At noon, they still had a majority of breakfast items which I don't mind but hubby wasn't interested. The one isle of lunch items consisted of 10 things that didn't look appealing. A solid four star buffet. The staff keeps the buffet clean and well stocked. The tables were always cleaned off. There is definitely a lot of food to choose from. The stuffed flounder, peal and eat shrimp, prime rib, Mac n cheese, potatoes au gratin and fried pork chop were all really good. I wish I had room to try more food. First of all, it's pricey (like everything...I know) and you want to get your moneys worth. I never do. The food is "hit or miss" and more miss than hit. Servers are usually good and the ambiance....well it's usually crowded and loud. (It is in a casino.) Sometimes I get a comped meal and I can't complain then but $30+ ...no thanks. The mashed potatoes and gravy and sweet potato casserole in the Southern section are GREAT! (I'm from the Deep South, trust me on this!) I was excited to see they had a 'Mongolian BBQ' section, but it wasn't worth the wait -- the cook was inefficient and slow, and the food wasn't great. FOOD = Five Star. Mind you this isn't the Wynn, the Breakers on Palm Beach or the Four Seasons. That is a different kind of buffet experience. However, Biloxi B.R. receives 5 stars based on the quality of their food and the omelettes. There are two different omelette stations. One being traditional omelettes made in a pan located in the middle of the buffet. The second one located at the far end near that toast station and salad bar. Down there the omelettes are made with fresh whole eggs into a thin, crêpe style with your choice of fillings in the middle all cooked on a griddle flat top. And they have GOOD bacon! Thicker and well done, yet not burnt or fatty. Surprisingly decent biscuits for a buffet. I think I had THREE bacon biscuit sandwiches! Please don't tell! And GOOD coffee! SERVICE = Our waitress, Loan, was the best! She was always moving and following up. Bussed her own tables. When we inquired if we could take our coffee with us, she gave us to-go cups. Clearly, we tipped her accordingly for her service, efforts, and happy attitude. She deserved it, plus we found a few loose slots last night. We were feeling a little "extra" after bacon and coffee. The food wasn't good at all, I got mainly vegetables and a rib. And a salad. Everything was dried out. The salad was good. My husband got some fish, shrimp and fried crawfish. The only thing he said was cooked right was the fish. Our waitress came and brought us our drinks and we never seen her again. ( I still tipped) The chairs were extremely hard and even know there was plenty of seats closer to the buffet my husband has a brace and walks with cane mostly and was on this night. Updating from a year ago...the service is slow on drink refills. Sometimes they get so busy they just say "Get your own at the soda fountain," which is actually how I prefer it. The food is usually good, but it can be pretty "local." Alligator balls, chicken livers and gizzards, lots of cajun dishes can all be found along with classic buffet items. The fried chicken is excellent. Good catfish, nice salad bar, and lots of Southern tradition in everything they cook. I still forego the carving station as the quality isn't there, but right next to it is their new salisbury steak and mashed potatoes. My new favorite. You might find asparagus, fried Brussels sprouts, corn soufflé, shrimp, and other upscale choices. Soups, pizza, a Mongolian grill, an Asian cuisine section and huge dessert selection are daily items. If you do breakfast, they'll make you an omelette. We had lunch here yesterday (5/21/25). This buffet use to be the best in town.....NOT ANYMORE! Our server (Erica) was FANTASTIC and attentive! The overall food selection is limited. In the past there was pizza, chicken wings, fried rice with orange chicken or something similar on the buffet for lunch, but NOT now. The desserts are nothing spectacular (no one wants 1/2 a Bundt cake that's dry and not tasty). I do like the bread pudding. We dined here twice during our stay. The first time was for dinner on a Monday at around 6:00 pm. There was not a line so that was great. Price was approx $28 which was fair. There was a decent amount of variety of food. The staff were all friendly. Our server kept our glasses filled and cleared our plates promptly. Overall I would've rated it a 3 star, not bad nor great. The Beau held a Vietnamese concert on Thanksgiving Eve which I was told happens every year. In honor of that, they had a late night buffet from 10:00 pm - 2:00 am. They had a special menu featuring many Vietnamese dishes. I was pretty excited about it. It was awesome to get my Viet food fix right at the hotel I was staying in. Girls trip to Biloxi started at the Beau Rivage. Before we left to go to our hotel, we decided to eat dinner at The Buffet. The young lady at the desk who took the money was super friendly. We had a great chat while waiting to be seated. The food was actually really tasty over all. I tried the fried chicken, Brussels, chicken livers, shrimp cocktail, seafood gumbo, roasted/sauteed veggies, egg rolls, and a stuffed fish with a Ponchartrain sauce(spelling?). The seafood gumbo was the best I had during the whole trip - and we went to an upscale place where I ordered gumbo - who knew a buffet would have such a great gumbo?!!. The other stand out was the stuffed fish with the Pontutrain sauce (sorry for butchering that spelling). The only disappointment was the egg rolls - out too long - yuck! I have been here several times over the past 30 years since the beginning. Please, please do not waste your time and money. It has went so far down I don't know if it hit bottom yet but not far from it. This is the beau rivage we are talking about so it needs to live up to it's name. 32.00 a person you can eat anywhere. Thinking back how it used to be maybe they had someone tell them the gambling would do better if the food was bad and way less to choose from. People were getting so full they would just head home to the couch or up to their room. I know I left the table and was still hungry because they had nothing that made me want to stay. One last this is they had a sugar free dessert but it was stale and dry. Didn't get to eat that either. I came here for lunch on a weekday. There was no wait, and it was not too busy. The price was fair for the selection of food that was offered. Some items seemed like it had been sitting there for awhile, but I did see them replacing some of the more popular items pretty often. They had a carving station with some roast beef, which was decent. Just a little tough. The catfish was pretty good as well. My favorite were the sides. The mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese were great. The dessert selection was huge. Every kind of dessert you could imagine including creme brûlée which I've never seen at a buffet before. I feel like this buffet has steadily gone downhill over the years. It used to have wonderful selections that actually tasted good and a great atmosphere. Not so much anymore. During my last visit, meats were dry and many items lacked flavor. I can't even think of a highlight (just thankful for the salad bar and the peel-and-eat shrimp to fill me up). With a recent remodel, the eating area is smaller, and you now have to get your own drinks at a beverage station. I feel like that lessens the experience and basically makes your server a plate pickup person. I keep hoping it will improve and get back to its glory days, but it hasn't happened yet. read more

Myself and three friends went to Beau Rivage Buffet January 1, 2025. All the food was well presented. It looked really good. But it was not the same as what it looked like. There was a few things that was really good like the primary rib, the crème brûlée and the salad. We had an excellent server and was very pleased with the service we got. The hostess seated us was very nice too. We just talked about our meal later and what we thought of it when we got back in the room. The vegetables were not good.
