Burrito bowl
Richard C.

We were close to the first ones in for lunch. It was very clean and they had some good tunes playing. I ordered the burrito bowl, my usual, and it was very tasty. Plenty of veggies, delicious pork, and sprinkled with cheese guacamole. They added a tortilla that was one of the best that I've ever had. Great food, great service, and great atmosphere.

Came for a bowl and a drink for dinner. It was absolutely delicious I like them better than chipotle imo. This bowl had no chance lol Service was great and the ambiance is amazing. Very lively and vibrant.

Carnitas Bowl with corn and guacamole

A very good, quick and conveniently located Mexican place. Staff is friendly, food has good flavor and seasonings, and there is usually some type of metal playing. Only a short walk from the University as well. (A lot better than the chipotle down the block.) Nothing exceptional as far as Denver Mexican is concerned but it makes up for that in many other areas.

My wonderful Steak Burrito was actually a rice and corn burrito

The person cooking is not qualified to cook. The chicken tastes as if it was seasoned with ice and lettuce. We are literally picking Up a piece of chicken.. trying it on its own and we can't taste ANYTHING. it's like we have covid again because it's just texture. No flavor. Was this boiled chicken ??? Absolute TRASH. we literally brought it home and gave it to the dog. I even put a little cinnamon in it for him so he can taste something. 0 out of 5 stars.

We were visiting Denver for the weekend and had to make a visit to Illegal Pete's! With Chipotle being as big as they are, we wanted to check out what Illegal Pete's was about and see the differences. Few differences I noticed: - Illegal Pete's had a bar in the restaurant - Chips are included in the burrito or bowl order - Portion size was smaller - Wasn't as flavorful Overall, it was good and was very similar to Chipotle.

Fantastic late night burritos after touring some craft breweries. It's like Chipotle on acid. Will definitely be back.

The family brunch I organized here is one of my favorite family memories. I made a reservation on…read moreOpenTable, and I ended up needing to increase the number of people to 8 a few days before the reservation. Accommodating our party was no problem. My mom, who usually scoffs at fancy restaurants and their fancy prices, absolutely loved her $10 ginger sunrise juice drink (I made her get it) and said that her sweet corn eggs benedict ($19) was one of the best things she's ever eaten. Our server Julie did an amazing job taking care of our party, some of whom arrived on time and some of whom didn't. The 20% large party gratuity was well-earned. I loved that the restaurant being connected to the hotel meant that the lobby was a beautiful space for those of us who got there early to gather and for us to all chat before we went our separate ways. Many of us were enthralled by the Moët & Chandon vending machine in the lobby, as well as the super cool "fire in a glass box" art piece. I had the $19 chicken philly skillet, which was tasty, but my family members who got the $29 steak and eggs knew what they were doing. My husband, who is incredibly picky about bacon, thought his $6 side of bacon with his $18 buttermilk pancakes was perfectly cooked and not overly seasoned. Thinking about this family meal makes my heart smile. Thanks to the Corinne staff for making it delightful.

This is a fine spot in a hotel downtown, sure, but yikes the pricing was totally out of control!!!…read more Brunch, you know simple cheap stuff like eggs and potatoes, was $130 for TWO people. I don't think I've ever spent more on brunch in my life. Yeah, we got a couple drinks, too. Thank goodness it was my partner's bday and we got the dessert for free. A fine place, but be ready to thin your wallet if you choose it! I wouldn't go again for that reason. I'd find another brunch spot where I can spend $100 or less. Which is still A TON for brunch!!! Restaurants complain so much about business, but then price it to the point where they get less business. What's gotta give? Hotels have the luxury of being more expensive since they have people staying & paying on the company dollar. But, I didn't pick the spot, and I got a bougiea$$ partner! Lol.

The staff was super friendly and helpful despite being overwhelmed by a very large party while I was there. They take their time making the drink because they clearly want you to enjoy them. The Mac and cheese was some of the best I've had at a restaurant. I really enjoyed the lollipop chicken. Not overcooked and sauced nicely. It seems like it could be a quiet spot for a meal and/or cocktail whenever there is not a convention in town.

Location (4 stars) This restaurant is downtown near the convention center. parking is pricy if you valet park at the hotel. Last year it was around $40. Parking in the lot across the street for $25 dollars Easter Sunday. If you use a walker, I would not recommend the parking lot across the street. Food (3 Stars) The Thanksgiving buffet is the best one. I would rate that buffet a (4). The Christmas and Easter buffet are pretty low key. There is a carving station (ham and prime rib). There is an omelet station. Dessert bar is decorative. Cheesecake was delicious. The warming station with potatoes, sausage etc. leaves much to be desired. The charcuterie station is sparse. They offer unlimited mimosas for an additional $25. Service (5 stars) Staff are extremely friendly. Cleanliness (2 stars) My only complaint, I saw a tabletop being cleaned off with a rag used to clean the chairs and then under the table on the floor and on to the next tabletop. I'm just a little picky about that. Especially since folks these days go commando and wear short attire, and you know their parts are on the chair and now spread to tabletops. Wiping up the crumbs off the floor with same rag simply through me over the edge. Atmosphere (4 stars) Spacious uncrowded environment. Nice decor. Bright with large windows.

It was a well made drink and surprisingly came out warm reminding us of a hot chocolate in a way. Food wise my wife got a savory crepe with bacon and mozzarella while I got the Breakfast Burrito. It was an average burrito, tasty but nothing mind blowing. My wife enjoyed her crepes but again nothing overly outstanding. Overall service was solid and the food was good enough that we would return.

A valuable lesson about not showing up hungry during peak business hours was learned, so the next two visits worked out much better. My daughter and I wanted to share a couple of things and asked the server if she thought it was weird if we ordered the stuffed French toast and the tuna melt from the Fancy Toast menu. Dumb question of course to which she responded if you think it sounds good go for it. Indeed we did; and the tuna melt was the star of the show! As much as I felt compelled to order the same thing on my 2nd visit, I asked the server if I should try the honey smoked salmon instead. She said they are both very good but she personally favors the tuna! It was early and she did say that with the eggs it was more breakfasty. I gave the salmon a chance, and enjoyed it very much. I am still thinking about the tuna melt though so next time I have to have it! On the second visit, from the For the Homies Menu we also tried the Spicy Egg Salad on Crispy Potato and the Sausage Roll and Spicy Maple. For $3 a piece why not? Other things you should know--this place is cute, cozy, tiny and LOUD inside but if the weather is nice there is a patio where you can more easily converse and double fist your coffee and Good Morning Rita.
