5 stars all around. Bonus stars if I could for the server bringing out heated syrup "because it tastes better warm", she said. And you know what? She was right. The place was clean, quiet, and cozy. The food was excellent. By far the BEST ihop we've ever dined in. I wish it was local. We are from Mobile, and stopped in on the way home from New Orleans. read more

We arrived here just after 7:00am and we were the only ones here, which surprised us. Our local IHOP is usually half filled at 7:00am. Our server was excellent! We had a great conversation with her while we waited on our food. My wife order the 2+2+2 meal, with 2 eggs scrambled, 2slices of bacon, and two pancakes. Her eggs were cooked perfectly as she is picky about having her scrambled eggs cooked well and not chopped up. I ordered the spicy pablano omelette with pancakes. This omelette is my go to when visiting an IHOP, and this one did not disappoint. It was perfect, as well as the pancakes. Our server was a joy! The restaurant was clean, including the bathrooms. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit to this IHOP and I am sure we will be visiting it again as we drive through Slidell often. read more

We usually come every Sunday and ask for the same server, Ms Kim. She knows our order by heart and is a very gracious even though it's hot as heck in the restaurant area. The summer is sweltering and the A/C in the restaurant can't keep up. They have added fans and pulled the shades down but it just not enough. We get to leave but the staff can't. I can't even begin to imagine what it's like for the cooks. Corporate IHOP should be ashamed of treating their employees this way. Bet if the corporate executives had to work under these conditions, things would change quickly. We all have choices and many of the regulars aren't coming back until the air is working. It may cost to fix the air but is it worth loosing your regulars and those that stop in and may never return because of the discomfort. IHOP corporate, think about your employees and patrons. I gave 3 stars for service and food only. If it would have been for the ambiance, I would rate it a 1 until the air is fixed. This is South Louisiana for gosh sakes. read more

Excellent service, safety was at the forefront and they done a great job! Food was hot and fresh. And the bathrooms were super clean. I've never seen public restrooms this clean! Seriously impressive. The base boards were clean. Everyone who assisted us had masks and were super friendly. One of the best experiences by far! read more

Dumbfounded. Asked for a "spicy poblano omelette," and the young man (who's also the host because they're severely understaffed) comes back and says, "We are out of egg whites, so we can't make omelettes." I asked if they had regular eggs, to which he replied, "Yes." I told him, "Ok, great! She (the chef) can make it with real eggs." He informed me she was new and couldn't cook an omelette from REAL eggs! Huh? I ordered an avocado toast with two eggs over easy (eggs perfectly cooked, mind you.) The food was fine, but I'm still shaking my head at the, "I can't make an omelette from real eggs," statement. I almost volunteered to show this young (chef) how to make an omelette from real eggs, but I opted to just say, "Bless her heart!" As I clutched my pearls... read more

Awful and unreliable service. Placed a to-go order for curbside pickup for 12pm. My husband went in at 12:05pm to check on the order and they said it would be another 5-10 minutes. After 40 minutes they said our order will be ready "soon"... still didn't have it after another 20 minutes. We left and never received our food after waiting over 90 minutes past the pick up time. Don't give your business to this IHOP. Awful experience and will never come back to this location again. read more

Greeted quickly by the hostess and walked over to a booth. Tables are blocked off for social distancing. Promptly greeted by our server, Shawn. Disposable menus as well as qr options are available. Shawn kept my coffee cup fresh and out food came out in a timely fashion and was all cooked to order. Overall a very good experience. Condiments and syrup served in proportioned cups as well. read more

I'll never come back. My french toast was raw. My hash browns were raw. The eggs tasted like they came out of a pint carton. The sausage tasted undercooked. I feel sick to my stomach from the french toast, which is probably because of the rawness- the raw eggs used to make it. I left most of my food, I could not continue to eat this. I will never come back to this IHOP or possibly any IHOP ever again. I am so disgusted. read more

I'm in Love with their hamburgers and their salads are great and are a meal in itself and taste great. You can't go wrong with many things on the menu. After I got a notification that my takeout order was almost finished. I walked inside they said it would be a few minutes, no problems there. After about 5 minutes they came back to me and said that it would be about another 10 minutes because they had not turned there cooler on. I don't understand why a restaurant that has been opened for an hour and a half and supposedly ready to serve people did not have their cooker on. Customers were waiting everywhere for assistance, at tables, waiting to be seated, trying to pay for their meals. The places was not even close to halfway full. read more

So I go to ihop on airport rd in Slidell: This is what happened: Me: can I get a new waffle this one is cold. Waitress: sure( as she walks off she mumbles I can't take this shyt this morning) calls out for a new waffle. Here's where it gets interesting: I watch this same waitress take a waffle from out of a togo container press her hand down on it and proceed to throw it in the dayum microwave heat the shyt up and put it on a plate and bring it to me. WTF. So I ask to see the manager and as I tell the manager what just happened she offered to go in the back and personally make me a new one. So when the manager brings out the new waffle I'm like naw let me just get the check I'm good. She then says do u want a togo box to take it home. Nope I'm not even hungry anymore. I went to iHop this morning to try one of their new French Toast creations. IHop's almost daily TV commercials have been very effective. Looking at the choices between two types of cream-filled donuts and an apple fritter and thinking that the fritter would be less in calories, I chose the fritter. The menu listed the contents: warm apple fritter dipped in vanilla French toast batter, griddled and topped with cinnamon apples, powdered sugar and whipped topping. It was very good. You should give it a try. read more

Was looking for a good burger and I sure found it. Think it was called their Brunch Burger. It had a fried egg on it along with cheese, bacon and potatoes and their IHOP sauce. It was awesome. Unfortunately, we're not coming back to this IHOP. Since the last time we were here, the quality in both the staff and food has taken a nosedive. The place was hardly busy and we had to wait nearly 45 minutes for our food to arrive. To add insult to injury, they removed one of our favorite items from the menu - the pot roast sandwich. If I want breakfast, I'll go to Waffle House. If I want lunch or dinner, ANY PLACE is better than this. read more

IHop frustrates me. I used to eat here all the time. Now it's only once in a great while. I don't like that every time I visit they have raised the prices and cut the portions. I get the breakfast sampler and the portions just get smaller and smaller. I about laughed when I saw the size of the bacon strips this last time. The sausage links are much more narrow than they used to be and the ham is about half of what you used to get. The serving of hash browns is also much smaller, yet the price is now up to $10.59. read more

I usually love IHOP, one of my favorite restaurants. But this one has failed me not once but twice. I ordered my meal through waitr about an hr ago and received an old burnt omelet, missing fruit, and no filling for my crepe. I contacted them asking if I could just bring the food in myself and they remake my omelet and give me what is missing and they said no I had to go through waitr. Tried contacting waitr and of course customer service was not open due to it being a Saturday. Needless to say, I wasted $40, I am currently hungry, and no longer eating at this restaurant. Please dine in or don't eat there at all, you'll be disappointed. read more

Food way to overpriced, staff not very friendly. 19.00 for French toast and glass of juice

Decided to have breakfast for dinner and what a mistake. The server was so rude, didn't refill our drinks, brought us the wrong food order after taking forever to bring out our meals. We had to ask for everything she didn't offer napkins or ask us if we needed anything. This was one of the worst dining out experiences iv had in a long time. Also the food was very bland and cold. When you think of IHOP you think of a place that can't really reinvent themselves. You figure they serve breakfast, and the buck stops shortly after that. But you're WRONG! The service here was absolutely rude. The host, was by far the worse part of the restaurant. Between the Obnoxious smacking of the gum to the eye roll and contact hand gestures into my face. To the disrespect of her laughing at a guest who spoke nothing but Spanish and proceed saying she is a woman of color why would she speak Spanish and just pointing to them to sit down. Or when a family of 2 asked how long the wait was she said it was 30 minutes but proceeded to sit the family that came in behind them of 4 right away. Oh did I mention there was no air conditioning. Lack of staff doesn't mean you get to be this disrespectful or rude. If it wasn't for my server MRS.KIM I would've walked out. She was the only staff member with her uniform on and worn properly with her shirt tuck in, hair pulled back, and a name tag. This place shouldn't be open until they learn how to respect there customers who keep the restaurant open. DISGUSTING read more

This is the third time I've been here and this place is a shit show. First time we went we waited an hour for a food. The kitchen staff broke out in a fist fight and the cops were called. Second time, they literally had no ingredients. This time, we waited over an hour for our food just to be told they couldn't find the ingredients to finish a dish.
