My boyfriend brought home a Hawaiian pizza, don't judge me... I have craved pineapple since spending a month in the hospital... The pizzas (Hawaiian and Chicken BBQ) were really good, and actually I ate them cold (The Breakfast of Champions) more than warm. I honestly would like to go in and eat the pie right at the table. They were really nice when we called in, we had gotten a family order of breadsticks and there were only 2 in the box. They refunded the breadsticks and we have an order on file for our next order. I really don't know what it is like inside as my boyfriend got the order to go and bought it home. Definitely looking forward to another pizza from here. read more

I'm not sure how hard it is to get an online order and make sure it's correct before someone (me) wasted my time to pick up. Thankfully I looked prior to leaving and it was clear the order was not right. I brought it back in, asked the manager (joke) in charge if this was what I ordered and he said no. He then said, what can I do to make it right. I said I would wait for the correct order and he can decide what's right. I can't even make this up!!! I sat for no more than 5 minutes before another employee shows up with a pizza and a cookie. I let him know I don't need the cookie or want it. Before I walked out I looked at the pizza. It was clear to me that I was handed the same pizza that was given the first time! I asked both if this is what I ordered, extra cheese and extra sausage. The employee (not the one who said he was the manager) said yes, this is extra sausage. How, in almost 5 minutes did a new pizza get cooked??? They clearly think I'm stupid and handed me the same pizza. I will never come back here and give my money and time to a dishonest establishment and the teenagers running a ship. I advise any and all who see this pay caution to my review. I was not the only one there who had issues tonight. 9/19/2026 - order pickup 6:50. By the way, I called the store and asked for the franchise owners name and number and got a bogus ai number (seems to be the same name and number in other posts, see below). I had an amazing experience at Donatos. They recently had an ownership change. I went to this place because I use to eat at Donatos when I traveled up north every time because the pizza was always so good. I happen to be in Murfreesboro and drove by, did a double take and knew at that moment I would be back later to grab a pie to go. Edge to edge pepperoni thin crust was always my Za of choice. I ordered it to be ready at a certain time. I was running 20 minutes late. I went in knowing my pie would be, at best, warm. When I walked in they asked if I was Steve. I said yes and mentioned I was running late. Before I could even reach the front counter they informed me that it would be two more minutes. They said we saw your pie sitting there and we decided to make a fresh one. What?!?! Who does this in 2025? Donatos in Murfreesboro does. While I was waiting I noticed how great the pace looked. Very cool vibe. I learned that day there was another store in Nashville, closer to where I live in Franklin. They went way overboard. So impressed. I will likely make the trek to The Bork just because of the way they treated me. Also got a salad that was crazy good as well. read more

I have nothing but good things to say about Donatos. This pizza place is low key slept on! Clean location and good service.

On edit; I was contacted by the company and I am happy with the results. We love Donatos Pizza and look forward to our next visit! I understand sometimes businesses have issues. We drove all the way to the Murfreesboro, Tennessee location from Mount Juliet. We both grew up eating Donatos Pizza in Columbus. We try to stop in monthly. When I went to pick up my order the pizza was not made as ordered and the Don sub was burnt. What a waste of our day off plans! The drink machine didn't work the men's room was dirty and didn't have any towels. We felt it best to just leave. The young lady working said it was her first week. I felt sorry for her. read more

Thank you, Donatos, for donating pizza for our large high school faculty tonight. It was very kind and much appreciated. Because they were donated to our school, I was able to taste their flavor profiles as they were intended, and every pizza I tried was great! If I had been looking at toppings, I would have removed cinnamon from the Hawaiian pizza, but it worked and was so good! I might have removed banana peppers from the Founder's Favorite, but they were also great on the pizza. I got to try many types because they were cut into smaller pieces for the faculty, and they were all excellent. I'm so glad I tasted them as they were intended because I feel like I could order any pizza from Donatos and be pleased with what I got! read more

My first visit to Donatos Pizza, I was curious how accurate their claim of "edge to edge" toppings was on their pies. Ordered a medium light-sauce, mushroom, onion and extra pepperoni pie along with an Italian side salad. Placed my order online for "curb-side" and arrived a few minutes early and the order was ready and delivered to my truck promptly. Now I only live about 7-minutes from the store, and my pizza was barely warm and required a stint in the oven to reheat. Not a good start for a first visit but everything was delivered as ordered! Once I got the pizza warmed back up sat down to enjoy dinner. The salad ingredients were really good and fresh, plenty of meats, and the dressing was spot on. The pizza was also good, you could tell the veggies were fresh and there was ample pepperoni. Loved the crust, just enough crunch and held all of the ingredients well and I found the way they cut the pie was actually better than the standard wedge slices. Overall a good pizza and they came pretty close to their "edge to edge" toppings claim. Cost is little pricy compared to other options out there but I will order from there again. read more

OMG! I used to go to a Donatos in Ohio 20 years ago when visiting family. We saw this one and kept saying we needed to try it out. We met one of the owners, Bri, and she was FANTASTIC. She was so friendly and bent over backward to make us at home and make sure we were happy. We took her suggestion on pizza and it was delicious. I had 1/2 hot chicken and 1/2 Margherita. I was skeptical about the pickles on my pizza (the hot chicken side) but it was sooo good. The food, the service was exceptional. We were expecting "just pizza" but it was so much more. A restaurant should strive to make you happier than when you got there. Bri's service and the wonderful pizza did that for us. We will definitely be back! read more

We recently dined in at Donato's and ordered a pepperoni and Hawaiian pizza, along with a gallon of sweet tea. It took quite a while to receive our food, which the staff acknowledged. As we were eating, we noticed the tea had expired over two weeks ago. When I brought it to the cashiers attention she said "oh I noticed that already" then why did she give it to us?? This is extremely concerning because what other ingredients are they using that's expired?? I did the online contact form to make the manager/ owner aware and I have not heard a word. read more

Ordered half sausage and half extra cheese. Got entire sausage and no extra cheese. Cold and chewy, not

I just received 2 pizzas and some deserts and wings from this establishment, and the pizza was undercooked . The taste was terrible, and the Wings had " Zero" seasoning and no taste. This is not the place to get pizza, and we will not be making this big mistake again . I highly recommend that none of you do so either. Great neighborhood pizza joint! First time trying Donatos! Ordered a sausage, mushroom, olive and pepperoni pie. The topping were good but really lacking cheese pull. Not enough cheese goodness for our taste! Cutting the pie in the fashion that they do is not appealing to us either.. not enough big pieces. Other than the mentioned above, we will try them again and try a different topping pie. Also, the customer service was very pleasant so great job! read more

The verdicts it tastes like PiZZA! Well really it was delicious. Had the personal famous favorite individual pizza. The crust is thin and crispy. Pizza was loaded with pepperonis, ham, and sausages. Cooked to the perfect crisp. They do offer other varieties wings, salads, desserts. Or build your own. I had mine to go. They do offer delivery's. Or call in for pick up. The seatings area very nice clean modern. Had the pleasure to meet the GM Tracey he was very pleasant. He offered to give me a cup for a drink while I waited even though I didn't order a drink. read more

I was excited to try this new pizza restaurant! We ordered a BBQ Chicken pizza, hand tossed cheese pizza, and the cinnamon icing bread sticks. Overall the food was very good. The food was all fresh and had very high quality ingredients. The BBQ chicken pizza had a lot of great flavors. The bread of the cinnamon sticks were a little bit burnt. But overall, everything was very good. I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant to try the other menu items! read more

(Photo is of Individual size cheese pizza) The food here is wonderful! We ordered cheese and pepperoni pizzas, both individual sized, and the asiago cheese bread. This place is a little far, on the other side of town. However I decided to give it a try. The pizza are priced fairly. They definitely have some different pizza on their menu. So I ordered the hot chicken pizza and a veggie pizza along with a side of cinnamon bread. Everything was made super fast and looked amazing when I opened the box. It actually looked as good as the website photo, if not better. I love the thin crust style. The hot chicken pizza and veggie were delicious. I love the cinnamon bread, I will definitely be going back. read more

Ordered small pepperoni with mushrooms and jalapeños pizza along with 5pc hot chicken flavored traditional wings. Service was so much better this time! The lady was so sweet and repeated her order back to me. This time I dined in and didn't have to wait too long for my order. She came out to ask if I was ok which is why I give it 5 stars. I love the pizza but ordering it can be a bit frustrating. Every time I have been here it has been a struggle to get the person to understand how to customize my pizza from their menu. As for vegan, if you order a vegan crust you are going to get non-vegan cheese unless you specify. I don't think they understand what vegan means. They really need to offer vegan cheese if they are going to have vegan options. Just know when you order that the menu isn't always accurate and you need to detail everything. It's way more complicated that it needs to be. read more

I'm extremely sad to be making this review because let me start out by saying that Donatos was my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE pizza when I lived in Cincinnati. I LOVE pizza and tend to get it at least once a week (yeah, I know, that's a bit crazy). When I moved to Tennessee in 2012 I was pretty much lost without a Donatos and it took me months to find a place I liked even half as much. Then I moved from Antioch to Murfreesboro and had to start looking again. So when we got a Donatos in Murfreesboro it would be an understatement to say I was EXCITED! This Donatos though....I've tried it a few times, and it's been so disappointing. The staff is super nice. The pizza is the Donatos signature thin with that unique taste to the crust. However....HOWEVER....they really need to work on how they bake this pizza. They keep overbaking it. I'm not talking a little well done. I'm talking burnt to a crisp dark spots all over the pizza. That's happened several times, including with my pizza today. It's practically inedible. Donatos pizza tastes AMAZING if it is baked just perfectly. If it's baked too much it tastes really rough. Quite honestly, they could remedy this super easily with just a little more training for the staff, because I would bet what's happening is the staff is leaving it in the oven for the exact bake time and this charring is happening when it's resting during it's warming period after being baked. (Yikes, I know way too much about Donatos pizza lol). Donatos, please make Murfreesboro Donatos great again by not overbaking your pizza. I don't want to have to quit you! read more

The pizza was nothing over the top special, but better than your a average Pizza Hut. I ordered a calzone with ham and pineapple. What I've never seen before is the marinara inside a calzone. So, it was basically a stuffed pizza. They slice it and half the "goods" ooze out. Not my favorite calzone I've ever ordered. But, leftovers reheated better than expected. We also got the cinnamon dessert. That was amazing! I'd order those over and over again! read more

Normally has been my #1 place to go. Then tonight we ordered our pizza at 4:30pm for a 5:30 pick up. Had our friends pick up the pizza on their way to our house for a get together. when they got to Donato's they had given our order to someone else. Karen was extremely rude and not apologetic at all to our friends. Lynn (who presented herself as the manager when I called) at first had an attitude with a response of "I already told you what was going on" this mind you was the first time I had spoken to her. then made the statement "technically its not late because its still processing" (its 6:13 for an order that was scheduled for pick up at 5:30). after all the attitude and drama I was offered 5$ off my next order... no thanks keep your discount, I wont be back.... I don't know if there has been a change in management over the last few months but currently your business struggles with "ownership", and could benefit from the book "extreme ownership". you lack customer service skills, management skills, and leadership. read more

My husband and I stopped in because they deposit at his bank. We got the jalapeno appetizer which was just okay. The toppings were good but the pepper itself was a little plain. The pizza -- we got supreme -- was tasty. The sausage was good especially. The sauce kind of tasted like cheap jar sauce to us which was weird. We ate our whole pizza because we hadn't eaten all day. It seemed like a decent experience. Until about a half an hour later when my stomach was severely upset. Not fun. read more

Ummmm no, this place was definitely not what we expected and the pizza was super disappointing, no flavor, no taste, just pointless.
