Parking is gravel lot so you just fit your vehicle where you can. Usually if you can find a space, there will be a table open so keep that in mind if you think it might be too busy and you don't want to wait. In addition to the great stuff like boiled shrimp or crawfish, they also have wonderful poboys that are packed with whatever you want on them. I opted for grilled shrimp on my last visit, but fried shrimp is great as well. If you order an optional side, you will get plenty like onion rings, fried okra, or fries. They also have daily specials like shrimp or catfish baskets, and currently on Saturdays you can get a pound of royal reds with potatoes and corn for roughly twenty bucks. Royal reds are a premium kind of deep sea shrimp that are more like lobster and very meaty. I highly recommend trying them if you've only ever had regular gulf shrimp before. Service here is always good because the place is small and they keep it well-staffed. Waitresses will keep your drinks filled constantly and they pay attention well. You won't be ignored here, so service is quick and the food comes out fast. Definitely give this place a try.

For starters, we got a dozen grilled oysters that had this excellent garlic butter sauce and cheese added. They were average size as you can expect but much better than what we've gotten from Half Shell the past few times we went. We also got the fried alligator bites which were more tender than any gator I've ever had before, and came with an excellent dipping sauce. I ordered the seafood platter for my meal and couldn't finish it. On top of a large bed of french fries were a bunch of shrimp, oysters, hush puppies, and one large catfish filet that was cooked perfectly. My wife ordered the Taste of Acadiana which came with three different cajun staples including gumbo and jambalaya. I sampled some of hers and really liked them all. We went on a Friday night and it wasn't all that busy, but our service was good and they kept our drinks filled. I can't wait to go back!

Also included was a bit of somewhat dry pasta which goes well to lap up all the flavors left on the plate, and a small side salad. My wife had the redfish which came with a very large filet and more of the same basic pasta side. Steve's Marina is consistently good and the harbor view is always welcome, plus the service was quick and friendly, but I will say that they are overpriced for what you get. My wife and I shared an appetizer, had two entrees, and tea to drink - no alcohol or dessert. The bill total, after a normal tip, was over $100. I feel like you can get more for your money elsewhere because this just isn't a hundred dollar meal kind of place.

I really wanted the Pebble Beach roll, that has always been my favorite. The waitress said they have been out of scallops for three months.
