Affordable, Amazing Ambiance, Unique Food Unmatched by others. Classy without an overdone price tag and refined level of cloth napkins. HUNGRY's is the place to go. Large portions decorated to excite. Parking lot and valet available. Breakfast, Brunch Lunch and Dinner. Special thanks to Izzy, my server and manager Emmanuel. Totally worth it. VIRGILIO APPROVED.

Lunch visit. First time here. Tuna tartar appetizer was great, fresh tuna. My lunch order was pretty good too. Light meal, great taste, salmon tasted so good and a great sauce on it. Will be back to try more plates out. Service was really nice and friendly too!

Numerous healthy choices, including vegetarian options.

Clean, healthy, Mediterranean inspired food, with a little "farm to table kind of twist". This was one of the better combinations of healthy and tasty I have had in a while. Service was quick and personable, and the atmosphere is clean and modern, with an attractive and comfortable outdoor area. I am definitely planning to return to sample more of the menu.

I met a colleague here for a business lunch. I had been here once before but it had been quite a while ago. I remember not being wowed but I figured I would approach this visit with an open mind. The place is cute with pretty good parking. Service was on par. I opted for the $16 cheese burger and fries, see photo. It was okay. The burger was cooked to a proper medium as requested. However the burger didn't really shine through the tomato onion lettuce and bun. It was there but I could only kind of taste it. The fries left even more to be desired. They seemed fresh cut, but came out kind of soggy and with little flavor. Overall, the experience was fine. Average food at an average price.

The juice was really good love that they have the juice bar next door. The best juice was Rich and messy lol but so tasty. Everything else was nice. There's something on the menu for everyone

The food is definitely satisfying. Lights and healthy. My sister took me here for lunch. Will definitely be back and recommend to others.

We tried Hungry's because we were hungry....badomp bomp!!! The menu here is a bit slender and pricey if you're looking for a simple, affordable fare. We ate here for breakfast and then again for dinner. One of the highlights here is that they appear to be farm to table and have presentation of the food on the plate, nailed. At breakfast, I asked our waitress if there was a meal with egg, bacon and a pancake or waffle. She said there was not. So we ordered the 3 egg plate with bacon, potatoes and fruit. We also ordered the waffle. She came back and asked how we wanted the eggs cooked that come with the waffle??? What? I asked if we don't get the eggs if that would change the price and she said no. I was frustrated at this point! The food arrived and the fruit on both our plates was fresh and delicious. The waffle was ok but was cold. The egg on both of our plates was overcooked. The potatoes were great! I'm sad to say that I failed to take a picture of our food for breakfast. For dinner, we had a rather large party and they were able to accommodate us. I ordered the margarita pizza with pepperoni and regular crust. I also ordered the tuna tartare as an appetizer that never came. The pizza was pretty good. My mom ordered the chicken fried chicken and Brussels sprouts as an appetizer. The Brussels sprouts were WAY overcooked. She liked the chicken fried chicken. Getting our check was another ordeal. We waited almost 30 minutes to get our check. Overall, the food was ok. Wait staff need to learn timing of appetizers, the menu and when help is needed to close out a party. Also, there was a smell of a mop bucket or sewer smell. It was very faint because my mom couldn't smell it, but I have a sensitive sense of smell. Highlights are that the place has a relaxed environment and wasn't too loud or busy. The fruit was fresh and the pizza was good. At this point, eating here twice in a day, I will pass on this place next time.

The dining room is chic and feels very upscale but comfortable with a large open fire kitchen that was really fun to watch while dining. They were very on top of service with both our dining captain and waiter checking on us throughout the evening. For appetizers we ordered the deviled crabs, tuna tostada and wood roasted carrots. All were great but I especially loved the carrots which were cooked and seasoned perfectly. For my main course I had the chicken and dumplings, husband got the NY strip, our friends shared the whole fish and we had the cabbage and crab rice as sides. Everyone was very happy with both their main courses and the side dishes. We were too stuffed to order dessert but they sent out a s'mores inspired sunday for my birthday which was both thoughtful and sublime. Overall we were very impressed with our meal. Food was delicious but veeeery indulgent. We will be back.

We were greeted by three different people - one that took our drink order, one that cleared our plates, and one that took our order. All were very nice people and gave excellent service! I forgot their names unfortunately. My receipt said Zachary but not sure which waiter that was. Between me and hubs, we had a Pan de campo, an order of Gulf Oysters "casino", (4) dressed oysters, a 16 oz dry aged ribeye, a snapper entree and a side of crab fried rice. We finished almost everything except a quarter of the Pan, about a quarter of the rice, and about a third of the ribeye. All were great dishes and would definitely order again. We skipped dessert because honestly none stood out to us. He said their popular dessert is the souffle but they were sold out. Our total before gratuity was about $250 and that included one cocktail. Hubs had their "classic" old fashioned which he said was excellent! Overall, highly recommended if you don't mind the splurge or for a special occasion!

Kaila took care of us and her service was excellent, she was attentive, friendly, and offered some great recommendations. While the menu is somewhat limited, everything we ordered came out hot, fast, and really tasty. Everyone in our group enjoyed their burgers, and I especially loved the Brussels sprouts, shrimp salad, and the crab puffs. Parking can be a bit of a hassle in the area, but there is a parking garage adjacent to the restaurant which makes it manageable. Overall, it was a great birthday dinner and I'll definitely be returning.

The Brussel sprouts and crab hush puppies were great. The breakfast skillet, I could have done without. It had absolutely NO flavor. Luckily I asked for some sour cream and they were able to provide it. That's the only reason I was able to slightly enjoy the dish. The drinks. The mimosa was perfect. Hard to mess that up though right? I asked if they had any stouts and if so, if they could provide a sample. I'm so happy I asked for a sample and didn't just order the "one" stout they had. The beer was flat. So disappointing! Overall, the place was okay. I'd more than likely return for their drink happy hour, but it's a hard pass outside of that.

They were cooked to perfection; Whole grilled artichoke at $18 was divine! I never had a grilled one and the charred edges gave it an exquisite flavor; Mediterranean lamb meatballs was a great idea at $18 and served with grilled sourdough. I got the fried chicken with a biscuit. I thought the biscuit would be large enough to encompass the chicken but it was one small cube. It was a tasty biscuit though. It wasn't filling because I didn't eat the collard greens but did dip the chicken in the hot honey sauce. In fairness I'd never had any collard greens before and it was fine but not moreish for me, a personal thing. The deviled eggs were good with a small piece of fried chicken on top and drizzled honey. Eat, Drink, HTX…read more Made a reservation for a Sunday night dinner for three. The restaurant is so cute and cozy with tables and booths. Lots of TVs to watch the Olympic Games while you wait for dinner. I liked watching the open pizza oven. They make a lot of pizzas here. The Eat, Drink, HTX menus are a great way to try new restaurants while giving back to the Houston Food Bank. A starter, an entree and a dessert. $25 for dinner. So many choices on this menu. A great deal while helping out those in need. "Started" with the Turkey Samosas. Four crispy pastries that are filled with seasoned ground turkey, potatoes and parsley served with cucumber yogurt. Delicious! The Ember & Greens Soup that my family had was hot, hot, hot and so tasty. The fresh soup was filled with a blend of spinach, parsley, and cilantro with chickpeas, caramelized onions, pinto beans and quinoa. My FIL polished off his bowl! For dinner, we all had the Blackened Salmon. The salmon with lemon butter and avocado salsa served on roasted carrots, broccoli and potatoes and a bed of quinoa. It was a full plate, which we all took home for dinner the next day. Note: it is quite buttery. My FIL had his butter and avocado salsa on the side which worked for him. I loved mine as is. Even though we were pretty full, we still enjoyed dessert. The tiramisu was so indulgent. Loved the layered mascarpone custard, whipped cream, coffee liqueur and coffee-soaked ladyfingers. My FLI had the Chia Seed Pudding with fresh berries. What a great meal. We had a slight hiccup where the appetizers came slightly after the main meal was served, but they were so honest about what happened that I still have to give them five stars for their food and their service. Would try them again for their generous, delicious meals. Lots of parking. Water glasses were frequently filled both with and without meals. Thank you for a really nice Sunday night dinner with family.

It was a beautiful day, so it would have been the perfect day to eat outside if you like that. I'm an eat indoors kind of person, but if you like to eat outside, they do have a few tables for that. I was meeting a friend for lunch and she suggested Ember & Green. We really couldn't decide what to order, so we decided to order a few things and share them. We started off with the Persian Cucumber Sald. It had Persian cucumbers, heirloom cherry tomatoes, red onions, and Kalamata olives with oil and lemon dressing and topped with parsley and feta cheese. Let me tell you, thats lemon dressing was delicious! It went so well with the cucumbers. Next we ordered Blackened salmon with lemon butter and avocado salsa, served with charred broccolini, roasted carrots and potatoes on a bed of cilantro green pea quinoa. I'm really not a huge fan of salmon, but I'm trying to like it more by trying it different ways. The spices that they put on the salmon were really good, not too spicy, but also, not bland. It was also cooked perfectly. Oh, and that lemon butter... that lemon butter made the meal if you ask me. It was so good. So good in fact, I had to try and make salmon with lemon butter at him the very next week. Mine didn't come out as good as Ember & Greens, but it was decent. That just means that I need to leave the cooking to the professional. For dessert we decided to share the Skillet Cookie. Its a house made chocolate chip cookie baked in a cast iron skillet and topped with Amy's Mexican Vanilla Ice Cream and chocolate sauce. This was the only thing that we ordered that was a nope. I dont know what happened, but it didn't seem like it was cooked at all in the middle. We took a few bites, that was all we could eat of it. All and all, it was a good experience and I will go back. I'll just skip dessert next time.
