I sometimes use my maiden name. I wasn't told there was 100 percent chance the data on the device could be recovered. While I have lost some data on devices, I do have case records from Apple and the MDM service providers. That particular profile was a hidden one that was rather hard to detect. I find this incredibly alarming. They say, there is no such thing as free, who knows what "free shipping and evaluations" may be costing you or if information is being sold to data brokers or elsewhere. I had lots of data leaked and compromised, but I'm not able to verify the sources. I can confirm, I was informed they could not recover data on a device and that there were hidden profiles signed by the company on my devices. I suggest being cautious if you have any personal or professional sensitive information whatsoever.

A few months ago I took in my Mac to Apple and Mac Solutions due to the overwhelming reviews of…read morebeing able to retrieve data. My computer had completely shut down and my biggest priority was getting the data off of it. I didn't want to bring my computer somewhere where they'd dismiss my emotional attachment to my data and instead try to just get me to purchase a new computer. After speaking with Manu, he was really sympathetic to my attachment to my data, and I felt confident of my computer in their hands. Their team worked tirelessly for MONTHS to get the data from my computer. The lengths they went to (research, working with teams, etc) was way more than I could have asked for. They truly took all the stops to try to get my data back. Unfortunately, my computer had a VERY unique freak accident that was essentially impossible to get the data off of it. I certainly was devastated, but it was absolutely no fault of Manu and team. I am 100% confident that they put their all into getting my data back, and I'm certain that if it wasn't a crazy situation with my computer that they would have succeeded. So please DO NOT misconstrue my situation as this team having a lack of knowledge, ability, or care. I can't stress enough the effort they put into this. They really cared about my personal attachment to my data, and they truly did not give up on it until they tried every possible avenue. They went the extra mile multiple times for me and didn't even burden me with any insane costs during this stressful time. Ultimately, they provided me with alternative options to repair my computer once deemed that the data was unobtainable, but at the moment I'm still in the grieving process of my data.
