My daughter ordered the fish and chips with the loaded fries upgrade. She said the fish wasn't very good, which surprised me because she absolutely loves fish and almost never complains about it. She was hungry enough to eat it, but it definitely wasn't something she'd order again. As for the loaded fries, paying an extra $1.50 wasn't worth it. There were barely any toppings, so they were still dry and didn't really feel "loaded" at all. Overall, the meal was just mediocre. Nothing was terrible, but nothing stood out either, especially for the price. I might give Cheddar's another chance and try something different, but after this experience, it's not somewhere I'd go out of my way to eat or find myself craving. There are plenty of other places I'd choose before coming back.

We didn't wait long before she took our order: 2 strawberry lemonades, 5 ox Bourbon Salmon & shrimp with broccoli casserole and baked potato; Single Fried Chicken on texas toast, mashed potatoes & country gravy and green beans. I did have to ask if the mashed potatoes were real or instant too. Now DO NOT SKIP the crescent rolls and that honey butter. OH MY GOODNESS... they came out warm with plenty of butter. No, I did not lick the paper! Our food came out in timely fashion, not soon after we finished each of our crescent roll. We both thoroughly enjoyed our choice. The fried chicken & gravy was flavorful as was the green beans. I might go back to try something different. Overall, the crescent rolls won me over!

You can get in and out with a couple of burgers and a couple of drinks during special time for around $45 and that's a pretty good deal with a better value to boot. The dish was still good but my least favorite and I would normally love anything with those ingredients and fried green tomatoes are a favorite so the remoulade (or whatever it was) sauce was a real problem for me. I would definitely get them again without the sauce because they are great otherwise. But that sauce just overpowers every other flavor! I got the chicken tender dinner and others in my party got the bone in fried chicken. Everyone liked their chicken. The tenders were a big size. 4 of them but I hit 2 meals out of them. Everyone liked the Parmesan rosemary potatoes. I really liked the bacon green beans. The only side we weren't impressed with was the Mac and cheese unfortunately. The cheese was not good. Boxes that are big enough for the full sandwich and a full order of fries. Snagged a beer while I waited and didn't even make it all the way through before the bartender showed up with our to-go order. It was delicious greasy, and the meat was so tender and flavorful with the mustard sauce. The fries were crispy and soft from inside. The spicy oil was great.
