I emailed about a dying battery in my MacBook Air, and received a very prompt response within the…read morehour. The day of my housecall, it was POURING, and Jimmy was on time, prompt, and focused right away on replacing the battery and doing some cleanup for my machine. He has a 1 hour minimum, and the battery replacement wouldn't have used it, so he suggested the tune up, which I agreed was a great idea. He found some unused apps and out of date software, and prior to the appointment (almost forgot!) he recommended I update to the latest OS software. When I mentioned that a prior upgrade had resulted in an unusable machine and I'd had to restore a backup to fix it, he said to do the upgrade before his appointment, and if something went wrong, he'd be able to help me out. The upgrade went fine, but I was a lot more confident about it knowing I had help on the way. I found JimmyMac after looking up reviews of the local Genius Bars in my area - even though my machine is way outside of warranty coverage. The reviews were so poor that I looked on other parts of Yelp. Jimmy is an outstanding support and repair tech, and I'm so relieved I found him here.
