I love a good breakfast and IHOP did not disappoint. We came on Mother's Day for some breakfast and everything about our experience was great! The service was amazing, the food was delicious and made perfectly to what I ordered, and the ambiance was nice. It was busy but the staff were on point and we did not even have to wait to get a table which was a plus. I ordered the country fried steak combo which came with country white gravy, two scrambled eggs, a crispy hash brown, and a stack of two pancakes for $13.99. Worst service ever!! There was pretty much no one in the restaurant and we had to wait a long time to get service , when finally she came to take our drink order I told her that we were ready to order she ignored me and only took my drink order and left, I tried to call her again,and said we ready to order she got offered and tell me she was the only working there, after that I'm pretty sure she told the other people in the kitchen cause they came out from the kitchen and give me a look. Listen, it's an iHop so there's no use in expecting 5-star service. Everyone enjoyed their food (will definitely be getting one of their hash brown bowls next time, they look delicious) and believe it or not, their fries are fantastic. I have no complaints really in terms of the food we were given. However, I can't give them 5-stars because our food came out at different times and I had to wait a little while and was last to get food from my friends (we told the waitress we'd be paying separately so she put the tickets in separately, hence the delay). I ordered an omelet, Colorado. It was a very small omelet, and there was some roast in it. The roast tasted like it was going bad. I could not finish my meal. The coffee was bitter, and after I drank a half cup, I stopped. It ain't like it used to be IHOP used to be crowded, and you had to wait for a table, but today, there were plenty of empty tables. We were sat in a station with a new waitress and she had to ask assistance from the manager because she couldn't answer my questions concerning my order. The manager Maria came over and helped me place my order in a manner that would be most cost effective for me. Our food arrived at the table hot and cooked to perfection. I was very satisfied with my meal and the customer care shown to me and my husband. The parking lot almost filled and restaurant reflected that with patrons. The noise level was at a medium although it was busy. I appreciated Maria taking the time to listen to my what l wanted to order and make it work for my benefit. I love Ihop at break or brunch. It's so yummy. And it really fills up my teenager with file for the day. A few secretes / ask for no batter or fluff added to the eggs ( it just makes them look full) my son gets powdered sugar and the side for his French toast and boy oh boy all that sausage and bacon could fill up a bear. Boy, it's not your grandma's iHop anymore. We visited the Siegen location. Liliana was our server. She gets We ordered the pesto veggie eggs Benedict with a side of avocados & sausage links. Weren't tryna be vegetarian or anything - we just liked the florentine version and it's easier to add a side of meat to that rather than adding a variety of veggies to traditional one. We were celebrating our 69th and 70th birthdays (I'm the oldest) and laughing about how iHop seems to be everyone's guilty pleasure but we forget when we're discussing places to eat. My only criticism is that my eggs were a little too well done- zero runny yolk and I like a little egg yolk mixed with the hollandaise and muffins. The food looked just like pictures on the menu. Our total bill including coffee and cokes was $39.41. Oh the sang Happy birthday and brought us a free ice cream scoop to celebrate- but even not including that, for a diner type experience, I give it a solid 5 star. Oh and they play great (80s and 90s) oldies music during the lunch rush. We're definitely going back! In fact, we're going to revive an old tradition we had with our moms and start going there at least monthly. read more

The food is why it gets three stars--I tried the protein pancakes and they did not disappoint. I think if you go, expect that the food is mediocre (maybe good depending on what you order) and the service usually will fall flat. In terms of ambiance--it's the same as any other IHOP. Today, I ordered through the Ihop website, at 9:27am with a delivery time of 10:05am. So 10:25am rolls around, and I still do not have my food. So I contact the restaurant, and the male hostess informed me that the cooks have not gotten to my order yet. I asked him how much longer and can he go ask the kitchen or the manager how much longer. He told me no he was not going to the kitchen nor ask the manager how much longer. He said it would not matter and I have to just wait for my order to be delivered whenever it gets to me. So I wait, and it shows that it is being delivered, but unfortunately my delivery driver never came to me. I contacted Door Dash to let them know that I saw the delivery driver pull up to my office but they never delivered my food. The Door Dash Rep. told me that since I ordered through the ihop website, ihop will have to refund me the money. We contact the restaurant and the rudest woman answered the phone. The door dash rep and I both told her what happened, and she was absolutely rude and unprofessional. She was so rude that the Door Dash Rep hurriedly hung up her phone, and I regretfully attempted to speak to the person from the restaurant. She yelled to the cooks in the kitchen about my order being a door dash order. I had to inform her that even though door dash was supposed to deliver, I ordered through the ihop website and that I have an order number through ihop. I just want my refund. I contacted the corporate office, and I have filed a report and case with them. I hope I can have my refund before the end of this week. I know I will never come to this restaurant ever again. Today was my worst experience at iHop ever! I came in at 8am and I was only the second table there. The waiter was very nonchalant in serving us. He got my drink order wrong twice. I asked for hot chocolate, but he brought cold almost sour chocolate milk. I sent it back. I ordered the poblano eggs Benedict, he brought me a problano egg omelet that was cooked too hard. We ordered drinks and they forgot to bring my husband his. He actually had to ask for it after awhile. Our waitress wasn't very friendly either. We ordered our food after about 10 mins. At this point one other couple came in to eat. It took awhile for our food to come to us. Everyone's eggs were cold, like they had been sitting there for awhile. The hash browns were also cold. What can you say about this place? No longer 4 words but known known as 4 letters with a P at the end although for promotional purposes earlier this year it was with a B at the end. B is for burger and the IHOP menu now devotes an entire page to various burgers. There is also a page in the menu for non-breakfast meals however it does stay towards it beginnings with a focus on pancakes and breakfast offerings---other offerings in addition to pancakes include omelette and breakfast meals with eggs, a meat, and a stack of pancakes . Recently I went late --midnightish and then a days later for breakfast. The service and food seemed to be better for the last night visit than the breakfast (actually closer to lunchtime visit). Portions are large so that they can charge between $7--$11 on most individual orders and usually unable to finish all provided. My times here do not provide any memories of a IHOP visit with accompanying pancake order unlike my recent visits to Waffle House which only served to whet my appetite for a return visit. Don't get me wrong, I love me some IHOP, but this location just isn't very good. Every time I go, there's some sort of mess-up or mistake that puts a damper on the meal. For example, the other day I ordered the tres leches pancake combo to go. Got it home, opened the bag, and it was just plain buttermilk pancakes, no tres leches sauce. If you think it's ghetto here, then check out the IHOP on College Drive. You'll soon realize this is the easier of the two, where crowds aren't an issue and the wait to be seated is nearly nill. Let me also preface that the only time I've visited here was after 2AM. In my opinion, it's the best time to visit. The place was clean and there was plenty of room for group seating. Surprisingly the bathrooms were well maintained and service was pretty decent. I learned a couple of lessons during my late night feast - ordering a bunch of food is a cinch when intoxicated and orange juice never tasted better. Our meals were of excellent portions. My combination chicken fried steak with over easy eggs and hashbrowns is a meal fit for a nightlife champ. My chicken fried steak was voted the winner at the table even though I would personally would declare hashbrowns as the victor. Eventually our meals turned into a family style meal as everyone took a sample of everything from a breakfast burger, french toast, bacon, and lots of hashbrowns. All in all, the food was scrumptious, filling, and excellent for fatties in training. The bill wasn't too punishing for those involved. Though the prices aren't as cheap as Waffle House, IHOP in this city is still considered inexpensive. Stick with a combination meal, as its mainly the best bang for your buck. We stopped in for brunch and we're pleasantly surprised with the great selections on the menu. I'm always on the lookout for an omelette with fresh jalapeños or other peppers. Their poblano omelette has been a good standby for IHOP. This location excelled in that they put a fresh grilled serano pepper on the side with my omelette which really spice things up for me. Thanks for that it was a great surprise. In fact for all of Baton Rouge this is the only place I found that excels at fresh jalapeños poblano's and Serranos in breakfast omelettes. read more

Understaffed and rude. I was here for an UberEats pickup. I waited 15 mins and the two people in front of me gave up on the wait and left (who knows how long they were there). Not a single waitress would come to the stand. A waitress named Tracy yelled from across the restaurant "Pickup?" I nodded, she said "WHATS THE NAME" and I signaled for her to come to the stand so I wouldn't have to yell and she wouldn't so I went to her (fine/whatever). I told her the order she said oh we're out so contact her and see what she'd like instead. I do so. Tracy yells " PICKUP FOR THIS LITTLE GIRL HERE". I let her know there's a line of about 8 people over there that have been waiting as well and there's no hostess. She WENT OFF on me and said "WELL DO YOU WANT A JOB LITTLE GIRL?! IM DOING MY BEST-" . So they're clearly overworked and understaffed but it EXTREMELY unprofessional of her to go off on me. She then finished her rant with "BLESS YOU I KNOW HE BLESSES ME".
