Came here on two separate occasions and both times were great! The service is friendly and speedy, the food is great, and the location is awesome. First time around, I got the po boy, hush puppies, and lobster mac. The po boy and hush puppies were great. The lobster mac tasted fine but was too rich for me. I'm sure most people would love it though! Second time, I got the fried fish sandwich and fresh oysters. The fried fish sandwich surprised me with how massive the fish was LOL. But it was delicious. The oysters were fresh as well. Shaggy's will now be a regular place I come back to when I need a chill place to hang with some great food.

Mush rice. Yes this is supposed to be rice, it was cold and should have been hot. It was just was overcooked and to much water added.
    Irene P.

Food was cold. Margaritas was terrible and huge salt lip slid into the drink. No lemon lime flavor and slush added at the bar. Not worth the money, not enjoyable or fun. Fish was cold overcooked and dry. Fries were cold and not crisp on outside but no cold fry tastes right. The rice was mush. See photo. Cold rice is a safety issue. Dry fish needs a sauce I used someone else's sauce brought by our waiter to help make the food taste better. Service was good at 4:30 pm. Challenging parking.

ChatGPT or Google AI said that shaggy's had the best royal red shrimp. They were not wrong. Great beach bar atmosphere. Great service. Cold drinks and great shrimp, what more could you ask for?

First time here. Visited with Stuart at the bar while waiting on our table - he's the man ! Carole Ann is our server, she was great ! We had fried fish, fried shrimp, boiled shrimp and popcorn shrimp. Everything was superb - except the tartar sauce. We will certainly come again !

We were looking for seafood in the area and this was a good option. Located on the same strip as the casinos and right next to the water it was a lively spot. We sat at the bar and the food came out quick and the drinks were good.

Fun place right on the beach. The people are really sweet. They all work together and so friendly. Meghan was our server and just lovely. Food was delicious! The fish dip was super meaty- a meal in itself. The gumbo was on point! The royal reds shrimp were so tender! The broth was a little salty and I love salt- just slightly over salted. But I'd still order it again! My husband was pretty addicted to it. lol. He ate ever drop. Really nice experience

I recommend putting your name on the waitlist prior to arriving. You can do that online it is very easy and made the experience that much smoother. We arrived and at time where there was a 1 hour wait. We asked for the first available and were seated within 5minutes since we were already on the waitlist. The drinks were delicious, Tye dye margarita. I also had the seafood fries and the jerk shrimp bowl no complaints on the food everything was hot and well seasoned. We were lucky and got a great view of the water at sunset with our dinner. The restaurant has misting fans going in the outdoor seating area which absolutely made the experience comfortable and enjoyable on one of the hottest days so far. Overall 10/10 experience!

Why do they get good reviews is a mystery to me. First, you have to wait 30-40min which creates a sense of 'wow, they must be doing something right', then when you go in, you see a big area 'closed' so not too much seating is available. The food - horrendous, and we wanted so much to enjoy. The view - meh- because the actual sunset is hidden behind all the buildings. Music - barely noticeable. Tables and bar - dirty. You can probably enjoy same if not even more in one of next door beach front restaurants. I had the blackened Red Fish - one of the worst I have ever had:( The only positive was the server - she was very nice.

Shaggy's = officially a win Stopped by Shaggy's and it did not disappoint. We had the pulled pork nachos (which were basically a mountain of happiness) and the fish stuffed with a crab cake and wow... absolute chef's kiss But let's talk about the real MVP: Bobby. Fast, friendly, and genuinely funny. The kind of server that makes the whole experience better, not just the food. Our drinks stayed full, our food came out quick, and we laughed the whole time. Great food, great service, great vibes. We'll definitely be back

Dude, buckle up because Shaggy's Biloxi Beach is straight-up calling your name for an epic Gulf Coast adventure! Picture this: you're kicking back right on the sandy shores of Biloxi, waves crashing, sun dipping low, and that killer sunset painting the sky in fiery oranges and pinks. That's the vibe at Shaggy's pure island escape energy with your toes practically in the sand. Those pulled pork tacos you raved about? Spot on they're the Hawaiian Pork Tacos, loaded with smoked pulled pork, honey-lime slaw, pineapple pico, and a BBQ drizzle that hits like a tropical flavor bomb. And don't get me started on the shrimp options, surf 'n' turf platters, massive menu that's impossible to conquer alone, and those waitresses who guide you through it like pros. The cocktails? Legendary spicy margaritas rimmed with Tajín, piña coladas bursting with fresh fruit garnishes, local draft beers flowing, all while you're soaking in that unbeatable beachfront view. Fun fact: Shaggy's started as a bold dream to revive the Pass Christian waterfront after Hurricane Katrina, kicking off in 2007 and exploding into multiple waterfront spots, including this Biloxi gem at 1763 Beach Blvd. It's all about that laid-back, family-friendly island vibe with fresh Gulf seafood, burgers, and drinks that scream vacation mode. And here's the real kicker Shaggy's Biloxi Beach consistently ranks among the top spots in Biloxi, snagging Travelers' Choice awards, voted best all-around restaurant in Coastal Mississippi, and holding strong in the top 5-10 on Tripadvisor with thousands of glowing reviews. It's not just good it's a must-see, must-eat destination on any Biloxi hit list. If you're chasing authentic coastal thrills, killer eats, epic sunsets, and that unbeatable "I'm on vacation forever" feeling, Shaggy's rockets straight to the top of my Biloxi adventures. Grab a spot on the patio, order those tacos, sip that spicy marg, and watch the sun melt into the Gulf pure magic, man! Who's ready to hit the beach?

Fun place to eat right on the gulf. The seafood was fresh and tasted delicious, we really liked the gator bites. The Mahi Mahi tacos were spot on. Fun atmosphere, plenty of tables and seats at the bar. The service was friendly and very helpful. Would definitely go back there next time we are in Biloxi.

I stopped in solo for lunch in a hurry, so I sat at the bar and got in and out surprisingly quickly. It was a beautiful spring Friday, so the restaurant was busy as might be expected but the staff was professional, friendly, and efficient. I had the shrimp roll on a previous visit and loved it, so I ordered it again and wasn't disappointed. It's basically a lobster roll made with Royal Red shrimp instead of lobster. The shrimp were plentiful, fresh, sweet, and perfectly cooked. The mayo based dressing was just enough to bind and add flavor without being heavy or overpowering the shrimp. The bun was soft, toasty, and buttery. I subbed tater tots for fries and they were hot, fresh, and fried in fresh tasting oil. I would absolutely return for another shrimp roll, preferably when not in a rush and able to linger to enjoy the gulf view.

Always love coming to Shaggy's! We usually visit once or twice each time we're in town and we've been going there for several years. Service is always right on point and super friendly, starting at the hostess stand. The person that seats you also takes your drink order, so you're not waiting for your server to get your drinks. Genius! Every server we've ever had is amazing. They're friendly and really make you feel that they're happy you're there. The gorgeous Gulf views can't be beat. We have mostly sat outside, but they do have inside seating. Food is yummy! We have tried many different things on the menu and it's all good. Mostly we get the fried shrimp plates...love their homemade remoulade. The doggy menu is such a cute idea and it's served on a frisbee that you can take home...adorable! They always bring the pups a water bowl. *Bonus - They offer a 10% military discount

First off, they bring the food out in a giant plastic bag like it's evidence from a crime scene. And honestly, it is a crime--how much butter and Cajun seasoning they put in there. Parking is gravel lot so you just fit your vehicle where you can. Usually if you can find a space, there will be a table open so keep that in mind if you think it might be too busy and you don't want to wait. In addition to the great stuff like boiled shrimp or crawfish, they also have wonderful poboys that are packed with whatever you want on them. I opted for grilled shrimp on my last visit, but fried shrimp is great as well. If you order an optional side, you will get plenty like onion rings, fried okra, or fries. They also have daily specials like shrimp or catfish baskets, and currently on Saturdays you can get a pound of royal reds with potatoes and corn for roughly twenty bucks. Royal reds are a premium kind of deep sea shrimp that are more like lobster and very meaty. I highly recommend trying them if you've only ever had regular gulf shrimp before.
