Terrible service. Had a pedicure An older woman serviced me (unfortunately I didn't get her name) she has the epitome of a bitchy resting face. She was unwelcoming from the moment she sat in her chair. From start to finish my visit was dreadful. Her tools were not packaged or sealed sanitary. They were just laying on the table as she proceeded. Instead of gently moving my foot from the water to the foot rest she aggressively tapped my knee each time & pushed my foot in the water. I could not wait to get out of there. I walked out disgusted at this experience. The ladies there now knows me and they are so sweet and patient. I have to say that it was always busy but not enough sweet and hardworking ladies like them so they get booked up a lot but I know that they are trying their best to satisfy their customers. I usually get my nails done at my usual spot (both pedicures and manicures) but I didn't have my car at those times and can travel this place only. The timing is a little difficult since I had my manicure first then pedicure last. It takes about one hour and a half to get them done. My usual spot get my manicure and pedicure at the same time at once which saves so much time. But like I said, those sweet ladies doesn't have enough staffs to fill in sometimes. And they are hard working women and I appreciate them! read more

Excellent experience with Imperial nails! Brought my 10 and 13 yr old in for nails and medi pedi they did an excellent and quick job. The place was empty when we came in and there was not a single spot left when we left, paid 90 for a medi pedi and a pair of acrylic nails which seemed very reasonable. Give it two because there's a lady that I used to go to religiously and she was super nice but moved away and came back didn't go to this salon but with saying that I come in when I need something quick like a soak off or quick gel . The first encounter some time last year I was upsold from a gel to a dip powder and it was horrible but the lady was nice since I agreed to the upsell. This year I went in to get a soak off . I literally jumped from my chair took my hand back and walked out. There is no soak off service there's a pop your nail off with another nail , if I wanted pain I would've took them off myself at home. I went in for a simple mani/pedi. I am older and I live alone, so it was really just for me. I am so disappointed in the way I was treated. It was an upsell from the moment I walked in and told them what I wanted and it didn't stop! The other manicurists got involved saying, just try the parefin, well, get our special treatment. This is the first nail place I tried since moving to IB a few months ago. It is very clean and relaxing. I got a manicure and pedicure. The massage chairs were nice and the service over the top. While my pedicure was being done by one person, another person came to do my manicure and I felt like I was being pampered. Everyone in the nail salon was very kind and skilled at their craft. i hardly leave review for anyone , but service was painfuI and awkward. went in for a soak off and pedi because I just wanted my gel off and I asked before hand if they have tap to pay because I didn't bring my purse on accident but I can pay with my phone . as soon as I said that I wanted a basic service the attitude of the nail tech completely changed. she spent several minutes trying upsell me and when I didn't agree she walked away and tried to switch to a new customer. Reluctantly she returned and did not soak off , she grinded off a full set and left a layer of acrylic on my nails and damaged so many layers of my nailbed. Then the pedicure she hardly did what their basic service included. Now that the service is over she showed me her Venmo and stood there demanding that I tip her and that she's not seeing a tip in her inbox .. I told her that it's not customary to demand a tip especially after the service I'm getting and now their card reader is not working so I'm waiting to pay. It's sad because I just moved to the area and I typically do go for a full set and gel pedi , but why would I return to this treatment just because one time I did not want to do a expensive set. read more

I like how airy and fresh the place is, however, the prices are pretty expensive. For a basic manicure, I just wanted my nails cut down short and plain (no color) - that cost $20 (!) I didn't get a pedicure but the price of a basic pedicure is $35. I'll continue going to Nail Tech down the street for a basic manicure which I believe is $10 or $12 and a basic pedicure is $20. read more

I find myself at IB Pet a couple times a month and decided to stop it out of convenience and a wedding I had coming up. IM SO GLAD I DID! May is my new go to person. My personal experience. I'm stationed in SD. Been to different high end salons. Decided to give this one a try because of the yelp reviews and because it's so close to my work. Sadly This is one of the worst. Great technology and clean place but I Didn't feel welcomed by staff. Nail tech didn't know what she was doing. The girl beside her kept telling /explaining to her what to do and i paid $75 dollars for her to do the best pedi they had but it wasn't worth the money I spent. Didn't get the relaxation I needed and my nails weren't even dry before I left so I had to redo them my self. I'm pretty basic too because of my job. I like to up keep my nails when I'm in port. Sadly I Will not be visiting this place again. And yes I still tipped my person because I know people need to make a living. I treat my nail ladies back home like family. read more

It took one finger nearly two hours to stop bleeding. I also got home with better lighting to see tons of gel left on my nails. She charged $25! If I could give zero stars I would. I got a mani/pedi and the lady that did my mani cut THREE of my cuticles and one was really bad and kept bleeding. To top that off she kept rubbing her nasty finger nail over it. I spent the remainder of the weekend in pain and with my fingers in bandages with antibiotic ointment. They were swollen and painful!! As soon as I walked in I noticed the cleanliness and organization of this place. It looks very new and I felt like I was in good hands instantly. The chair wasn't as comfortable which is why I gave it 4 stars but the lady that did my pedicure wow she deserves 5 stars. She spent 1 hour on my feet! And I only got the $35 service she took her time with the foot massage and was very gentle. She asked if I wanted my nails trimmed which now a days they don't even bother to ask and she didn't push on getting the gel service didn't even ask which was sooo refreshing.
