    Kids Breakfast

We pass but this location all all the time as we go to work and go to school and such. The outside of the location doesn't scream come in but the staff were super friendly and welcoming from the moment we came into the building. The food menu is a tad overwhelming, hard to pick any one item to eat but we did the Birria Tacos, the Beef Flautas and a child's breakfast with chips and salsa. The Tacos - They didn't have a ton of flavor, I'm sure every recipe is different. The limes were dried up minus a few drops, I've had them from several different places not a top 3. The Flautas - come with rice and beans, my wife doesn't do beans often so we asked for extra rice only to be told they don't have Spanish rice, instead have white rice. So we skipped sides. The kids breakfast was unremarkable. I'm not sure we will return but to fill the hallow spot in your stomach in a pinch.

On a road trip and wanted a place for breakfast. Saw this on the map close to where we were driving and decided to try something local and not a crappy chain restaurant. Please don't judge a restaurant on its outside, there can be great stuff on the inside. And that is exactly what we got. Small mom and pop place known to the locals. They have a terrific menu with something for everyone. I had their Green chile carnitas Chilaquiles with two over easy eggs. Hearty and delicious. The husband got two eggs, a ton of hash browns two large homemade sausage patties and white toast. We both enjoyed our breakfast and the good service. Don't pass it up, if its breakfast time they're open.

This place lives up to all the hype as one of the best breakfast joints in the area, with huge portions, friendly service, and that cozy local vibe. I started with the chocolate cream drink (their rich, creamy hot chocolate or chocolate milk variation--whatever it exactly is, it's indulgent!). It was perfectly sweet without being overpowering, super smooth and velvety, topped just right. If you're a chocolate lover, this hits the spot and pairs amazingly with breakfast. Not too heavy, but definitely satisfying. For my main, I went with the famous Rosebud breakfast, and I can see why it's a favorite for so many people. It's a hearty, loaded plate with eggs, meats, potatoes, and all the classic fixings done exceptionally well. Everything was cooked perfectly--fluffy eggs, crispy edges where needed, and those fresh country potatoes were addictive. The portions are generous; I couldn't finish it all and definitely didn't need lunch afterward! The staff was quick, welcoming, and the place was buzzing with locals. If you're in Gilroy and craving a solid, no-fuss breakfast with standout items like the Rosebud and a great chocolate drink, OD's Kitchen is a must-visit. Highly recommend--I'll be back soon! 5/5 stars

I can say, without hesitation, that this was the second worst Chicken Fried Steak I've ever had in my life. The breading completely came off the steak. The steak was thin and WAY over cooked. It was tougher than shoe leather. I could barely cut it with the steak knife, and it gave my jaw a helluva workout trying to chew that thing. And the gravy was terrible. So thin, I could see the steak right through it. It looked like a glazed donut. That's how thin the gravy was. Then, I asked for EXTRA crispy hash browns. They weren't even regular crispy, let alone EXTRA crispy. The eggs and the English muffin were fine. It's hard to mess up those things. The service was fine, but the kitchen COMPLETELY dropped the ball. I drove all the way from Santa Clara, thinking about the great CFS they used to have. Wasting all that gas, for one of the worst breakfasts I've had in a long, long time. smh

Another sign states that Betsy's has been serving this community since 1981. I was greeted immediately upon entering and advised to "just sit anywhere." I grabbed the first booth I encountered and was brought water and menu right away. The waitress took my order of a bacon cheeseburger and onion rings ($16.50). A few minutes later the onion rings of my dreams (super crispy on the outside and a real onion rings inside with enough crunch left that you can bite through without dragging a soggy onion out of its outer shell, so each mouthful is both onion and crunchy coating) arrived and a sandwich with crispy (not soggy, underdone) bacon, hefty burger patty (done just how I like them with carmelized edges and perfectly done thick center) with cheese, pickles, red onions, lettuce and mayo. I asked them to leave off the tomato due to my food allergies. The bun was soft but held up well to the heft of the sandwich. The decor was classic 60's style diner. While the seats were well padded and the covering looked practically new, some of the tables showed the wear of the years on the corners. There is also a short lunch counter next to the kitchen. What really caught my attention is the staff seemed to know most of the guests and greeted them by name as they came and went and inquired into different aspects of their lives. This personal touch reflects what seems to be a long-time relationship with dedicated customers. Parking is close to the door. This place was a little hard for me to find as it is behind the bowling alley at Tennant Station Shopping center, but was well worth the effort to locate and enjoy. I will be returning in the future!!

When he visited his parents recently they had talked about MoHi and when they visited downtown, he saw the restaurant and automatically knew we needed to try it. We travel everywhere with our dogs and he found out that they had a dog friendly patio. A few months later, we were in town and decided to try it for breakfast. There were not a lot of reviews or pictures of breakfast so he made it a point to order some items recommended by our server, Ty - who was phenomenal by the way. Always checked in on us and even complimented how nice and chill our doggy was. We ordered a vanilla latte, orange juice, the breakfast pizza, and the eggs Benedict. The breakfast pizza came highly recommended by Ty. On paper it sounded delicious, but we were still reluctant, because a breakfast pizza? It was delicious, lol. They have a sauce on there that is very similar to what In-N-Out uses and the farm fresh eggs and cheese brought everything together. I decided to try the eggs benedict because the English muffin is scratch-made. The benedict was savory with confit potatoes and fruit. The only thing that threw me off was the fresh fruit was tossed in a pesto dressing. I can definitely do sweet and savory, and all the other weird, eclectic mixes, but this one was just too different for me. The orange juice was a highlight because they literally squeeze it right in front of you at the bar. They have other mixes that they can do as well like orange carrot or orange strawberry. So make sure you ask what is on the menu for fresh squeezed fruits because this one you don't wanna miss Outside there are at least 20 tables with dog friendly written all over the patio area. They have water bowls, turf, and even a cute little fire hydrant. There was a doggy on the patio already who was well-behaved. Overall, we'd be back to try the rest of the breakfast menu!

The rest of our group arrived around 6:20 PM. We usually enjoy MOHI Farm and were just there the previous week for Mother's Day, where we had a very good experience. When we first sat down, we initially received some attention and ordered drinks. However, once the rest of our party arrived, there was no acknowledgment for quite some time. I eventually had to get up and locate our waitress, Sophia, to place drink and food orders as the children were becoming hungry and restless. To avoid further delays, I ordered drinks, appetizers, and entrées all at once because we were concerned it would take additional time before we could place another order. While we understand food can take time for a larger party, the delay with drinks was concerning. After waiting a long time, I noticed our drinks sitting unattended at the bar and walked over to retrieve them myself. Another staff member stopped me and then brought the drinks to the table. Once the food arrived, we have been checked barely checked on. Empty plates accumulated to the point where we moved dishes ourselves onto a nearby table to create space. We also had to flag staff down again to request dessert menus for the birthday celebration. I had to walk toward the front/check-in area to get someone's attention. Overall, we were there from approximately 6 PM until around 8:30 PM. Much of that time was spent waiting -- to place orders, receive drinks, request dessert menus, receive desserts, and request basic items such as spoons. It appeared there may have been floor management or staffing issues that night. Had expectations been communicated in advance, such as delays or understaffing, the experience may have felt different. Our table spent approximately $450 that evening, and an automatic 19% gratuity was added due to party size. We expressed concerns regarding the level of service and asked whether the gratuity could be adjusted, but were told it could not be removed because of restaurant policy for larger parties. There was also confusion regarding splitting the bill. We were initially told the check could not be split, although we had done so during a previous visit with a similarly sized group. The bill was eventually split after additional discussion. This review is strictly regarding the service experience, not the food itself. We have consistently enjoyed the food, drinks and atmosphere at MOHI Farm, which is why this visit stood out. We hope management reviews what happened that evening, including table management and service flow, as there appeared to be a clear disconnect throughout the night.

We drove over 20 miles just to pick up a birthday cake for my son because we have been longtime customers ever since their older location on the other side of Morgan Hill. Their cakes have always been amazing, full of flavor, fresh, moist, and very reasonably priced for the quality you get. While we were there, I decided to try their coffee and I believe the espresso was Tilly brand, and wow it was excellent. I also had one of their cinnamon rolls and it was honestly to die for. Soft, fresh, full of flavor, and one of the best pastries I've had in a long time. What really made the experience even better was the staff. Everyone was super nice, polite, welcoming, and very professional. You can tell they truly care about their customers. Their boss should definitely give them a raise because great customer service like that is hard to find nowadays. The ladies working there were very nice and helpful. I ordered 8 breakfast burritos for my family and we sat outside on the patio. When we first sat down, the table was dirty and I accidentally got water on myself, but one of the girls quickly came outside and cleaned the table for us right away, which I appreciated. She even had the chef come sweep the area, so they definitely tried to make things right and were attentive to customer service. The patio area was actually really nice with plenty of seating and a family-friendly atmosphere. They even had games outside for kids like Connect 4 and Legos, which was a nice touch for families waiting or eating outside. The inside was packed, but the outdoor seating made it more enjoyable. We ordered the Breakfast Burrito with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, country potatoes, scallions, and cheddar cheese in a whole wheat tortilla. The food was delicious and the burritos were packed with ingredients and very filling. Overall, despite the long wait and noise level, I'd still come back because the staff was kind and the food was worth it.
