This place is located off Broadway and by appointment only, they were able to get us in same day and within the hour of calling which was great. Unfortunately during my multiple calls to places asking about pricing... I was not even thinking about massage chairs. I did not feel like driving to lemon grove to get my pedi-cure which has great massage chairs. The front entrance door is locked but the back door is open. There was three (3) techs working and yes it is a hole in the wall place, the vibe here is very welcoming and friendly and sweet (that is a 5 out of 5 for sure), we had some laughs with the techs and listening to conversations with regulars, you could tell they keep their clientele. I can tell you my toes have never throbbed before, and hand soap was used to clean my feet (which was a first for me) - straight from the pump bottle. My significant other had issues with cutting his toenails and was extremely painful. The pricing was a bit higher than I pay at my normal shop but was glad they could get us in. I hate my nails so much. I think they'd be beautiful if they were done correctly & she knew exactly what I wanted and she tells me when she was done: "You could've told me you wanted that shape, I have tips for that shape" when I told her from the start I wanted straight tapered & narrow & showed her the photo........... You can literally see through the nail & honestly from the lighting inside, I couldn't really see that/notice that. The 3D flower is beautiful though but it's not like a baby pink like I wanted. I also got a "pedicure" which only lasted 5 minutes.. I was observing her closely and this is what I got: -My left foot: pushed cuticles back, only cuts cuticles of my big toe. -Right: pushed cuticles back & cuts all cuticles. -Both: files once on each toe & cleans under nails but hurt & scrubs heels super lightly with SoftSoap brand soap while texting a lot.. She was also texting a lot when she was doing my acrylics. I had actually went in for a gel pedi & once she was done with the pedi part, I told her I had to go because I honestly did not want to continue or stay for the service I was getting so I asked for the regular pedicure price.... Let me just say I've never had to pay $25 for a 5 minute pedicure. I'm honestly not the type to get mad/yell at the workers at any salon so I just paid & left. It's not that I should've said something, it's that I did and during it all, I was telling her to fix this and I had to tell her to do 2 coats of the pink color??? I will never go back, this review is really just for other people's awareness & hopefully it is helpful to go elsewhere. I recommend Rosy Tips on H Street, Chula Vista. This is the best nail shop customer service is amazing and they do an amazing job every time

As one person already stated, this nail salon is a hole in the wall. It's very small and not modern whatsoever. There are no massaging chairs, and I'm not even sure if there are many (or even any) machines to dry your nails, but that doesn't lessen the great work they do here. My best friend and her entire family have been going here for years and years. The four workers here are sisters, and whenever I come here with her, they always talk to her about her family and have those personal, friendly relationships. That goes to show they have good customer service and quality! The people that tend to go here are regulars. I got a pedicure from Cindy. She took her time with my toes, and gave a good little foot massage! I got a pretty teal color that they had; their spring colors are super cute. It is cash only, but it's pretty cheap! If you're in the area and don't want to wait long for a mani or pedi, then I suggest stopping by to check it out. Also, they were so sweet because my best friend and I were starving and they gave us some crackers to snack on! How adorable. I can't believe this place only has two reviews! I have been coming here for literally TEN YEARS! I have tried other places here and there, but nothing compares. Like the other review says, they don't have massage chairs and it's a hole in the wall place, but I personally do not mind it at all. There are only four people who work here, all sisters. Loan, Flower, Helen, and Cindy. Loan and Flower are the ones doing nails, while Helen and Cindy take care of the pedicures. Everyone who comes here is a regular, the ladies know everyone by name and greet you as soon as you walk in. I have never once made an appointment and never even waited too long! They do quality work and I am always satisfied. I pay around $40-45 for a fill with gel color and a pedicure. Price and quality can not be beat! Not to mention the customer service! They saw me for a very last minute appointment, mani pedi. The ladies were all so sweet & you could tell that their clients love them. While it's not glamorous, they get the job done. There are not spa seats, just normal chairs for a pedicure, but still, I enjoyed myself. My gel manicure was done well, and has a strong feeling to it. While I was getting my pedicure done, the lady was sure to ask if I was hurting or if the water was ok. She was very attentive and caring! After a stressful day at work, I was so happy to get into their schedule for the last appointment. They do have parking in the back, but I was lucky enough to find parking right in front. I'm from out of town and I needed a pedicure I used yelp for a nail salon and chose this place. Because this place offered pedicures without the spa treatment and that is what I normally get. I usually pay 10.00 dollars without the spa treatment. So I went to this place(and my fault) I didn't think to ask how much for a pedicure before getting it done, but anyways the price for pedicure was 17.00 dollars. I was soooo shocked, so I payed it. And to top it off the pedicure was awful, when I got to the car I noticed my toes were were not painted all the way to the side. I went back and told her to fix them, and the looked worse. So I back again and another lady had to fix the all over again. I DON'T recommend this place for pedicures, and I won't be going back again. To pricey and horrible job. read more

They don't have massage chairs or any of that modern stuff other salons use to up their prices but they definitely take their time and they make sure all their customers leave happy. This is my first visit I was recommended by a waitress whom had a very nice set of nails and I asked her if she had it done and she directed me here. I found this salon through a friend who has been going for years. I LOVE the way Loana did my set. She did them so well that I'm willing to drive 40+ miles each way to see her. Def recommend this place. The page says that they take credit cards but I don't think that they do however, this is becoming more of a standard practice as small businesses need to cut costs wherever they can. This place isn't the most glamorous salon but if you want nails that look good, at a reasonable cost, then this is the place for you. Another thing is that they don't have the spa pedicure chairs (which is a must for me). It's not a big deal though because I don't mind bringing in my own polish or getting a french manicure. I've been going to this place for 20 years and love their work.. It's a hole in the wall and yes it doesn't have luxury chairs because they don't have to impress, their work makes up for the chair massage lol.... Hands down you won't find anywhere in Chula Vista or San Diego (for that matter) a better pedicure than there.. These ladies have known me since I was 12 I am now 33 and I feel like a cheater when I go somewhere else because I dread the commute since I moved out of Chula Vista and I ALWAYS end up driving to them to fix my nails because I'm never satisfied when I go to another place.
