    Bought a 2021 ford ranger lariat fx4 from them back in Feb. The salesperson messed my name up on…read moreall the paperwork and had to be told multiple times what he did wrong to get it fixed. When he corrected it, he only corrected it on the DMV paperwork, not the auto loan, warranty, gap insurance, or any other paperwork. I pointed this out to them multiple times and they didn't correct it, resulting in me having to call all those institutions and get it corrected myself. He also did not flag the lifted truck option on the warranty he sold me despite the truck being lifted. They fixed this last part for free without any cost to me, so I guess they get half a point for effort there. Now that we get past the initial paperwork part of where this purchase went wrong, let's get into the mechanical issues with the vehicle. On my test drive, I noticed a burnt rubber smell coming from the left rear of the vehicle that I now know is symptomatic of a leaking rear axle seal. The power train warning light was also on the truck. I reported both of these things to the dealer and they said they would fix it with their partnered shop. They took the truck to the shop and told me they need to replace the wiring harness to correct the power train issue error. After that, they had to send the truck to a local transmission shop for a rebuild of the transmission, and that shop told me that there was an axle seal leaking. I passed that information on to the dealership to see if they would fix that or if I would have to, and they completely blew me off. Because of weeks back and forth where the dealership told me repeatedly that they'd communicated with other parties and then I call those parties and they all state they never heard from the dealership, I decided I no longer trusted that dealer or their mechanics at all and I took the car to a ford dealership. Immediately spotted the seal issue and diagnosed that the transfer case motor wasn't engaging. Swapped the motor and then had to diag that the wiring harness was messed up. I would not recommend buying a car from overstockvehicles or their partner organization valleycargroup. The only positive of this experience was getting them to foot the bill on a transmission rebuild for a vehicle that has known transmission issues.

    VPS Rocks! (Out-of-State Purchase)…read more I've been searching Autotrader, craigslist and Facebook marketplace for a couple months now looking for another heavy duty vehicle for my newly started business. I've never used a auto broker before and was skeptical this would go smoothly as I usually try to have friends or family check vehicles out for me but we all know how that can be. I found VPS on Yelp and after doing some research by visiting his website along with the many reviews on Google/Yelp I decided to take the plunge. I contacted Dave via text late on a Saturday and was texted back that same night. He ask for a link to the vehicle I was interested then without asking pulled the Carfax of the truck and showed that it had been in a minor accident. We discussed more and I decided I was serious and ready to make the purchase. Dave swiftly took over and made an appointment with the seller, scheduled a basic vehicle inspection that included a diagnostic check as well as 10-20 photos of the body and undercarriage including a short video of the engine idling that I specifically requested. I then proceeded to negotiate a price with the seller that we eventually locked in. I was able to send the funds directly and securely witch gave me added piece of mind. Dave met with the seller got all the paperwork taken cared of (notary, title, bill of sale, etc) as well scheduled/coordinated a new windshield replacement that the seller agreed to take care of prior to selling me the vehicle. Lastly Dave was able to clean, prepare and store the vehicle safely till we could schedule shipping to me. Dave went above and beyond my expectations! He was willing to help with whatever was needed. Reliable, friendly, vehicle knowledgeable and great communication. This was the smoothest out of state purchase I have ever done. I will definitely use vehicle purchasing service in the future. I dont even know where to start, but ill start with the owner himself, Chuck seems like a helpful guy at the start but just like any used car salesman hes just trying to do whatever he can to make a sale at the end of the day, which i respect. But with my recent purchase from his dealership it has put me through a living hell. I bought a honda civic with 40k miles and it has broken down on me a total of 5 times, i test drove the car before buying it and everything seemed fine. so ofcourse i went thru with my decision. ON THE DRIVE HOME the car broke down and went straight to his mechanic for a week, i get the car back and it breaks within days yet again. Ofcourse i take the car back to his mechanic because it was covered with the warranty and it just so happens that when i get my car back that my A/C was broken, dirty hand marks ALL OVER the interior of the car, and an empty soda can. At the time i dealt with it because "they are fixing it for free aslong as it doesnt break again and drive ill just deal with it." but boy was i wrong Long story short the car breaks again, they claimed i was "redlining" an AUTOMATIC HONDA CIVIC EX! (spoiler alert YOU CANT REDLINE AN AUTOMATIC CAR THAT LIMITS YOU TO 4k RPMS) and btw i use the car to drive from work and back, and for the most part the car is on cruise control for the entire drive to save gas. But ofcourse they attempted to shift the blame on me, it didnt end up working so they fix my car yet again. Chuck gives me a car to use in the meantime, just for me to findout THAT CAR WAS BROKEN TO! I than come back a couple weeks later after driving one of his other cars that struggled just to get up to highway speeds, just to see my car with the bumper damaged and a piece hanging off, even more dirty hand prints on the interior, and missing pushpins on the bumper. I than call chuck again and fill him in on all the stuff they messed up on my car, he than merges the call with his mechanic and claims to of recieved the car like that when i dropped it off, we than got into a yelling match over the phone, and i told them i have pictures and videos of my engine bay and surrounding the car of what my car looked like before i gave them the keys and i was willing to take legal action if they wanted to continue to lie. MORAL OF THE STORY, they fixed my car yet again and covered the cost of all the damages they caused. and here i am 2 weeks later with the SAME PROBLEM, and the car doesnt drive again. I gave up on asking Chuck for help because he claims "his father being in the hospital" is the reason i should feel bad and stop coming to him for help because hes losing money on his sorry excuse of a dealership. I now took my car to another mechanic and im dealing with this out of my own pocket just for them to tell me, " the people who worked on your car previously put in a JUNKYARD TURBO, that is beat to ****" PLEASE DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR FROM AUTO DEALZ, if you do i prey you dont have any issues with your car, because your in for a huge treat going thru his mechanic (and chuck if your reading this i hope you feel good about yourself)

    We had a very frustrating experience with AutoNation Toyota Tempe. We completed an online appraisal…read moreand received a certified offer of $27,000 for our vehicle. Before committing to a 4-hour round trip, we spoke directly with Lisa Mora to confirm everything. She assured us the offer would stand as long as the vehicle condition matched what we submitted, which it did, and even said we'd likely have more leverage in person. After arriving, the offer was suddenly reduced by $6,000. We were told the original price was set by "corporate," yet the store then ran their own KBB-style search and based the new number on that instead. This had nothing to do with the condition of the vehicle. It was accurately represented from the start. This felt like a clear bait and switch. It also felt like they will say whatever is needed to get you in the door, even if it doesn't match how the process actually works. The policies are not transparent, and the "certified" offer was not honored. We wasted an entire Sunday and a full tank of diesel on a process that was misleading from the start. If the online certificate is not reliable, that needs to be made clear upfront so customers can make informed decisions. I would not recommend making a long trip based on their online appraisal.
