Nice place! Clean and good vibe with a homey yet modern style. My food tasted great and I thought was a pretty nice price too. The waiting staff was helpful and friendly. Our food also came out quite quickly after ordering which was great. Their water has good ice in it too. Certified bussin

The Big Biscuit is a solid spot, especially if you're looking for a dog-friendly patio! I brought my pug, Mojo, and loved that he could hang out with us while we ate. We started with the strawberry cronut, which was amazing--like a perfect mix of a donut and funnel cake. Easily the best appetizer I've had in a while. I got the breakfast burger and an iced mocha. The burger was great, but the mocha tasted more like chocolate milk. She had the peach sweet tea lemonade and a breakfast egg bowl, and she loved hers. Everything was about $60. Great food, friendly vibes, and bonus points for being dog-friendly!

Got us in right away for a table for four on a busy Sunday morning. Service was nice, food came out fast & hot, and it was overall delicious. I would return if in town again!

A short wait for some good food! We ordered cinnamon roll pancakes, chocolate chip pancakes, chicken fried chicken, and Nashville hot chicken and waffles for the four of us. It all came out quick. Not our first visit, and won't be out last.

On our way to run errands, we stopped for breakfast at The Big Biscuit. Let me just say, if you're coming in on a Sunday, early is better. We got there shortly after 8am and were seated immediately. By 9 all the tables were full and there were parties waiting their turns. Our server was super friendly and helpful and tailored a combo to exactly what I wanted. I ordered their egg and meat breakfast plate and subbed a gingerbread pancake instead of potatoes. The eggs were cooked perfectly and their housemade sausage patties are excellent. Theyre a little on the thin side, but not dry as you might expect from a thinner patty and the flavor is on point. The pancake is definitely the star of the show, though. I can't even explain how good this was. It was fluffy and sweet and spicy. The amount of frosting on top was perfect without being overwhelming and the gingerbread spiciness was just delicious. I would order this every day if I could.

Our first time here. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Also recommend to us. Great attitude here, lots of early morning people that are happy to serve. You can smell the bacon as you walk up to the door. Made us more hungry. We checked in on Yelp, but it wasn't busy when we got here. I like using the Yelp app to get on a waitlist. We were welcomed with a smile, and seated quickly. Coffee was hot and smelled great. Table is set up with creamers, sugar. Menu was just double sided. So they had a focus on breakfast and lunch. I like that more than having a 5 page menu. The mine has great descriptions of the food being prepared. So, now onto the food. We shared the western omelette, came with potatoes. The omelette was done great, had ham and pepper and onions. We really enjoyed the potatoes, seasoned just right, and fried perfectly. I pulled an Eric and ordered the single biscuit and gravy, in his memory. Just so we can try something this restaurant is known for. The gravy was creamy and had some sausage, the biscuit was smothered with this gravy. It was good. Also ordered the pancakes, they smelled great, but they were dense, not airy. The pancake two to. Plate, and they were the size of the plate. We would definitely come back to try something else.

The other standout was the raspberry coconut chicken: crispy coconut-breaded tenders draped in a raspberry coulis with toasted almonds on top, sitting over a creamy slaw. Sweet and savory done right, though heads up if you're dairy-sensitive -- that slaw is loaded. Portions are generous, flavors are bold without being over the top, and everything tasted made-to-order rather than assembly-line. Will definitely be back to work through the rest of the menu. Also, the service was outstanding and it was a really clean ambience so if you've never been here.

Unfortunately, the service side fell flat. We arrived mid-afternoon around 1:30-2:00, and the restaurant wasn't busy. We asked if we could sit upstairs, and the host seemed confused before telling us it was closed, then seated us directly next to a loud group despite plenty of quieter open tables nearby. A few minutes later, we looked upstairs ourselves and saw multiple occupied tables being actively served...what the heck? The most frustrating part of this experience wasn't the seating, it was the complete indifference from the staff. Drinks didn't arrive until after we had already finished eating, and despite the restaurant being relatively slow, nobody seemed remotely concerned. No urgency or communication. Just a normal day for them, I guess. A kitchen can only carry a restaurant so far when the front-of-house operates with this little care for hospitality. The atmosphere gives the impression of a place that wants to feel polished and upscale, but the service felt lazy and disconnected from the guest experience. Mistakes happen in restaurants. What matters is whether the staff notices and cares enough to fix them. We left wondering how a restaurant with food this solid has become comfortable delivering service this poor.

However, things got interesting with their Tequila/Cold Brew/Liquor 43 concoction. Topped with an egg foam cap, it was actually pretty solid. A bit of a gamble, but sometimes you have to roll the dice when the menu is trying that hard. The Culinary "Hit and Miss" Then came the food, or as I like to call it: The Great Consistency Crisis. The Steak: I asked for medium-rare; I received medium-well with a "char" that felt more like a personal vendetta against the cow. The Potatoes: Apparently, potato portions are determined by a lottery system. I received about half the amount of the person next to me. Maybe I didn't look hungry enough? The Eggs: My over-easy eggs had crispy, hard edges and arrived at a temperature I'd describe as "lukewarm at best." We also had to hunt down salt and pepper like we were on a scavenger hunt. Honestly, I probably should have just hit the buffet and cut out the middleman. The Service Our server was perfectly nice, but he appeared to be roughly twelve years old. Since he wasn't legally old enough to understand the complexity of a craft cocktail, he couldn't give us any info on the drink menu. We just had to "go with our gut"--which is a dangerous game when tequila and cold brew are involved. The Verdict I'm not saying I won't be back, but consider this a fair warning: if Round 2 involves another charred steak and a side of "room temperature" eggs, I'll be sending it back for a rerun faster than a shanked drive into the woods. 3/5 Stars -- Great for people-watching, questionable for potato-equity.

They absolutely have the processes of this little restaurant honed to perfection, and even during a busy lunch time kept things humming so that there was minimal wait time (to order, for the food to be brought out, and to pay for our meal). Many, MANY thanks to Robert, who seated us, took our order, brought our food out, and settled our bill. He was friendly, efficient, and so welcoming. It was a joy to watch him work; he made sure to greet each and every customer coming in the door, and was consistently so upbeat and positive. And many, MANY thanks to Tony at the grill! Our food was FANTASTIC!! I have high standards for Mediterranean food, and the falafel wrap was totally delicious! The falafel itself was perfectly cooked, with a crispy outer layer, and the other ingredients in the wrap were chosen for a perfect melding of flavors. I had the side salad, with homemade Thai peanut dressing, and it was equally tasty. My husband had the patty melt, which came on homemade bread (!) and was, per his report, perfectly done. His side was tater tots, and we shared them. They were crisp and light without being greasy, and addictively yummy! The restaurant is in a strip center; it's not very big, but the tables are well placed so that no one feels cramped. The open reception area and kitchen/grill make it easy for the staff to respond to what's happening in the dining room (e.g., new folks arriving). It was a truly memorable meal, and we'll definitely be back! Again, MANY thanks to Robert and Tony for such a great lunch. We appreciate you!
