The Chorizo Skillet: This was a huge plate. They offer choices for egg preparation, potato type, and either tortillas (flour or corn) or toast. The added vegetables were a nice touch. I enjoyed the skillet. Chilie Verde Omelet: Another huge serving! The chile verde was cooked to perfection (they specialize in chili verde) and was overflowing with sauce. The plate came with a large portion of beans that were yummy! This plate comes with choice of toast or tortillas. Not sure if the tortillas are homemade, but they were really good. The only drawbacks were the somewhat slow service and the prices, which are a bit high. However, the generous portion sizes compensate for the cost. A few minutes later the onion rings of my dreams (super crispy on the outside and a real onion rings inside with enough crunch left that you can bite through without dragging a soggy onion out of its outer shell, so each mouthful is both onion and crunchy coating) arrived and a sandwich with crispy (not soggy, underdone) bacon, hefty burger patty (done just how I like them with carmelized edges and perfectly done thick center) with cheese, pickles, red onions, lettuce and mayo. I asked them to leave off the tomato due to my food allergies. The bun was soft but held up well to the heft of the sandwich. The decor was classic 60's style diner. While the seats were well padded and the covering looked practically new, some of the tables showed the wear of the years on the corners. There is also a short lunch counter next to the kitchen. What really caught my attention is the staff seemed to know most of the guests and greeted them by name as they came and went and inquired into different aspects of their lives.
