I really don't ever write reviews unless the place is really great or really terrible. I've been coming to this nail salon for years now and only until recently has it gone downhill. This last time was the last time that I will ever go there. I waited longer to be seen then sitting in the actual chair for my pedicure. No joke the pedicure took maybe 15 minutes? It was SO FAST. The lady cut my nails so short it was painful. One of my toenails was cut way shorter than the other. Literally wearing socks later on hurt because my nails were cut so extremely short. There was no massage, no lotion, no damp towel for my legs, like they usually do, she removed more callus off one foot and not the other, the chair they sat me in did not work as far as being a "massage chair " and to top it off a mosquito landed on my leg and she slapped my leg to kill it. Wow. The moment she was done painting my toes she put my sandals on and rushed me off the chair. It was just a terrible experience. Makes me sad because I used to really like this spot. Other than that, the customer service is okay, the women are nice. I still tipped too like an idiot. Never again! read more

They're really nice, but service-wise, I don't think so. I set an appointment to have three-week old acrylic nail extensions removed. I got those nails in a different place when I was out of town. The lady who removed them said that my nails got practiced on, all while she was POPPING OFF the extensions. I'm sure she knew what she was doing because she was confident about just removing them the way she did, except it left me with damaged, peeled, and brittle nails for a few weeks. read more

I go in and ask for a pedicure and a full set, I always ask how much before setting myself up to for sure get my nails done I wanted a simple short square one gel color that's all when I asked her how much she said 30$ I said ohh wow perfect that was really cheap in my opinion I knew it was too good to be true I did my pedicure first the wonderful lady who did my pedicure did an amazing job I do not remember her name forgive me I'm not the best at remembering names.... Overall my pedicure was a 10/10 I loved it.... When it came to getting my nails done the lady who did them was very rude, insecure, and unprofessional doing my nails you'll see why I say insecure in a moment I had asked for a full set I let them know 3 times and she still "forgot" and was doing a manicure the manicure she was doing was absolutely horrifying i felt like it was my three year-old niece painting my nails, and cutting my cuticles I didn't say anything until the gel only because I genuinely believed she was doing gel x not acrylic then when I noticed she went for the black polish I let her know that I asked for a full set, She proceeded to get upset and say that I didn't let her know To which I responded yes, I did let you know. I let you know 3 to 4 times. She didn't say anything. She did get upset, I know this because she had on glasses and a Covid mask from how hard she was breathing her glasses got fogged up I couldn't see her eyes.....I didn't pay no attention to it.... Next thing you know this lady is asking me what I do for a living. I didn't think anything of it. I didn't think malicious intent because I genuinely thought we were having a conversation that's when I noticed She started laughing at me after I let her know that I go to school and I work she laughed at the fact that I go to school and work because she said that it's too hard to do and it's not possible for ME to do apparently I told her of course it's actually very hard no one said it was easy than she started asking more questions about what I do for work and school and everything, when I would tell her I work with kids or I study this she's starts laughing likes she mocking me I don't get upset but I am Confrontational so I keep asking her what's so funny... she wouldn't respond but she kept laughing i finally had enough I was done being nice she asked a couple more questions about my living situations and if I pays bills I don't know how that's any of her business I had enough that's when I told her I'm not telling you anything anymore because you are to worried about what I am doing with my life instead of worrying about doing your damm job . She proceeded to say that no I don't know what it's like to pays bills and I live with mommy I proceeded to tell her Just because your life wasn't as good as mine at my age doesn't give you the right to be miserable at other people for accomplishing things at such a young age. She was so upset at the idea that I live on my own, I even asked her do you have kids? She said yes SIX so then I told her go worry about your damn kids and stop worrying about what I'm doing with my life. She continued with my nails I don't know how she was seeing if her glasses were fogged up but the work was horrible and she purposely kept cutting me and burning my nail bead when using the drill when she was done I tried to walk away but you better believe I walked back in there and asked for my money back. The pedicure after 2 days I added my nail growth oil to my nails I always add it every time after every pedicure to keep my nails strong I have thin nails, next thing you know the polish wasn't dry I even waited 2 hours for it to dry which it wouldn't dry, I was so confused because it's been 2 days theirs no way the polish isn't dry that's the first time that has ever happened to me. Overall please be careful trusting people especially salons they can have ill intent and give you fungus or and infection. read more

I am extremely picky when it comes to getting my nails done. Annie did EXACTLY as my inspiration photo. Perfect length, made sure you couldn't see my nail since I wanted the line extremely thin. I am very happy. Ming did my pedicure and my toes look great as well. Happy to say I found my new salon in IB. You also can't beat the prices. Only thing I'm hesitant about is to share their names and make it more challenging to get in :D I would recommend making an appointment as they were busy earlier in the day. read more

I showed up on a Friday at around 5 and it was nearly empty which should have been a red flag but since I just got a manicure and a pedicure I thought they can't possibly mess that up. My pedicure was fine, usually I'm offered the option for callus removal and additional spa services but this time I wasn't but a solid 3/5. Ok so where the issues came in with my manicure, I did not see the woman that assisted me open a fresh set of sterilized tools, To be honest I think she used the one that she used on my toes but I can't be certain so I didn't make any accusations. She did not clean, buffer nor push my cuticles at all and I thought that she perhaps Misunderstood and thought I had just asked for gel Polish since it took less than 15 minutes and nothing mentioned above took place. I didn't care much because I was ready to leave I didn't like the place and everything was extremely outdated but when I went to pay they charged me $70 and I asked why and she said because I got gel and it's a minimum of $30 for gel Manicure and I said you didn't perform a manicure you simply filed and applied color and she said it's gel Manicure. I didn't have the energy to go back and forth so I paid gave a small tip and left. I will never return here and I recommend looking for a nail salon elsewhere. My "manicure" is patchy and one of the nails has small Bubbles. Update: gel polish is cracked and chipping. Started chipping on 3rd day. read more

Came in for a gel manicure and decided to add a pedicure I had cut my hang nails the before and didn't bleed but when she was doing her service I was bleeding. I wasn't sure why but she put alcohol wasn't a huge deal to me. I picked a olive green gel color, it was very sheer so it needed 3 coats but on a few nails you could still see my nail underneath. But the worse part is, there was gel on all of my cuticles and it looks messy. Then when I got my pedicure I specifically told the tech my nails are square how I like them please just touch them up with filing to make sure they are very square and even. Some how she cut my nails and rounded them out and they were all uneven. They looked disgusting, I asked for a nail file to try to fix and she grabs a file and was like whats wrong, trying to file them. I said nevermind I'll do it when I get home, because clearly she didn't do what I asked initially so she couldn't fix it. The ladies are very nice, it wasn't busy and the lady who did my manicure talked a lot which sucked because I came to relax, and have some ME time, but it was the whole service with conversations. I wouldn't come back, I'd pay more for a better ambiance and service. read more

Spent way longer than necessary, was in there for almost 3 hours for something that should've taken an hour maybe an hour and a half at max. The lady that was doing my nails was nice, but she had no clue what she was doing. Completely messed my nails up, and left my fingers with cuts on them. Then she proceeded to sit in front of me on her phone and give up working on me, until another lady was open to help me. I waited for 45 minutes to get help from another worker, deciding that I was just going to get them removed and just go home. I was excited to get my nails done, but rather went home crying and in pain. The environment was nice, but the customer service was not. Do not recommend unless you know the people working and ask for them specifically. read more

I tried this shop on August 16, 2022, after I had a nail break from another shop. The place is nice and clean. The woman fixed it and did a great job and was very polite (as were all of the other women there). Their prices are noticeably lower compared to all of the other shops I have tried over the past few months (still haven't found the perfect fit for me as of yet). I decided to go on August 29, 2022, for my fill and pedicure. Tran did my nails and the shape is okay. Both of my middle fingernails look a little bulbous compared to the others. After doing my nails she started the pedicure water. When I told her I didn't want my toes polished it was as if she ended everything else she was going to do for the pedicure. My toenails were a little jagged and my feet were still dry and rough. I thought I was going to have a winning location based on my previous experience, however. Do not go here! I made an appointment for a full set and pedicure and while I was waiting, one of their regular clients came in early with an appointment that was scheduled after mine. I was already waiting 15 minutes and as soon as a nail tech was available she helped the woman who was scheduled after me. Towards the end of my pedicure I had already been there for an hour and 15 min, the nail tech who took someone else when she should have taken me, tried to tell me that she was ready for me lol wtf?! I said it loud enough for everyone to hear that she should have taken me before she took the girl and her mom. I will never go here again. Too bad for them because I'm a really good tipper. I was there so long that I couldn't even get the polish on my toes bc I had to leave. I've never heard of a business doing this!!! The worst. Staff was rude, everything was unsanitary. I would never go back and warn anyone DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! There are several nail salons with 10-15 mins from here. I went because I was running errands in the area and figured it'd be a nice break. I was wrong! So stressful from the lukewarm reception to the re-used nail files. Yuck, I had to have her spray my nails with alcohol for fear of catching something. It's not cheap either, their prices are competitive with all of the others. I know nail places have really taken a hit from Covid and I hesitated to get back into the acrylic mode because of the maintenance. So here I went for a fill. The salon has peeling paint on the walls, the technician does not sterilize instruments, I was stabbed and jabbed to bleeding with the dirty nail cutter and cuticle nippers, the acrylic did not even cover my own nails side to side. The room where I had my eyebrows waxed was the grimiest and dirtiest place I've ever been in and I'm kinda mad at myself for not about facing out of there. There was a dirty blanket and pillow and about a 3 foot bench to lay on, it was something out of a horror movie and I am praying I don't have lice. Jasmine, who I presume to be the owner of the establishment, is a joy when she's working with you. She's funny, keeps conversation going, and can still focus on what she's doing and gets it perfect. She really is a pleasure. However, I'm not sure of the woman's name, but she has short hair cut into a bob style. I've had her twice since I've been going to this place and she's the reason I will never return. She's rude and does what she wants for your nails - not what you ask. Here's an example. A week ago I went in for a simple fill, and gel color change. I told her what I wanted and she suggested something else. I told her I wasn't interested and I just wanted the color I wanted. After setting the gel fill in, she proceeded to do my nails how she had suggested because "I would like it." I told her no thank you again, and she did it anyways. After telling her I did not like it, she became visibly irritated and "huffed and puffed" that it was too late to take the gel off. I told her that was not my problem because it wasn't what I asked for. She proceeded to slam down the nail file and exhale dramatically. She Is rude, will never receive my business again, and still proceeded to try and charge me $30 for a gel FILL that she ruined. And because I had already been waiting there so long, I didn't feel like having her start over on my nail color.
