Our first visit here, it's a great place with loads of beer options & beautiful/cozy/woodsy vibe. Quick & friendly service, lots of various beers on tap including a few stouts, 3-4 seats at the small bar, several indoor tall tables, some outdoor picnic table seating, merch, and a hidden shuffleboard off to the side. By 2p on a Wednesday several people were here so that's a good sign. About 20 various beer styles on tap with more options in a cooler... awesome. Take your checkers, chess, or other board game of choice & have a fun afternoon with great beers. Definitely a brewery to revisit when we're in town... and we'll bring friends next time

If I did not order food, this would have been a 5 star review, just like their location in Sparks. Quality/Quantity - Beer = 6 stars!! So good that I definitely drank more than I should have. Good thing I had a designated driver! I had the following: #7 Freshy Pow, American IPA #9 Playa Dust, New England IPA #11 Golden Child, #12 Affogato Cream Ale - A MUST try!! Wow the flavors are so rich and good. #16 Marion Berry Pie Crust - Wild Ale, I am not typically a sweet or fruity beer drinker but wanted to try this flavor, and again a MUST try. The complex flavors are amazing in this beer. #18 Sweater Weather - Marzen, always a favorite of mine. They did not have any reds today, so this is my go-to when there are no reds. This was lighter and more hoppy than expected, and I mean that in a positive way. Sorry, I can NOT recommend the food. The bun for my wurst was just not edible... I suggest getting a steamer rather than toasting the bun. It would have been better just eating the bun out of the bag. Fries were okay, but like many places, never enough... In summary, definitely come here for the beer!! Atmosphere - Small local brewery. By the looks of all the barrels, you can tell the owners are very passionate about their business. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating (too cold these days to drink outdoors). Small parking lot, but plenty of spaces. Open 7 days a week from 1pm to 8pm or 10pm, see Yelp. Service - Good. My only suggestion is that breweries should put our flight in the order it should be drunk, not in the sequence the customers orders. The good news is that I have so much experience, I can determine which beers to drink first and which ones last. The best breweries do this for their customers. Price - $26 + tip Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2015 with your two locations.

What a burping delicious 6 years for me visiting this location. Time sure flew but improvements are noted. 20 beer taps and a wonderful variety of styles. Also, a bunch of large specialty bottles, cans and ciders. Parking in their lot and street. They expanded their seating back left and they also have outdoor seating. Very generous with their "tastings"! Mahalo!

Cool brewery. IMBIB is one of the many east of downtown. Lots of interesting beers to choose from. Good atmosphere. There's a patio if you don't want to be inside. It seems like sour is a specialty here. Lots of these are on the beer menu. This isn't a bad thing. More sours are needed in this area. This is an underrated style of beer and it's different than common styles. It's refreshing to drink a sour when it's hot. Kind of like drinking a lemonade or something like that but it's hoppy too. I came with the girl the last time and we tried a few. They were all good enough to get the next time. I liked the Freshy Pow IPA. It's $6 for a pint. This is a West Coast style IPA with aromatic and bitter hops, and made with amarillo and citrus to give it a spice. Another one we liked was the Mango Mist-ery Machine. This a collaboration between The Brewer's Cabinet and them. If you like mango you should try it. This is a hazy style IPA that's hoppy and sweet. Has a patio which is a nice place for having a beer. It's in an area with some older homes and doesn't have a lot going on. There's no food here but there's a Jimboy's across the street, so you can get tacos from there.

What a fun place to hangout during the day! It's got a simple open area by the bar then you head out into the brewing area and you find a plethora of games for recreation while you libate and possibly imbibe because you're having too much fun from either the games, the company, or the beer. I'm typically not an IPA person, and this place has a majority of them. There is nothing wrong with that, there is something wrong with me. Go check this place out cause you'll be missing out on multiple year award winning custom brews!

How? How is this even possible? How have I not reviewed one of my all-time favorite breweries in our entire region? For shame! I stopped drinking beer years ago (health reasons) but it doesn't mean I've stopped TASTING it. And when I do settle in to taste some local beer, my palate always pushes me toward IMBIB. Why? IMBIB hits the sweet (and sour) spot for me. They produce beers in old world styles of brewing, those rich in history and technique, that drive the modern brewing scene we enjoy today. While staying true to forms, they are always finding exciting ways to put their own touch on them. I am particularly fond of their Berliner Weisses, especially those featuring local seasonal fruit, their Flemmish sour, and many of their one off experimentals. They put the time in to develop these recipes, and the results show. Multiple big wins at GABF for them, shows they're loved far beyond our little community here. IMBIB is also one of the breweries that have taken COVID precautions to the extreme. They care so much about our community it hurts, and are constantly giving of themselves! Now's our turn. ORDER ONLINE. CURBSIDE PICKUP. DRINK LOCAL.

Great place on 2nd to kick back with quality brews. IMBĪB is hidden between town and midtown on 2nd right near Wells Street. Great award winning brews in a wonderful brick building. Try the flights of five brews to figure out what beer you like best. From oatmeal stout with nitro foam, a delightful IPA that's not over the top hoppy (microdust), to smooth pilsners and autumn ales-it's all a beer aficionado could desire. Foosball and other games to play. Thursday is TrIvia night and Monday happy hour has special prices. Growler and Crowler fans have rather inexpensive choices for most selections. If you want a large pretzel with mustard, it is grand! Also, ImBIB serves pepperoni and cheese pizzas in case you want a meal too. Great ambiance, wonderful service and industrial vibe! Try ImBIB! You won't be disappointed.

I am traveling for work and decided to walk from a nearby hotel to this brewery to check out their sour beer offerings. I came in on a non-busy Tuesday evening and had a table to myself to read. The bartender was very nice and helpful. I tried both the Cherry Apricot Mango sour as well as the Peach Sour (cannot remember the actual menu names) and both were absolutely divine. I am a sour beer fanatic and only drink sours so I was glad to find some options in Reno. would highly recommend this place.

I cane to spend the night in Sparks to visit a very dear friend. On my way into town I stopped by this awesome little brewery to try their gold medal winning sour. It is located just off the freeway in downtown Reno. The taproom itself is an intimate one. They have utilized the space they have very well. It was cozy for sure. The had a shuttle board table that I messed with for a bit. They have a bar with about 8/10 seats. Sorry I didn't count. Around the corner of the bar they have a few barrel tables with chairs nicely arranged The beer I tried was the sour. It did not disappoint. I was on a time crunch to check into Hotel so I bounced after the first beer. Discipline yo!! If you have not stopped in here and are by the area do yourself a solid and come in and support local beer. It shall not disappoint When back in the area I will most definitely stop in again Thanks for having me! Cheers!

Amazing beers brewed in house! I normally don't like sours, but imbib is different. These barrel aged spurs taste more natural than the commercial beers that have additives. The people are nice, the ambiance is chill. And there are some small bites. We had some delicious empanadas today.

Lovin the sours brewed here
Matt H.

Found this brewery during a work trip in Reno and was impressed with their lines of beers. I found they did quite a bit of sours, which happens to be my favorite, and they did not disappoint. The bar seats are perfect to enjoy your beer, while looking out into the brew room and chatting with the workers. It's the perfect time to meet new people and chat about favorite brews and spots thru out the country. IMBIB features several of their awards and trophies for their brews, and once you try their beer, you'll see why. Would definitely visit here again next time I'm in Reno.

Ask the Community - IMBĪB Custom Brews

Do they serve food?

We have a small snack bar menu that includes bratwurst, fries, pretzels, chicken tenders, and cookies. This is not a full kitchen/restaurant so service is limited when there are large parties or events.

Do they allow outside food in this establishment?

yes

Are they dog friendly at all?

Due to Washoe County Health Department regulations only service animals are allowed in the brewery at this time.

I did not know it was Tuesday as we went to Lake Tahoe AleWorX Reno first and they are closed on Tuesdays (and closed Mondays)... Well good for Lead Dog. All my buddies have been inviting me to come on Sundays for their live bands. I hope to visit on a Sunday soon. Since there was no Tahoe AleworX, we decided to go to Fox Brewery after Lead Dog; sadly see other Yelp review... Anyway, we each got the Lead Dog Left for Red which was good, but I think it could have been colder. Nothing a glass of ice can not fix. And now with the Parley's relationship/partnership/merger, we have more beer options! BTW, both beers are also available at Costco. :) Happy hour; $2 off pints. Ambiance - Decent size place. Small shared parking lot, with the winery. But plenty of street parking. Well, today is a Tuesday... Bar, indoor and outdoor seating, also a lounge area. Pigeon Head Brewery is a true gem. Been telling people for years that anyone looking for good beer…read moreshould have this place near the top of their list. They specialize in lagers, but over the years their menu has expanded to include all sorts of other styles. Suffice to say, you're going to find something you love here. Some of my perpetual favorites are their Pilsner, which is a very good easy-drinking beer. Add to that selections like their delicious Black Lager, their very outstanding Silver Sage Pale Ale, and their delicious Jalapeno/Habanero beer. And don't skip out on any of their seasonal brews, either, as the crew here are always cooking up something new and exciting to try. Plus, they have a fair portion of their menu available in cans to-go, and can do growlers and growlers to order. I also just love the vibe and energy at this place. It's very chill, cozy, and friendly in the extreme. Between the fantastic staff and the cadre of regulars, it has that real "local pub" sort of feel to it. You can hang out, play a few bar games, watch whatever sport is on the TV, or go sit outside in their wonderful beer garden if the weather is nice. All this ism plus they have events on a semi-regular basis like bar trivia, food-and-beer pairings, Grateful Dead night, or food truck pop-ups. So keep your eyes on their online calendars. Prices for everything are pretty much on par with other breweries and craft bars in town, starting around $8 per pint. There is no real food available here betond a selection of chips, nuts, and admittedly excellent beef jerky. But there are some food options fairly close by to either walk to or get delivered. Parking is usually pretty easy, too, either in their small lot or in street spaces. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Pigeon Head is my favorite brewery in our region. I've been a fan of them for years, and I hope more folks can discover them as well. In the last year or so, I really feel the energy of the Brewery District has shifted east to land along the Wells Ave corridor, with these guys being one of my favorite frequent haunts. Anyone looking for good beers and good vibes should come check them all out. Cheers, all!

I don't think a place of business should be sending out texts encouraging people to purchase a specific product that is not currently offered and that's exactly what Revision did. What a waste of peoples' time. Unsubscribed in disappointment and frustration. Social media director, take note! Another complaint is that they have now become "family friendly". I do not want to go to a brewery for adult beverages and end up having to listen to children screaming and running about. They are also no longer allowing outside food to be brought in because they have on site food, serving pizza and hot dogs. We tried a pizza on our last visit, $21 for a large 3 meat which is big enough for 2 adults. Pizza was meh, 3 stars, definitely could have used more toppings. We were thankful it did come out fresh. So I NEEDED a break from the day to just relax and stop thinking! I gave my wife a few options, a few breweries to choose from (or for me to just go alone, which she would not have let me drink and drive, especially all the way from North Reno). So she/we chose to go to Slieve as I have not been there yet. Actually, all 3 choices were breweries. The good news is that there are more and more new breweries opening. The bad news is that there are more and more good breweries closing, in ALL my hometowns... My first time in a nano brewery; cool. Today I got (and tried the following), all Slieve brands; support local: Oh, I did not know you had a happy hour M-F from 2-5pm; I just missed it by 13 minutes... Should not have spent so much time outside taking pictures for Yelp, lol. Pale Ale - Good, but I prefer more flavor. This is currently my second "go to" beer after reds. Jimbo Porter - Better, but then I tried the Cookie Monster! I also did not taste the coconut. Cookie Monster - My favorite of the beers, so much flavor. And I am NOT usually a sweet beer drinker. It was not an overwhelming stout, probably due to the sweetness, but you can definitely taste the chocolate and slightly coffee and caramel flavors. I would get this again, but it would always have to be my last beer due to the flavors. Beers that I need to come back for when available are: Your reds, IPAs and of course your "Trinity Tripel." Ambiance - On your "about" page on your website, it says you are still looking for a home for your brewery...? Is that accurate or does that page need to be updated? Cool space, indoor and outdoor seating. Bar and table seating. 2 bars, one the back, probably only used for events. Semi private room when you walk in. Ping pong, darts, games, cornhole, cool decor on walls throughout to read, etc. Open 7 days a week, see their website. Yelp's hours/days differ slightly. Event spaces are available; see their website.. Service - Good. We were also greeted by Shannon when she and Phillip came in later for a drink or two... Phillip was too busy drinking to say hi, lol. Price - $8 a beer. The typical cost for good craft beer.
