    I was pretty surprised to see my photo here without even scrolling down!

    Mehreen did more than I thought possible with a few hours of time. My photography website had virtually no searchability, but since I relocated to a new city, I needed help! She is a Google SEO expert and managed to teach me some valuable things that helped me get my website showing up and rating higher on Google. Mehreen helped me set up a Google business page, Google Search Console to track data to see what people are interested in, and after implementing the changes she suggested with keywords and image size, I saw that I was now showing up on Google Image search within a week or so, sometimes pretty close to the top, which is amazing for not showing up AT ALL before. I'm feeling pretty hopeful now--Thanks Mehreen!

    When my dog knocked over my laptop and spilled my water all over it I really thought I was in for it, it's a $2700 laptop and I was not looking forward to having to buy a new one . So after days of drying and it still not working properly I reached out to tech in sf. They were able to clean off any patinas and repair the damage that it took. They were extremely professional and thankfully they offered an express rate and I was able to get my laptop back in matter of a couple of days. It's working perfectly fine now thanks to them.

    Tech In SF Consulting did an excellent job on Dell computer with the broken hinge and changed the cover. Also, did a complemtary virus and browser tune up.

    Above and beyond incredible service. Luis is old school, he looks out for you and has your best…read moreinterests at heart. I went to Luis for screen repair bc my laptop fell onto the floor on the side and the screen cracked, and blacked out with dead pixels on the screen. Luis repaired it for me so fast with incredible turnaround time within days. List of why Luis goes above and beyond: 1. Cared about saving me money whenever possible and was very transparent about prices, talked me through details and options for replacement screens and gave pros and cons of each while comparing prices. He sent screenshots of prices and receipts as well as FedEx tracking. (As an aside, I mentioned I might Lyft to his place to send the laptop and he said 'don't do that, so expensive, take MUNI and save money!') 2. After receiving my laptop, he also saw my right speaker had bad sound (I've been meaning to get this fixed for a while and have been putting it off) and offered to fix it himself. He was going to do it for an additional $50 then later just charged me $25 bc the speaker he found wasn't "perfect" according to him but to me it sounds great haha. This saved me so much instead of going to Apple without warranty which would have been at least $200 bc from what I read, they usually insist on replacing the entire "top case" and not just single speakers. Wow, thanks Luis! 3. I am badly organized and don't maintain my storage well; when I went to pickup he gave me many tips on what to fix and how to free up more storage, then organized my desktop for me in front of me. Thanks Luis! His communication is also top notch, very fast response times, very detailed texts. He's absolutely fantastic. You are in good hands if you go to him.

    luis's efficiency, short turnaround time, and thoroughness are truly admirable thus i'm thankful…read morethat he was able to repair my laptop so quickly. context: i spilled half a glass of room temp water on my macbook pro (april 9). april 11th (4/11), though my laptop can turn on + all of my data was still there, the keyboard and trackpad no longer worked. timeline: i contacted him through his website on monday (4/13) afternoon, then again on yelp monday night (due to my anxiety and urgency). luis called me wednesday morning (4/15) for details and the price cost to repair. we scheduled for me to drop off my laptop the next day (4/16), where i walked him through what had happen to the macbook and he walked me through what he was planning to do to fix it, as his success rate for liquid damage repair is 70+%. luis contacted me again later on the same day (4/16) via text message with photos + explanations with what had happen after opening up my laptop AND that the laptop was fixed & ready for pick up! after checking everything is fine/ good to go, i picked up my repaired macbook on friday (4/17). price: it was a $100 nonrefundable deposit to check if the laptop is fixable (paid on 4/16). $200 for labor + $20 for parts (lid angle sensor and 1 usb-c port) that needed to be replaced (paid on 4/17). total for my macbook repair was $320. sincerely appreciate the speedy fix and def reach out again for future macbook repairs/replacement parts.

    I use Yelp almost every month and it's introduced me to a lot of good businesses. Unfortunately…read moreit's really hard to contact them for general items that would improve my experience as a user, so I'm writing this review. Payment options should be added to filter merchants that have surcharges for using credit cards. I really dislike that practice and would like to filter out any businesses that do that before going there, especially as it becomes more common.

    I have seen so many changes over the years. None for the better. I have been on Yelp off and on…read moresince about 2006, this is my most recent account. I have Yelped in a lot of different markets. Some better than others. Some CMs way better than others. I have been elite on this account and others and lost my elite status on a couple of accounts I have since closed. My ultimate takeaway, the community elements are gone. It's fine tuned to promote newbies to elite and dictate what those people should be saying, photographing, businesses to reward and punish. I have never seen one person lose their elite status and get it back. Zero. It doesn't happen. I used to chat a little bit here and there with Jeremy S. I asked him about what he thought about the South Park Yelp episode when that came out. There were all of these wild rumors about what he said or did in response to it. He liked it and said you know you made it when South Park roasts you. It was a fun and wild time, when you could actually have a random chat on this platform with the Yelp CEO. I still review lots of stuff and photograph tons of things. I just do it on Google now to express my opinions and track the journey of life. Why? For me, Yelp's magic existed within the community. Without that, reviewing is just a tiring chore. A lot of awesome people have given up on Yelp over the years and I really understand that. It's impersonal now and staged. It feels forced and cheesy. These days, Yelp is about selling yourself and your worth to Yelp and to your CM and kissing ass. So, it's not really that great anymore IMO. I miss UYE, etc. All people were included. It didn't matter who you were or what value your CM thought you had. You could just show up and shoot the shit with other active Yelpers. It was literally that simple. Forrest Gump was wrong, life isn't like a box of chocolates. Life is one big popularity contest. Some people are popular, and then there's the rest of us. Yelp with no community feels really draining and that's my two cents. Or maybe rounded up to five since we are eliminating pennies.
