I've been wanting to try this place for a while, and now that I finally have... I can't believe I waited so long. From the very first bite, you can tell everything is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, down to the marinara sauce, which smells like you just walked into your grandma's kitchen on a Sunday afternoon! We ordered the Stromboli, a manboli, antipasto salad, and a dozen garlic rolls and let me just say, the portions are no joke! I was genuinely shocked at how much food we got, and even more impressed with how beautifully everything was presented, especially for takeout. The garlic rolls? Absolute perfection. We were literally fighting over the last few so, do yourself a favor and order extra, and don't skip the side of melted butter and garlic for dipping. Trust me on that! And the salad! You don't always expect a salad from an Italian spot to steal the show, but this one was fresh, huge, and so good it lasted me three meals. I used to love this place until we ordered delivery. Almost $100 in the delivery service that they used did not deliver it. When I called to inform them of this they did everything but kiss my butt for me not to refuse the charge because then they would be charged. Not to mention that the manager and assistant manager or liars. For what was once a great restaurant, it's no longer that way. read more

We dined in and watched the busy take-out service and the young staff went above and beyond for each customer! One order wasn't completely right (I think it was the customer's mistake) but they immediately cooked the right pizza and offered him a drink while he waited. I had a calzone from here yesterday that was very good. Probably the best calzone I've had in Tennessee so far. Also the size of that calzone was what I'm used to. It wasn't some 4 in burrito boat that some of the pizza chains around here try to pass off as a calzone. I also Love the fact that with The JC's stuffed calzone, you can pick 3 veggies/meats that come with the cheese, ricotta, and that you can add extra toppings for 50 cents each. The only thing I would change next time is that I would ask for the ricotta to be taken off. Don't get me wrong, I love ricotta cheese, but I just think it would be better off of my calzone. Decided to drive the 40 minutes to take a shot. We'll worth it! I'm picky when it comes to my pizza and Italian food. Luca's hit the mark. Service was amazing( get there before the rush it picks up fast!) Food was EXCELLENT. The Margarita pizza was one of the best I've had. You could smell the fresh basil as it approached the table. It was drizzled with balsamic and it added a perfect touch of sweetness. My wife loves eggplant rollatini and theirs hit the spot! I could give this place zero stars I would. I went by there and I can pick up an order. I was told it would be like five minutes. I waited 12 minutes and the order still was not up. I really don't know why it was taken so long to get an order out. I also don't know why I was lied to. If you cannot get food out in a timely fashion, you shouldn't be open. We had a Sicilian pepperoni pizza which was yummy but now that we've had it a side of sauce would have been really good. The bread I so thick that it just needs a little more. We had a supreme regular pizza and that bad boy was loaded with toppings! They had no problem swapping out the topping we didn't like for ones we did which was great. Down here to visit my grandchildren and have a late Christmas. I love 60 miles south of Buffalo and I must say that I was impressed with their New York style pizza and wings. The only suggestion that I have is to make the crust a little more crispy as well as the wings. When calling and talking to Margaret she basically said tough luck, because we ordered through yelp and grub hub it was our fault. She said if the website looked different it was our fault. Small, mom-and-pop operation in the Publix shopping center. The lunch special starts at $4.99 for two slices and a drink. Add a small cost for each topping you want. The bottled water is a bargain at two bits. The pizza is thin crust, hot and fresh, and light on the sauce. The sausage is chopped or cooked into small bits and spread so every bite gets some. Mushrooms are sliced as is typical. We were checked on a few times by the cashier and also greeted by the owner, which was nice and put a face to the business. I truly enjoy supporting private small businesses wherever and whenever I find them. They are the backbone of our economy and one of the key building blocks of our free enterprise system. I enjoyed my lunch (it was plenty!) and look forward to returning and trying more items from the menu. read more

Yep and yep. Doesn't matter what you order. ITS ALL FLIPPING AMAZING. Just the bread knots blew me away and those were FREE for sitting down. My pesto pizza sent me to heaven. I think my eyes rolled to the back of my head and I was in a happy place. The food and the people here are to die for. So great. I just can't find the words. Just go and experience it for yourself. We saw one guy walk in three times to make orders to go. He said his wife eats there all the time and he was just getting his daughter some food but when he saw hers he said he needed his own. Then he came back for the knots. That was evidence to me that people around here can't get enough. And Luca told us they are opening a new, bigger location off St Andrews by the month of November.
