I decided to treat myself, the other caregiver, and my mom (the person we take care of), with donuts! I have heard many good things about Sprinkle and finally got a chance to try it! I ordered through GrubHub. I chose a half dozen and let the store pick which donuts we get. I figured they could surprise me, and they did! I got 7 donuts ! And the variety was great (see photo). We each got 2, mom got 3. I had the twist and fruity pebble. I absolutely LOVED this twist! I usually don't get those because they aren't good. But Sprinkle Donuts made me a fan! They make them fluffy! And the fruity pebbles wasn't too sweet! It tasted like a bowl of cereal AND a donut! I was told the other donuts were great, as well! They make daily fresh bread. We got an Iced Vietnamese coffee which was super strong. I drink Vietnamese coffee often and very familiar but this, this was stronger than a typical Viet coffee. So strong that a headache kicked in immediately and only drank 1/4 of the cup. Also got a matcha cloud which consist of coconut water and a creamy matcha foam. First sip, sweet and creamy. Barely tasted the matcha. For pastries we got the chocolate croissant, pain suisse and a Kouign Amann. The Kouign amann was different, it was in a shape of a bar and had multiple flaky layers. Tasted like a palmier cookie. Everything was delicious. The lines can be long and we were told if you just want drinks, walk next door to Perenn Grocery and they can make the drinks quickly to avoid the lines. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

When I walked in to the shoppe, they were devoid of customers, but the snell of freshly made donuts filled the air, and display case full of tempting delights; so, I immediately stepped up to the counter and order an apple fritter and a small coffee. The proprietress was super-nice and pleasant; she welcomed me as soon as I walked in and rang up my order with a smile. The apple fritter was huge, I thought I would be able to finish it but ended up saving half for later. Overall, my dining experience was pleasant, the donut was fresh, the coffee was good, the service was great and the price very reasonable: less than $5 for everything including tip; I don't know how this place isn't more popular.
