3 hours for an oil change is insane. Nobody contacted me to tell me my car was finished either. I had to go up to the cashier and ask and they told me "it's been ready for 10 minutes".

Joel helped me find the car that suited me to the max, a 2024 Corolla SE. I needed a car ASAP snd I didnt think I'd be walking out with this beauty.

They're okay for a stealership, but you have to watch your invoices and recommended services like a…read morehawk for phantom charges and decline repetitive work your car doesn't need. Example: got spark plugs replaced at 75K per the service schedule. Yet, every time I get an oil change, the same spark plug service is 'recommended' again. Same with the fuel and induction service. This is a service recommended every 30K for direct-injected engines. Fine. But stop trying to get me to pay $300 every visit to have it done again. That's a bold-faced scam. I don't understand this process because it hurts their reputation. People talk. I tell friends not to go to a particular dealership if they're shady. Shady service department practices hurt the sales floor guys in the long-run, right? How is this difficult to understand? Trust requires every department to be transparent otherwise the entire business is looked at as dishonest. It's the same with any industry. Also, just the other day after an oil change they recommended an alignment without even so much as a road test (because I was there for a simple oil change). I just had new tires put on and paid $130 for an alignment after having the lower control arms swapped out. What are they smoking? The car tracks straight as an arrow (if they bothered to drive it). They're literally just making stuff up and hoping gullible people will pay. That bothers me. It used to be dealers would try and up-sell you on things like engine air filters and cabin air filters for an extra $30 bucks. These days they try and get you on multiple $200-$300 dollar 'repairs' every 4-6 months. It's an incredibly disingenuous process that drives away repeat customers. And the mind-blowing thing is, all dealerships do this. And before someone says, "well, it's Mazda's maintenance schedule for your car's mileage that just shows up on their screen," I just have this to say: Can the service department's software cross-reference my car's history (the stuff I've paid for recently), before automatically generating a redundant recommended service? It seems like this would be a cinch with a custom LLM deployed across their back-end platform. But obviously that would cost them money and only benefit the customer so, of course that'll never happen. Another thing that's very strange and annoying about this place, is that if you request a maintenance special from their official service department website, the service managers act confused and demand I show them proof on my phone (as if I were lying). Guys, it's YOUR promotion, on YOUR website. Why am I educating you on what your dealership is offering this month? The website deals aren't even printable like coupons of the past, so I'm not sure how they expect people to claim these without hassle. Perhaps service managers need regular refreshers on current dealership discounts. The only reason I take my out-of-warranty car to this dealership anymore is the occasional 33% discount on oil changes. You'd have to be out of your mind to pay $120+ for a retail-priced oil change for a 4-cylinder car. Lastly, I keep all my invoices and receipts, and on my last visit, there was an unexplained $4.99 fee at the bottom (not part of the itemized labor and supplies at the top of the page). I didn't appreciate that and it wasn't worth my time to drive back and have it explained. Very annoying, especially since I come here often. That being said, everyone's generally pretty friendly, and the work is (usually) performed in less time than anticipated. Just be aware they will try and sell you maintenance items your car doesn't need, or items that have already been recently performed (by them!).

On our way out we decided to stop here at Horne Mazda to see if they might be able to assist with a used CX50 that fit my friends budget. Upon entering we were greeted by Cash. His willingness to help assist with all our questions and his professional approach kept us around to seek more information. I will say Cash led us on quite the expedition with his world class personality. Very knowledgeable with Mazda products and his genuine personality made our efforts to stop worth while. Between his no pressure demeanor and his willingness to help in every way led us to a successful visit for all party's involved. Cash and company worked their magic to meet the budget needs, what started in a used car search ended up with a new car purchase at the same price point. Cash moved mountains for us and truly went the extra mile for us. He was a true inspiration to restore faith in the car buying experience. Huge thank you for the world class hospitality and if corporate is reading this review please give the man a raise as he set the standard for all dealerships to follow. Appreciate the business.

When he picked up the car, his Apple CarPlay USB dongle was missing. He reported it that same day and was promised a callback once they found it. They even told him it could have been mistaken for one of their troubleshooting dongles. It never came. Over the next nearly four months: Johnny called back -- was promised a callback, nothing. I called on his behalf -- promised a callback, nothing. On May 26 I left a voicemail for division manager Thomas Tufano -- no response. I then emailed Thomas directly -- no response. To be clear: this started in April. It is now August. Nearly four months for an $80 item that went missing while my son's first car was in their care. Four attempts. Nearly four months. Zero follow-up from anyone at this dealership. The alignment work itself was fine, but the complete failure to handle a simple customer concern -- and the repeated empty promises -- is unacceptable. I would not recommend this service department. We will be taking our business to AutoNation Hyundai Scottsdale for all future service. I will gladly update this review if AutoNation Hyundai Tempe makes this right.

Bill Luke Tempe Dealership ROCKS!!…read more Thank you Mr. Morehouse and Bill Luke Tempe car dealership for making a dream come true - a 2025 Dodge Durango with all the bells and whistles as a Father's Day present for my Husband, Jeff who wanted to trade in our Porsche for another car. All Jeff's friends have trucks. We needed a car that was easier to get in and out of with storage capacity as we already also have a truck (as well as 8 Studebakers including a Hawk, Bullet nose, Avanti (1963 and 2006), Lark, and a Packard Hawk that Jeff is restoring from the ground up) . After scouring the western coast for vehicles, the perfect vehicle was the 2025 Dodge Durango at Bill Luke Tempe dealership. Tasia and I negotiated the deal and during the process the car was transferred to the Phoenix dealership (who was non-responsive) requiring the intervention of Mr. Morehouse who saved the day. He really came through for me after Tasia sold the vehicle that was transferred to the phoenix dealership. I called one manager three times and another manager two times with no return call. When I received a return call the person I spoke with failed to understand customer service. I've been treated so well at the Tempe dealership and when the Phoenix dealership refused to honor and credit the Tempe dealership, it was Mr. Morehouse and his support staff who came to my rescue. Wow! What a difference. You followed through and honored the agreement throughout the purchase finance and transportation to California. Wow again! I just want to say once again thank you to all the staff, Mr. Morehouse and the finance and management at Tempe dealership of Bill Luke. Thank you! Paula Grohs

I have brought my vehicle back to this specific dealership 5 separate times to address persistent, unsafe transmission malfunction and severe juddering. During this process, the service department attempted to resolve the issue by performing the official TRA083 software update. However, the software patch completely failed to fix the problem, and the dangerous transmission symptoms have persisted. Instead of taking the necessary mechanical steps to properly diagnose or repair the vehicle, the dealership has essentially washed its hands of the situation. On last visit, I was told to change the spark plugs (not recommended any of the times before) and still told it may not fix the issue. All at my expense of course since the vehicle is just recently out of warranty. In addition have been told that I should just expect these issues from a DCT. This has left me driving a car that is paid off, unreliable and defective, that this Kia dealership is unable to fix. Kia Corporate has been no help either. Despite the extensive service history, I was simply told to take it to another Kia service center. Neither Kia Corp or this service department has stood behind its repairs or provided a meaningful technical solution for these known TSB-related issues.

Final Update: After…read morefinally getting in direct contact with the General Sales Manager, Chuck, I was able to fully express my frustrations regarding how I was previously handled by both the representative and the salesman. Chuck took the situation seriously from the start. He acknowledged my experience, made it clear that this was not how they operate, and stated that this was far from the values of both their dealership and Chapman as a whole. He immediately took action. Chuck personally looked into everything and went out of his way to make things right by ensuring I was placed in a vehicle that truly met my needs. He arranged for me to work directly with one of his trusted salesmen, Andrew, and made it clear that when I arrived, I would be handled exclusively by him--no confusion, no runaround. From that point forward, the experience was a complete night-and-day difference compared to what I dealt with before. The level of professionalism, communication, and respect shown by both Chuck and Andrew completely turned the situation around. I genuinely appreciate the time, effort, and accountability Chuck showed in taking control of the situation and making sure it was handled properly. Because of that, I can now confidently say that I am beyond satisfied with my experience and would return again.

I'm a retired service manager and give props to Cade for his handling of my issue (5 stars). Issue: The scheduling. I called the scheduling department to make an appointment as this dealer is really far from me but they had the best price on oil changes for my 2021 Trailboss. The scheduler said the wait will be one hour. Ok no problem I can do that and made the appointment. However... right when I get there I was informed it would be a two hour wait. I didn't really have that much time to spare but had to get it done as my emissions were due. 2.5 hours later my truck was finally done with a standard oil change with no rotate and no other services. Someone really needs to address this issue with the scheduling department. I'd almost rather pay the higher prices at other dealers (that are closer to me) than have to wait that long for a standard oil change. Especially after being told it would only take one hour. Express Lane? I think not.
