witch is no problem but to have my nails looking crusty until they fall off ? I pay good to get good nails. They usually last 4 weeks. This place is a HUGE dissapointment !!! The last 2 times I left there completely dissapointed. First time, my nails looked like trident gum with an ugly wanna be marble effect. 2nd time I made the huge mistake of returning hoping they'd do a better job and unfortunately I did not take a picture but came out in different shapes & the gel acrylic chipped off after only 4 days which by the way it's a day before my birthday and i was not expecting to have a horrible manicure before leaving out of town to celebrate. I went in to personally show them the horrible job they did & get a refund. They did not want to refund me so I settled into letting them fix it by doing gel rather than powder gel which was $43 & gel is only $23. As they took off the powder gel the lady has the audacity to tell me that there would be an extra charge to fix my nails with a different gel color which is WAY cheaper than I what I had payed for the horrible job ! This was beyond the worst service I have ever experienced ! If you are looking for a good place in Chula Vista, go to the Nail lounge. The price is right. The spa pedicures and services aren't rushed. Overall we'll be back. They offer those super detailed acrylic designs. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is for the repeated requests the 3 of us made for the shape of our nails, to fix the jagged paint near our cuticles and I blame miscommunication. The nail techs weren't understanding our requests - example - we requested coffin shape and we were given square. Even after asking to make them narrow and showing pictures of what we wanted they'd just make them shorter. My daughter's nail design didn't match (it was a special occasion). She tried to point it out and the nail tech just shook her head and acted like she didn't understand. After the third time asking our 3 different nail techs to correct something we didn't want to make it a problem. I tried to bring it to the cashiers attention but she said "oh, ok. Next time." We paid, tipped 10% instead of the 20% and left. I'd just advise to make it clear what you want. read more
