I've been going to the same nail tech for years because I'm extremely picky--she always knows exactly what I want, which is why I never go to anyone else. However, today she was off, and I needed a whole new set! I called Kathy's Nails, and Kathy herself answered. She let me know my usual tech was off but was able to set up an appointment for me the same day at 6:15 PM. When I arrived, I had to wait a little longer than expected, but I didn't mind since I was still deciding on my color. Hanna was my nail tech for the day, and she was amazing! I showed her a picture of what I wanted, and she did *exactly* that. I was so in love with her work! She even stayed past closing time to make sure my set was perfect, which I truly appreciated. Kathy later came by, apologized for the wait (they had a situation come up), and even gave me a gift certificate as a kind gesture. I'm so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried a new tech. The acrylic fill and gel manicures (and pedicures) always last well and I've never had trouble with the acrylics lifting. She was very receptive when I asked her to clip my nails a bit more. I overall enjoyed her. As for my full set I was helped by HANNAH & she was wonderful as well. I showed her the picture of what I wanted and she said she could do the design I asked for. She made sure to ask me through out the process how I was liking everything and i for the most part did like everything. This is my second and last time I come to this nail salon. The lady who did my nails was rude. She's an older woman whose desk is closest to the waiting area (not the owner). I would ask her to make the acrylic thinner, she would immediately talk to the lady doing my toes. Who wants a thick acrylic nail! I asked her if she could trim the left over gel polish, immediate conversation to the lady. She also left my real nails extremely short. I have an acrylic overlay on top of my real nails. The acrylic and my real nails are typically the same length, as of now the acrylic is longer than my real nail. At the end of the appointment she didn't massage or give any hand lotion nor a warm towel. I also was left with acrylic dust all over sandals nor her or the lady who did my toes offered to dust it off. The lady who did my toes was nice but sucked. She left my toes full of clear gel polish and crocked toe nails. Over all it was not worth $91 lesson learned, I'm going back to my original nail spot. read more

This place is one of my faves when it comes to my self-care routine. Every single month, for what seems like years, my girlfriend and I come here to get our pedis. It's a must for us and gives us a moment to do something for ourselves. Kathy has always been so sweet to us. The staff is always kind as well. The space is always clean, the massage chairs work great and our personal little areas are clean as well. Lots of colors to choose from and we are in and out in about an hour and 15 minutes. I love that this place is super close to us as well and Kathy can almost always get us in when we need. They take care of my girls when they get special treatment for their bdays or other special events. Kathy has always helped our elementary school with gift certificates to raise money for good causes. The massage after my gel pedicure was my favorite part because she took her time and assured that I was enjoying my experience. The only thing I'd have to complain about would be the fact that we made an appointment for 4 pedicures for a certain time and they basically took us as a walk in because they were so busy.
