Yuls is a new favorite. A friend recommended it and I'm so glad he did. The location is amazing. Right on the water with beautiful views all around. When went the upstairs was the open portion so we sat up there on the outdoor balcony and it was lovely. The crawfish were really good. We could have done a little spicier but they were large, tasty, and very appropriately priced. I also tried the snow crab platter and it was EXCELLENT. The staff members were friendly. We got there and decided to sit on the patio upstairs. We ordered our drinks and food which was the lb of royal reds. After what seemed like an hour waiting we got our shrimp. It was undercooked and extremely mushy and slimy and gritty and didn't taste like a royal red shrimp at all. We were extremely disappointed. This was our first and LAST time eating there. read more

My wife and I visited Yul's Place for a cold one this afternoon and the beer was nice and cold. We sat for over 15 mins with empty glasses while the waitress gabbed about her daughter in New York to 3 other customers. The ambiance and water views are great there. This was our third trip there in the last year and were very disappointed. needless to say we won't be returning anytime soon. Was shocked at how hard it was to find locally caught seafood in Biloxi. Tried several places and was finally told about Yul's. Actually serve domestic shrimp. I love the idea that it now must be listed on the menu of restaurants whether the seafood is domestic or imported, but shocked at how little domestic seafood is available ON OUR COASTLINE! What a great place to eat. After a walk on the causeway, my dog Lily and I went on to the balcony and ordered some food. I ordered shrimp tacos, that were amazing, especially with the remoulade sauce. Also I ordered fried okra and sweet ice tea. Delicious, down home, seafood & sides. Seating is inside and outside. The place isn't too big but also not too small. Very much a local restaurant feel. I was visiting family from out of town and said i wanted seafood, so my Aunt took me here. The food was delicious and hit the spot! We had the fried seafood baskets + crab cakes. The crab cakes were esp good b/c they were more crab and not much breading. The owner (Yul) was on site and was super friendly. He greeted us and we chatted for a little while. Was craving some boiled crawfish and since this establishment seems to be known for crawfish and was close I decided to give them a try. What I was expecting and what I got were totally opposite. Not only where the crawfish no bigger than my fingernails but absolutely no seasoning, just some microscopic pieces of minced garlic. No salt, no crab boil, nothing. Don't understand all the rave reviews from people but I work hard for my money and didn't expect to be served this. First, we live here very close and wanted to give it a try. Service wasn't great. We waited over 45 mins for our food. Then I asked about it, was told the ticket was lost. So we waited about 15 more mins and got our food. Well almost all of it. They forgot to order the Togo food we asked for initially. The food was bland. Had shrimp poboy, wasn't terrible but very average at best. So had Mac ' N Cheese and it was noodles with some kind of cheese plopped on it. Wasn't mixed or anything. I understand giving back to small businesses but it's hard when all this happens upon a first visit. Also, no comp for food or even 10% for over an hour. I will say the ambiance was ok. Sorry. I love this place. Overlooks the water and you can dine outside or in.. service is great the the food is the best and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and helpful. We found this place on line and decided to have lunch there on our last trip to Biloxi, Big Mistake! We ordered shrimp po-boy's which should be a major staple along the coast. They used frozen popcorn shrimp and pressed the bread with no sauce. It took 30 minutes to receive our order in a practically empty room. We noticed that they brought the food up from downstairs which was very concerning in regard to the first floor appears to contain the kitchen, bait shop, and storage area which appeared to be cluttered and dirty. We will definitely won't be back and suggest Yul to make his place strictly a bait shop. He has very little knowledge of the restaurant business! read more

Food was terrible. Half the French fries were raw and undercooked. Fried shrimp was so salty and under battered I could only eat 1 piece. The fried catfish was barely cooked through. The service staff carry food from food truck up the stairs, basket of food on top of another basket of food. Stacked on each other and the baskets are greasy to touch let alone to think it touching someone's food.
