Every car had a sticker price $1000s of dollars higher than internet listings (their site and 3rd party). Sales: Joseph was young, but seemed eager and genuine enough. I had an extremely disappointing experience attempting to purchase a Toyota Tundra from Carizona…read more I placed a $2,000 deposit based on how the vehicle was represented and then paid for an independent pre-purchase inspection. That inspection uncovered multiple problems that were not apparent from the listing, including a cracked dash screen, a tear in the rear seat that had been covered with duct tape, and significant cosmetic/body concerns. After receiving the inspection, I gave Carizona two reasonable options: repair the vehicle so it matched how it had been represented to me, or return my deposit. I documented multiple attempts to resolve the situation but did not receive a satisfactory response. What was particularly frustrating was discovering later that Carizona had apparently made repairs to the truck and relisted it. I was never contacted to tell me the repairs had been completed or given an opportunity to move forward with the purchase. I had to find the new listing myself. The truck was subsequently advertised at approximately $2,000 less than the price I had been dealing with--which essentially corresponds to the amount of my deposit. This experience ultimately cost me the $2,000 deposit, the cost of the independent inspection, additional expenses, and a significant amount of time trying to resolve the matter. The dispute is now the subject of pending litigation, so I will let the court determine the legal issues. My advice to anyone considering a vehicle here is simple: get an independent pre-purchase inspection before committing significant money, carefully document the vehicle's advertised condition, and keep copies of all communications. I would have much preferred for Carizona to simply communicate with me and resolve this professionally.

Goldie's Motors - Bummer. Flat tire on 4 day old truck. As Barry says: No worries Mate, we got you covered. And they did. THANKS Barry!!

The exact opposite of the reputation used car salesman have. Honest, showed me what was available…read morein my price range without any pressure or upsell. He spent time talking about the advantages of each car and the next day I drove out with the perfect car! Btw... The movie Used Cars, with Kurt Russell, was filmed in Mesa in 1980. After a major accident that totaled my car, I found myself back on the market for my next vehicle…read morepurchase. I was very leary of purchasing pre-owned as I have heard so many horror car buying stories of shady salesman, selling faulty vehicles and lacking clarity about the true vehicle condition, so I started my research. It took me close to a month of research, before I found a preowned dealership that still honored integrity. I knew the cars I was interested in and found my way to Goldie's. I was working with another dealership, as I had been pre-approved, but let me tell you what made the difference.. the service at Goldie's ! Through text and email, John, my sales-friend, (I call him) was so relatable and communicative. Walking in I have to admit is pretty cool, in the show room they had a old school IMMACULATE Corvette, a skew ball machine, and arcade games it felt unlike any other dealership I had walked in. The owners son greeted me and asked if I needed anything and to let him know if I did! He was the sweetest teenager. When they say Goldie's is a family business they really mean it ! I was working with John and let me tell you he was so transparent and honest it was like a breath of fresh air. I had considered other vehicles they had but he talked me through the maintenance cost, resale value and common mechanical issues each of the cars I had considered. Once I settled on a vehicle he was able to check for me the maintenance records as well as reviewed the carfax report with me. When I took the car for a test drive he told me to take my time get to know the car and make sure it was right for me. I never felt pressured to purchase. I was having a horrible time in dealing with the insurance payout of my previous vehicle and John was very empathetic in understanding my situation. He had set expectations before I came that with the insurance payout being delayed I may not be able to take the vehicle the vehicle home. I was thrilled with the no pressure atmosphere, and just came to take a look at the vehicle in person, with zero expectation to buy. John and his manager worked magic. I did in fact decide to purchase my vehicle and was able to take it home, there is a small cosmetic issue that I requested to have repaired and he called immediately and got the approval to get it taken care of. I'll be returning later this week to have that completed. I'll keep you guys posted after the service appointment. I had a great experience and I feel I got a good deal on my vehicle and, I felt like my business was valued, my concerns were heard and they've made a lifelong customer out of me ! Special thanks to Goldie's and super special thanks to John!

Buying a car can be stressful and painful. You spend hours at a dealership negotiating price. And…read moreyes, you can expect to spend hours upon hours there. Many dealerships like to tell you, "sorry we are buried in this car" and are unwilling to work with you. I'm sure many people have had their fair share or poor experiences at a dealership. Not to mention, even if you agree on the price you have to spend more time going through finance and they try to up sell you on every warranty under the sun! At Jones Motors, you will not get that! It's simple, easy and most importantly a fun experience. Yes, I said fun. I've purchased multiple vehicles from this place and each time have had nothing but a great experience. My last vehicle I purchased from Jones Motors I did most of my dealings over the phone. When all was said and done, I drove down to their location and literally spent about 10 minutes in that place, signed some papers and off I went! No issues, no pressure, and my vehicle was all cleaned up and waiting for me to pick it up! Such a great experience! Not to mention their showroom is ridiculously clean! Sure, you can go to other major dealerships, but take your camping gear cause you will camp out there for a while. At this place, super easy and the cars are great! Highly recommend Jones Motors. Cheers.

After 7 hours of delays, repeated follow-ups & time-wasting runaround/alternative recommended offerings of zero interest to me as a consumer, purchase order was sent at literal end-of-day (after hours for my credit union to process today, where I had preapproval for loan before even contacting them) with separate charge added for documentation fee + $1,430 "Reconditioning" fee, neither of which were ever disclosed during conversation. This is in stark contrast of AZ A.R.S. 28-4115, specific to "online pricing must match what is paid for item in offer." When dealership was informed of this, a voicemail was left indicating "well, don't say it has been sold," followed by text messages saying it has been sold (attached with relevant party phone extensions), despite a call to dealership indicating the car is available placed by a friend after the incident. Do not do business with these individuals. Everything else on their lot has minor-to-moderate wreck damage (repaired, in some cases)/high mileage, and sales people seem only interested in using this car as bait to draw interest, then pivot to lesser offerings on the lot/attempt to take advantage of unknowing consumers by including fees in this manner for individuals who did not perform online research before walking in.
