This is a food truck, so no points for ambiance. The chili crisp chicken sandwich is possibly the best chicken sand I've ever had. It's not too spicy, but enough that if you don't like it, stay away. Eat it quickly and enjoy that crispy crust, and delicious bread. Another thing to note is that it wasn't so messy that it was hard to eat on a bench outside. I am always in search of good halal fried chicken so I was very excited to finally catch the Impeckable Chicken truck this week! I got the Sweet n' Spicy Chicken Sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. The large piece of fried chicken thigh was juicy, crunchy and covered in a delicious sauce. The sandwich also came with yummy battered fries. A bit pricey for a lunch sandwich but you get a lot for what you pay for. I chose the comeback sauce with my fires and highly recommend it. So thankful for this amazing halal option in the Seattle area. Note that only two of their sandwiches are halal (they are indicated on the menu) and they also have bacon on the menu. Well, I don't think much went well on this journey, but I'll try to filter out everything that isn't the fault of the business. First, we were at Jet City Harley before we decided to head out. We could have got on 167 north, connected to 405-then 90, but the fastest route is actually to head over the hill to 18 and backdoor it directly to Snoqualmie. After that trek, we got on 18, only to be forced off the next exit which started the long 25 mph romp along Issaquah Hobart Road. In short, it took close to an hour to make it to this Snoqualmie location. Had we just got on 167, we probably would have arrived 20 minutes earlier, of did I mention I was pushing 90 degrees as well? Finally, here, the line moved slow. Between the confusion in packing orders and not paying enough attention to customers placing orders, it just wasn't efficient. In addition, we had checked the website and it didn't explain items well enough. I planned to have popcorn chicken and fries. Website describes popcorn chicken as spicy. Makes sense, most chicken places have a spicy formula. On the truck, they advised it was Curry Popcorn Chicken. Well, I don't like curry, so that was out. The site also shoes a natural cut fry. What they served were bread coated fries, another item, I don't care for. I ended up getting the regular sandwich. It was crisp, it was juicy, but there was nothing special about the flavor. In addition, I would have loved tomato and onion on my sandwich, but they did not offer it. After a couple bites, I was just not impressed, so my dog ended up getting a $20 meal is her bowl. Again, instead of a 30 ride home, it ended up being almost an hour, because 18 was closed from Snoqualmie to Maple Valley for reasons I don't understand. Truth be told, Popeyes, KFC and others do a better job on their chicken sandwich. My advised to Impeckable would be ditch the breaded fries, YUCK! And offer tomato and onion to compliment your bird. I didn't find this ridiculously long trip to be worth my time or money and if they happened to stop on my block, I still wouldn't pull over. If you go to their website you can click on locations & you get their schedule for the week- so when we saw they were going to be at No Boat Brewery we were excited to go as we love No Boat too! Hands down the best chicken sandwich I've had in years. There are some other decent chicken sandwiches available in Seattle: Ezells is "ok" for example, and lots of places have chefy versions which do have a place. But this is an absolutely excellent execution of the core stuff that makes a great chicken sandwich awesome: Juicy, beautifully seasoned chicken in a borderline absurdly crunchy batter, gorgeously soft bun, decadent home made mayo, pickles, iceberg. Every component is perfect. We tried three different versions--spicy, sweet and spicy, and the original. All awesome, but imho, when you do a truly perfect original chicken sandwich, you'd don't need anything else. Put it this way: I followed them on Instagram before I was halfway done. I'd drive 50 miles for this sandwich. Sides are ok: Fries are good. They were sold out of the slaw and potato salad so we didn't try those. Sweet potato tots are only "ok". Popcorn chicken included a dusting of curry powder in the breading and was probably the favorite "side" we ordered (if you can consider a big heap of fried chicken a side). They also have a nice selection of sauces--comeback sauce being the favorite at our table. But let's be real, the main event is a 1,500 calorie chicken sandwich, and holy shit, what a sandwich. read more

I've tried both the original "impeckable" and the spicy, and even though I love spicy foods, the spicy one is a bit too messy for me and the original is just SOO good. The batter is light fluffy, and crunchy without being extremely oily, covering a thick piece of juicy chicken. Paired with just the right amount of Mayo, lettuce, and pickles, the sandwich is a masterpiece. The fries are also some of the best I've had, flaky and crispy on the outside but still soft on the inside. Not overly salty and soggy like Dick's fries, more similar to McDonalds fries, but better somehow. The truck comes to my work every week, and even though I could work remotely, I come to office almost just for the sandwich. Even though I normally gravitate towards spicy chicken sandwiches, the gentleman taking my order steered me towards the original sandwich, since it was my first experience with them. It's kind of like judging a pizza joint by their ability to do a good plain ol' cheese pizza. The sandwich was monstrous and extremely delicious. Crispy outside, moist chicken inside, good pickles, great bun, and just the right amount of mayo. The fries were fantastic, too, though I think they could have used a bit of salt. At $17.63 total including tax and tip, it is a bit pricey, but it's a pretty large quantity of food. I'd recommend splitting it with someone if you can.
