The pizzas (Hawaiian and Chicken BBQ) were really good, and actually I ate them cold (The Breakfast of Champions) more than warm. I honestly would like to go in and eat the pie right at the table. They were really nice when we called in, we had gotten a family order of breadsticks and there were only 2 in the box. They refunded the breadsticks and we have an order on file for our next order. I had an amazing experience at Donatos. They recently had an ownership change. I went to this place because I use to eat at Donatos when I traveled up north every time because the pizza was always so good. I happen to be in Murfreesboro and drove by, did a double take and knew at that moment I would be back later to grab a pie to go. Edge to edge pepperoni thin crust was always my Za of choice. I ordered it to be ready at a certain time. I was running 20 minutes late. I went in knowing my pie would be, at best, warm. When I walked in they asked if I was Steve. I said yes and mentioned I was running late. Before I could even reach the front counter they informed me that it would be two more minutes. They said we saw your pie sitting there and we decided to make a fresh one. What?!?! Who does this in 2025? Donatos in Murfreesboro does. While I was waiting I noticed how great the pace looked. Very cool vibe. I learned that day there was another store in Nashville, closer to where I live in Franklin. They went way overboard. So impressed. OMG! I used to go to a Donatos in Ohio 20 years ago when visiting family. We saw this one and kept saying we needed to try it out. We met one of the owners, Bri, and she was FANTASTIC. She was so friendly and bent over backward to make us at home and make sure we were happy. We took her suggestion on pizza and it was delicious. I had 1/2 hot chicken and 1/2 Margherita. I was skeptical about the pickles on my pizza (the hot chicken side) but it was sooo good. The food, the service was exceptional. We were expecting "just pizza" but it was so much more. Because they were donated to our school, I was able to taste their flavor profiles as they were intended, and every pizza I tried was great! If I had been looking at toppings, I would have removed cinnamon from the Hawaiian pizza, but it worked and was so good! I might have removed banana peppers from the Founder's Favorite, but they were also great on the pizza. My first visit to Donatos Pizza, I was curious how accurate their claim of "edge to edge" toppings was on their pies. Ordered a medium light-sauce, mushroom, onion and extra pepperoni pie along with an Italian side salad. Placed my order online for "curb-side" and arrived a few minutes early and the order was ready and delivered to my truck promptly. Now I only live about 7-minutes from the store, and my pizza was barely warm and required a stint in the oven to reheat. Not a good start for a first visit but everything was delivered as ordered! Once I got the pizza warmed back up sat down to enjoy dinner. The salad ingredients were really good and fresh, plenty of meats, and the dressing was spot on. The pizza was also good, you could tell the veggies were fresh and there was ample pepperoni. Loved the crust, just enough crunch and held all of the ingredients well and I found the way they cut the pie was actually better than the standard wedge slices. Overall a good pizza and they came pretty close to their "edge to edge" toppings claim. Cost is little pricy compared to other options out there but I will order from there again. read more

The verdicts it tastes like PiZZA! Well really it was delicious. Had the personal famous favorite individual pizza. The crust is thin and crispy. Pizza was loaded with pepperonis, ham, and sausages. I love the pizza but ordering it can be a bit frustrating. Every time I have been here it has been a struggle to get the person to understand how to customize my pizza from their menu. As for vegan, if you order a vegan crust you are going to get non-vegan cheese unless you specify. I don't think they understand what vegan means. They really need to offer vegan cheese if they are going to have vegan options. Just know when you order that the menu isn't always accurate and you need to detail everything. I'm extremely sad to be making this review because let me start out by saying that Donatos was my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE pizza when I lived in Cincinnati. I LOVE pizza and tend to get it at least once a week (yeah, I know, that's a bit crazy). When I moved to Tennessee in 2012 I was pretty much lost without a Donatos and it took me months to find a place I liked even half as much. Then I moved from Antioch to Murfreesboro and had to start looking again. So when we got a Donatos in Murfreesboro it would be an understatement to say I was EXCITED! This Donatos though....I've tried it a few times, and it's been so disappointing. The staff is super nice. The pizza is the Donatos signature thin with that unique taste to the crust. However....HOWEVER....they really need to work on how they bake this pizza. They keep overbaking it. I'm not talking a little well done. I'm talking burnt to a crisp dark spots all over the pizza. That's happened several times, including with my pizza today. It's practically inedible. Donatos pizza tastes AMAZING if it is baked just perfectly. If it's baked too much it tastes really rough. Quite honestly, they could remedy this super easily with just a little more training for the staff, because I would bet what's happening is the staff is leaving it in the oven for the exact bake time and this charring is happening when it's resting during it's warming period after being baked. (Yikes, I know way too much about Donatos pizza lol). Donatos, please make Murfreesboro Donatos great again by not overbaking your pizza. I don't want to have to quit you! read more

The pizza was nothing over the top special, but better than your a average Pizza Hut. I ordered a calzone with ham and pineapple. What I've never seen before is the marinara inside a calzone. So, it was basically a stuffed pizza. They slice it and half the "goods" ooze out. Not my favorite calzone I've ever ordered. But, leftovers reheated better than expected. Lynn (who presented herself as the manager when I called) at first had an attitude with a response of "I already told you what was going on" this mind you was the first time I had spoken to her. then made the statement "technically its not late because its still processing" (its 6:13 for an order that was scheduled for pick up at 5:30). after all the attitude and drama I was offered 5$ off my next order... no thanks keep your discount, I wont be back.... I don't know if there has been a change in management over the last few months but currently your business struggles with "ownership", and could benefit from the book "extreme ownership". you lack customer service skills, management skills, and leadership. read more

My husband and I stopped in because they deposit at his bank. We got the jalapeno appetizer which was just okay. The toppings were good but the pepper itself was a little plain.
