Delicious pizza with quality ingredients. I really love this '73 classic. So perfect! The service was fine and on time. My only suggestion would be a Double Dragon or Street Fighter 2 machine in the corner;) This is excellent and highly recommended. read more

Okay, but let's talk about that Cajun crust. OMG. Hungry Howie's has officially entered my pizza hall of fame. I don't know what kind of magic they sprinkle on that thing, but it's spicy, buttery, and completely addictive. I could honestly eat a whole pizza with just the crust--no shame. The rest of the pizza? Also amazing. Gooey cheese, fresh toppings, perfect sauce-to-dough ratio. But that Cajun crust is the real star. It adds the perfect kick without being too much, and it keeps you coming back for bite after bite. read more

Nice small rest, casual ambiance. Decent special, $30 deal for 2 lg 2 topping pizza, howie bread, and a 2 litter soda. Food tasted fresh and pizza was hot. I have mixed emotions about the service. When I picked up my order it was raining real hard outside. So I grabbed the food and hurried off to my son's appointment. As we were eating, I realized there was no 2 litter soda. Could be my fault. But I am sure I did not leave the drink on the counter. read more

I go to Howies regularly and am a huge fan. The pizza is very consistent and I love their different offerings when it comes to their flavored crust. They never take more than 20 minutes to fulfill an order and the app makes it super easy to choose exactly what you want. I plan to continue patronizing this establishment! read more

They have the best gluten free pizza crust I've ever had. You can't tell the difference. I have a gluten allergy and gluten free pizza crust is hit or miss, but they have the formula figured out. Delicious. read more

I ordered (and paid for) a pizza for delivery before 10pm on a Friday night. The website said delivery time would be 40 minutes. Pizza was never delivered, and they wouldn't answer my phone calls. I drove to the store at 11:30pm to find that they were closed. read more

Fans of cheap yet edible pizza, rejoice! Hungry Howie's is here to save you from starving to death with cheap, hot, fresh pizza! There are specials that give you more but they are only good during certain periods. They also have calzones and breadsticks plus baked desserts. I ordered a small original 2-topping pizza and it was only $5, a mere pittance! There were 6 slices and a fairly generous amount of toppings. Put it this way, I've paid more and gotten less than this. The dough is on the light, airy side and they were a little light on the sauce which is an observation and not a complaint. I got the garlic-flavored crust which tasted like they sprinkled garlic salt on the crust. The store is very clean, the cashiers were helpful and not pushy, and my overall experience was good! read more

We decided to try this pizza place tonight it was so good best pizzas we had in a while we definitely will be back to try other pizzas here

I'll start off by saying I don't really like pizza. ℹ however was treated by someone to pizza from Hungry Howie's about a year ago & I fell in love with their pizza & breads. The crust is perfect - not hard like other places. Their sauce is delicious-not too sweet nor too spicy like others. ℹ myself only get the Veggie Pizza but I'm not a Vegetarian nor a Vegan. I just love fresh veggies & HH has the freshest veggies you're going to get on any pizza. If you like Ranch get that added to your crust or to your Bread which is delicious. It's always fresh. If you don't believe me try HH for yourself. If you like pizza from other places you're going to love HH. read more

The reason for one star is that the delivery person did not even knock or ring the doorbell I had to find my food in front of the door covered in flies! This is the type of service you get when you hire pot heads! read more

I want to say that the staff at hungry howies is so polite and helpful and the food is just so great I definitely will be going there

Ordered BBQ Chicken thin crust through Yelp* and when I called the store to make sure my order had been placed properly they said they hadn't gotten any Yelp* call. We were both confused, later learned that it goes through GrubHub. Giving 3 stars because the pizza tasted good and the garlic herb crust was nice, but they missed the note to add pineapple. Also the Greek salad had good flavor but the soggiest pepperoncinis and iceberg lettuce that was ready to be tossed. I might try again, because they were so close to having a great product. read more

Since they are new the family figured we would give them a try. The specials they have are a great price, I admit, but I guess its true. You do get what you pay for. They offer many different types of crust flavors. So we tried two different ones, the garlic, and i believe the butter one. The crust taste the same on both pizzas until you go to the actual crust part (you know the part some dont eat). It seems like maybe they just brush a flavor on the edge of the pizza after baking to give the crust its flavor. It was misleading for me because I was expecting all of the bread of the pizza to be flavored, not just the actual crust. The pizza as far as quality and texture reminded me a lot of a cross between chuck e cheese and cici's. Yuck. We also ordered breadsticks. Even my 8 and 11 year old kids said they were gross. The dipping sauce (generous portion) had a weird taste to it too. The only thing that was good was the 2 liter pepsi. I definitely will not order from them again. read more

After reading the other reviews, my best advice is; this is a different kind of pizza. It's not smothered in toppings, like some chain pizzas, or dripping in grease, like others. It is like no other pizza chain out there, you either love it or hate it. My family and I are one of the lovers of this pizza. Sadly there isn't one located near us anymore, so when we realized there was one near our hotel, there was no question as to what was for dinner. We never have been big fans of the cheese sticks, but our 5 year old usually only eats cheese sticks from other places. So we ordered the $20 special; 2 lg 1 toppings, order of cheese sticks and a 2 liter. We got our favorite; ranch crust for both: one sausage and one ham topping. The five year old barely touched the cheese sticks. After trying the pizza, he ate three pieces (a new record for him). Our 10 year old ate till she complained of a too full tummy. All in all, I'd say they were very happy. My husband & I weren't far behind. I will definitely be ordering from here when we are in the area again. read more

Ordered two pizzas. First time from this company. Took 45 minutes for them to complete order. When asked they screwed up order. No apology. Very disrespectful and seemed not to care they had customers or not. Will not be back. Pizza was bland and cold. Part2 Received a coupon from corporate for a free pizza. We thought we would give it another try. Called ahead an order and was told the coupon is not valid. We would have to buy the pizza and settle with corporate at a later date. We cancelled our order! This place is a JOKE. Don't know how they are still in business. read more

Pizza was under cooked in the middle. Delivery was quick but come on... how can you give someone an undercooked pizza. If I wanted to cook one myself I would've went to Kroger. read more

Tried this for the first time this evening for our little family of four. Used a coupon/deal of 1 large two topping pizza for $10 and also ordered the Howie bread 3 Cheeser. We had it delivered. It arrived within the estimated time given at time of order of 40 minutes. Our total was $20.29 which included a $3 delivery fee. We had a large pepperoni and beef with garlic herb crust flavor. It was a quick fix for dinner and kept us from being hungry but highly doubt we will order pizza again. The crust was rather tough/chewy like maybe it was made a few days ago. Nothing interesting about the flavored crust. My kids usually devour pizza and leave an empty box. However not this time. My oldest ate it but he didn't rave over it. My youngest simple picked off the toppings and ate 3 pieces of the bread. I had only 2 slices. A single large is rarely enough for our family but surprisingly there was some left. Might try other menu items if we try them again but never the pizza. read more

Love, LOVE this place. My go to pizza place. Their pizza and cheesy bread are so delicious and at a good price. I've also tried their chicken wings and my husband their salad and we both gobbled them right up! And they always have great coupons. My one complaint is that when ordering online, substitutions are charged like they are extra toppings. For example when my husband wanted to change out black olives for green olive (I believe that was his substituation) he would have been charged 1.50 I think it was for the green olives even though he was just replacing the black ones. read more

I've never been very picky about pizza but these guys have spoiled me for any other kinds. They are amazing. Get the following crust toppings: butter cheese, onion, garlic/herb, and sesame all in one and be VERY VERY happy.

We ordered a pizza night before Thanksgiving, (we have family in town and hungry kids). When the pizza was delivered it was the complete wrong pizza. The kids had gotten into the pizza and eaten about 4 slices before the adults realized it was wrong. We called the store to see if we could get the correct pizza, (food allergy issues) The guy on the phone immediately knew who we were and didnt need to verify our address or name before saying the correct pizza was now on it's way. When the correct pizza got here the delivery guy demanded the old pizza back. We had told him the kids got into it and he said "oh well my manager wants the pizza back" we gave the half eaten pizza back, which they were going to throw away anyways. When we called the store to speak with the manager he (caleb) the manager on duty told us to "deal with it". When we asked for the corporate number he told us he did not have it anywhere in the store. We then asked for the general managers name and he said "john something". And hung up on us. We eat and order hungry Howie's all the time and have never had this type of service. read more

The food was okay.. The staff was nice and friendly.. However I got sick off the pizza after only two slices. It was rather greasy but with bold flavors. Have not went back. read more

Tabitha, I'd have to say you have no brain or taste buds, and neither do your kids. I first tried this pizza up in Michigan and it was great. If you're some stuck up rich girl that has to have expensive pizza and food, go buy yourself some rich food. As for the rest of us normal folk, we will gladly take our reasonable priced, great tasting pizza. I love Cici's and Chuck E. Cheese, and so do 99% of people, so I'm not sure what is wrong with you. The stupid part of you comes when you don't know what a crust is. A crust on a pizza is the part without the toppings on it. Like you said, some people don't eat it. Another way for your small brain to understand is, the crust on a sandwich. It's the outer part that some people don't eat. Why would you think "flavored crust" means they flavor ALL the bread? It is not misleading. They said CRUST. I'm sure they'll be glad not to have such a stupid customer again. Get your taste buds checked too, and your kids. Dear other people, if you like Jett's flavored crust, they are even better. You can taste the flavor much better. :) 5/5 and the pizza itself is great too. Also, regarding your edgy comment at the top You don't "tell it like it is" It's not anything but good, so you might want to consider some people like good food while you don't. :) read more

Prices are decent and they usually run multiple deals at a time. The $20 deal includes 2 large 1 topping pizzas + breadsticks + 2liter. Pizza is just okay. I agree that there is little sauce usually and "gummy" cheese plus a lot of grease. The breadsticks are decent but greasy as well. Flavored crusts can be a little over powering depending on the flavor. Hungry Howie's is usually my go to when burnt out on other pizza places. They do offer an app for your phone but you can't pay with a credit card through the app. read more

Last night I really wanted pizza but didn't know what was good. I went on google and picked the closest place to me which happened to be this Hungry Howies. I had passed it a couple times going to Kroger but never thought too much of it. But I got it anyway. And I can honestly tell you that it was wonderful. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizza. Not only that but the variety that they supply is amazing for a random delivery pizza place. They have pizza, salad, hot wings and bread like most pizza joints have but they also have calzones and hoagies. And the best part about it is they are the cheapest pizza place I've found so far other than little Caesars. My only complaint is the delivery guy. I paid with my card and he didn't have a pen. All he brought was the pizza and an attitude. But anyway, none-the-less I would definitely recommend Hungry Howies to anyone looking for good pizza. read more

We recently tried this place and we loved it. In fact after the first time, we ordered it again that same week since we liked it so much, lol. The deep dish is especially good, as is their cheese bread (We got it with jalapenos on it which were fresh and very spicy). Their prices are as good as any of the main chain stores. Another plus was that they delivered it to our house. We live a bit farther out and they are one of the only places that deliver here. I definitely recommend this place. read more

The pizza wasn't bad I had it delivered they were an hour late and they were a little pricey
