This restaurant offered both dine in and take out. We sat down and ate our food. Overall the service good! We ordered and received our food fast but hot. We drove past this place on the way to a doctor appointment. Stated NY style pizza . Formally from NY we wanted to be the judge of this. Greeted by Mike who I believe is proprietor of the place and was very friendly and pleasant. He was telling us that he used to live in Bensonhurst Brooklyn, and that where most of his family was from. We were also sitting next to a guy that told us he was from Queens NY. Small world! My wife was born in Brooklyn & I in Queens so we were happy to chat through our lunch. The pizza was delicious, thin crust NY style and had a perfect combo of cheese and sauce . The slices are a good size. I had two, very filling . 4 bucks for regular and 6 for Sicilian. Will have to try this next time. We finished our meal with hand rolled cannoli. They were REALLY good! They come in 2 sizes, regular & mini. It's a good sized restaurant and has servers in the evenings. Very clean & well lit. Staff is super friendly. Definitely coming back for more. read more

Little upset because first off what type of pizza place closes at 9 o'clock? Not even the worst part I called to make a pick up order and they waited till it was 10 minutes till to answer the phone to tell me they were closed for the night. Probably stayed on the phone for at least eight or nine minutes as soon as it turned 850 she picked up the phone. One thing I will say I have been using this place for years and it is my favorite pizza place. read more

Being from out of town, I saw a delicious pic of their pizza when searching for restaurants in the area. The pizza cheese is the best feature of their pie. I was hoping the crust would have the taste & texture of a NY slice, but it is more like a deep dish outer shell feel for a thin crust pizza. It just tasted bland and once I got past the cheese, the rest of the pizza is average. I think if they revisited the crust recipe and put a little sugar in the sauce, plus added more premium pepperoni, it will be excellent. read more

I wandered in yesterday, evidently for the first time in 13 years. I probably wasn't there at peak good pizza time, but got a burnt slice that was kind of disappointing. Slightly burnt crust, hard crunchy crust that I'm not going to really go into but it's not what crust needed to be, it was closer to a hard breadstick than any pizza crust I've ever enjoyed. I suspect it probably suffered from them reheating it for far too long, I had gotten to the point where I wondered if they had forgotten about it. Betting that were it closer to fresh it would have been quite acceptable pizza, but as with last time I was here the cook time was not quite right. Pizza looked good, I'll give it that. I want to try it sometime when it's not a reheat as I suspect that's what did this great looking slice in. read more

The staff was so friendly and patient while we reviewed the menu and she even gave us recommendations. Our order came out promptly as well. Today was our second visit and this was an online order for pick up. I ordered this pizza through Uber Delivery, The Uber people did their usual excellent job and the pizza arrived hot and ready to go. The Uber driver had to wait for a bit but no big deal. Got the pizza within 30 minutes. A 14 inch cheese, sausage and mushroom with jalapeno peppers on half of it. it was a pretty good New York style pie. They use canned mushrooms in case you're fussy about that sort of thing. The sauce is on the savory side rather than sweet. Crust was well done, not crispy, not soggy. Toppings were average, not skimpy, not abundant. Pretty much a standard pie to suit different tastes. I am a pizza snob so to get a five star, the pizza really needs to be outstanding and distinctive. However, this is a very good pizza and I would order from again. The waitress was at our table immediately after we sat ourselves and had our drinks to us within minutes. We ordered at that time: wings, Italian sub, cheese pizza, and a siciliano Salvo's. The wings came out in roughly ten minutes! Excellent flavor profile for the buffalo and BBQ, plenty of meat. Next came the Italian sub which came with a pickle spear and Italian dressing. Delicious. Heard so much about this place I had to try it. Order the eggplant dish. Mouth ready for an amazing dish and nope it was burnt. Called told them and of course bring it back and we can replace or make it over. I keep my receipt and next time I'm in the area I'll stop by. I stop by for a pizza to replace that order.
