Easy and painless process. They said the session would be an hour and it was an hour. I would do it again.

Had an excellent experience last fall at this shop. Not a simple problem to diagnose, no matter how many Reddit posts I read! Took it to this shop, and the problem was solved in about 2 days, and the price was extremely reasonable. My experience exceeded expectations in every way!

The screen had lines and would black out, making the laptop unusable. When I took it to the Apple Store, I was quoted $1,100 just to send it in for diagnosis, or $1,400 for a new laptop. I contacted two other repair shops, but they didn't handle Macs or water damage. Thankfully, I found San Francisco Bay Computer Services. They quoted me $467 for the repair, which included a screen with the Apple logo. I paid a 50% deposit, and they ordered the part, which arrived in just one day. I dropped off the laptop in the morning and picked it up the same day--fully repaired and working perfectly! They also provided a 30-day warranty on labor and assured me the parts have a manufacturer warranty. To top it off, I received a 20% discount on labor for my next visit (not that I hope to need it anytime soon!). Ed was responsive on the phone and texted me when laptop was ready for pickup. Their professionalism, efficiency, and fair pricing make them stand out. I highly recommend this business to anyone in need of computer repairs, especially for Macs!

Wow. I was just trying to contact yelp to make a suggestion and was unable to find any "contact…read moreus" avenues, and then decided to yelp "Yelp". I had no idea what these business owners have been dealing with and hearing their frustrations, and then to see how yelp does not even respond to their reviews. Disappointing. It seems like there is frustration with the "Elites" which I have been invited to join on numerous occasions - I decline and usually skip their reviews as it defeats the purpose of leaving a review because you are inclined to do so. Just them being incentivized is wrong. Anyhow, yelp is on the decline - the older reviews and photos need to be archived - menus and food change constantly. To be looking at reviews and photos over a year old are irrelevant and unhelpful- put in a sort option in the photos (as you do for reviews) where we can look at "newest" photos first. Or just have them populate by newest first, please! And take care of all those negate reviews of your company.

While I enjoy my Yelp friends and find the app to be a handy (if sometimes inaccurate) business…read moredirectory, I don't disagree with guys like Anthony Bourdain and Andrew Zimmern about the general uselessness of Yelp reviews. My problem isn't that my Yelp brothers and sisters are wrong; it's that when they dine out, they want different things than I do. I do not give a fvck about artistic displays of minimalist cuisine. I dine out for the food, not the 'gram. I also do not give a fvck about interior design, beyond expecting a comfortable chair, decent lighting, and low-to-moderate noise. And I very much do not give a fvck about the chef, unless a) they're a personal friend of mine; or b) they need to ask me a question about my order. Otherwise, I very much want them to stay their ass in the kitchen and cook my dinner. I differ with my Yelp brethren less frequently when those within ethnic or immigrant communities speak about their own foods, but even then, they're often biased by their upbringing or travels "home," so I have to filter for that. As in real life, I'm extremely picky about whose judgment I trust on Yelp, so I limit my Friends roster to those who seem to understand food and service. I'm always happy to discover a good writer, and especially, a well-traveled one. Mainly, I Yelp because I like to cook and eat, and I enjoy writing about those things. I'd abandon my account and start a food blog, except that I'm too lazy to do the supporting tech. So I give Yelp content, and they offer me a creative outlet on a decent-enough platform, one that requires minimal effort from me. Seems like a fair trade.
