JC returned my call a short time later and he is just awesome. Whatever anxiety I had was quickly erased. The whole process was very fast and easy. I called at 9am and my poor junker was gone by 11:30am same day. How incredible is that? The most important tip I can give to prospective customers is to manage your expectations. You are not going to come into a windfall and that should not be your priority when you call. Hubby was just happy to get the junker out of our backyard once and for all, regardless of any cash. Did I mention that you will be paid in cold, hard cash? And this company will come to you and tow away your unwanted vehicle for FREE? This is worthy of a bonus 6th star.     VPS Rocks! (Out-of-State Purchase)…read more I've been searching Autotrader, craigslist and Facebook marketplace for a couple months now looking for another heavy duty vehicle for my newly started business. I've never used a auto broker before and was skeptical this would go smoothly as I usually try to have friends or family check vehicles out for me but we all know how that can be. I found VPS on Yelp and after doing some research by visiting his website along with the many reviews on Google/Yelp I decided to take the plunge. I contacted Dave via text late on a Saturday and was texted back that same night. He ask for a link to the vehicle I was interested then without asking pulled the Carfax of the truck and showed that it had been in a minor accident. We discussed more and I decided I was serious and ready to make the purchase. Dave swiftly took over and made an appointment with the seller, scheduled a basic vehicle inspection that included a diagnostic check as well as 10-20 photos of the body and undercarriage including a short video of the engine idling that I specifically requested. I then proceeded to negotiate a price with the seller that we eventually locked in. I was able to send the funds directly and securely witch gave me added piece of mind. Dave met with the seller got all the paperwork taken cared of (notary, title, bill of sale, etc) as well scheduled/coordinated a new windshield replacement that the seller agreed to take care of prior to selling me the vehicle. Lastly Dave was able to clean, prepare and store the vehicle safely till we could schedule shipping to me. Dave went above and beyond my expectations! He was willing to help with whatever was needed. Reliable, friendly, vehicle knowledgeable and great communication. This was the smoothest out of state purchase I have ever done. I will definitely use vehicle purchasing service in the future.     My mom told me about this company as I was looking to sell my 2022 BMW 330i M Sport that had 37,000…read moremiles on it. Kelly Blue Book value on it was about $31,200 for a private party sale and about $26,000 on the low end for the trade-in value. I expected this company to offer me something in between, but they offered me a low $25,000 for it. The vehicle was in in pristine condition...not a scratch on it. I took such good care of this car, only using premium top tier gasoline, ceramic coating the exterior, never running it through an automatic car wash, only using synthetic oil, applying heat blocking ceramic tint to protect the interior, etc. I told them all of this but they didn't care and were firm on their low $25,000 offer. I wound up selling the vehicle privately for $31,000 through a Facebook Marketplace ad...$6,000 more than what this company offered. They advertise as beating Carmax and Carvana...but that's blowing smoke up people's you know what. A December 9, 2025 post to their Facebook account states that they will beat Carmax's offer and if they can't they'll pay you $100. I went to Carmax and they offered me $26,400 for the car. When I contacted GetYourVin about the $100 for not beating Carmax, the lady i spoke with played dumb and said she wasn't aware of the ad and then said she checked with management and no one responded to her. After some back and forth, the business denied the existence of the ad even though I provided screen shots. I then went to the BBB to file a complaint and the business responded stating that there are terms and conditions to the ad on their website, which, to me weren't easy to find. Buried in their FAQ is the FAQ with all the hoops you have to jump through. You have to actually sell your car to Carmax to receive the $100. The Facebook post is super misleading and I won't ever do business with this company. You shouldn't either.

I started my car buying Journey with Jose. At first everything was fine but in the middle of waiting to find out if another car was available, Jose left and did not come back. After about an hour and a half, Tiny came to help us out and was wonderful! After purchasing, I was told my car will have a FULL detail done... twice (I requested it multiple times due to the seats being very dirty as well as the center consul). I then waited a week and a half for my vehicle due to Jose continuously telling me that my car was being worked on (A/C was out).. when it was actually not. I reached out to Jose several; times after purchasing to ask about the progress and any updates. I then reached out to Tiny stating that I do NOT want to be working with Jose due to the lack of communication as well as the lying about the details of my car getting fixed. I then go to pick up my car after 10 days.. and my car interior was not detailed AT ALL. There's broken glass in the vents, and under the mats (they so call vacuumed) and well as old food crumbs and spills in the consul. After having to wait that long, I gave up just went to detail it myself. As a first time car buyer, I was super disappointed with not just Jose but AutoNation as a whole. Tiny was the saving grace in this experience but I will never purchase through this company again.

At no point did anyone clearly disclose that sales tax was NOT included. Only after the sale, when we went to register the vehicle in Nevada, were we hit with a large, unexpected tax bill that we had to pay out of pocket. This is not a small oversight -- it's a major lack of transparency and, frankly, feels deceptive. If a dealership is quoting an "out-the-door" price, it is their responsibility to make sure that number is accurate and complete. Failing to disclose something as significant as sales tax is unacceptable. This experience has completely destroyed any trust we had in this dealership.
