You can never be disappointed with Hunam, I've never had anything from here I haven't loved. Eating in is not really an option. It's more of a delivery or pick up type of place. Every time I call to order, they read the caller I'd and know what you've previously ordered, keep your credit card on file, so no annoying reading out the numbers every time you order. Well on Christmas day we got hungry and lazy. So we went driving around to see what was opened. We passed by here and saw lights and people so we stopped. Hunam Garden makes the best Chinese Food in Spring, TX. You wont find a better tasting Orange Beef anywhere! General Tso's Chicken is another great dish, and one of your more unique types as it is coated in a delicious red sauce. Fried Rice with Shrimp and Pork goes great with any entree. The Pan Fried Noodles is wonderful. Don't forget those crispy Cream Cheese Crab Puffs. My hope for Hunam Garden is that they expand and become a full service restaurant. Well first things first I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS on Yelp, but for this restaurant it was a must. So here goes...I'm originally from New York and good Chinese food is nothing rare to my taste buds, but since I've been here in Texas (for about a year and a half) I haven't had any luck of finding a good Chinese restaurant. Either there good but too expensive, customer service is rock bottom, or just plain disgusting (some even had a combination of those attributes). BUT in comparison this place is EVERYTHING I look for in a Chinese restaurant. Their customer service from start to finish was A1, their prices are excellent, they were surprisingly able to accommodate my request for extra spicy General Tso's chicken, and they provide a great size portion of food. I stopped for takeout on the way to a church meeting. I had the scallops shrimp hunan style and my wife had the lettuce wrap with chicken. The portions were a good size. The sauce with the scallops and shrimp was tasty. I ordered it extra spicy and it was way too tame. The scallops and shrimp came with vegetables that were plentiful but overcooked. The sauce with the lettuce wrap was a bland white sauce although it came with nice side sauces. We like the chicken lettuce wrap at Pei Wei and this did not measure up to that standard. Still, even with the imperfections, this is the best takeout I have found in the area so far. I'm sure I will be back although I will try different dishes and double emphasize, "EXTRA SPICY!" next time. The service was friendly and prompt. read more

Very uncomfortable atmosphere. The ladies restroom light would not turn on, so I was forced to use the mens, which was probably one of the worst restrooms I've ever been in. Every inch of the floor was covered in water. & I'm not talking wet from mopping. I'm talking a sheet of water. I am 6 months pregnant, so it was a complete nightmare. Fast, fresh, take out - not a dine-in restaurant, although they do have afew tables if you want to sit down. Very welcoming & friendly service. They really aim to please and are very helpful in making good suggestions according to the customers' taste. Horrible phone service. I called twice to get an order, the first time I couldn't understand anything he was saying and the second time they said they couldn't deliver to ME. That I had to pick it up because only to ME they could not deliver. That's the worse service I've ever had. read more

This was a really bad meal. I've eaten here a few times before and thought it was excellent. The Sesame chicken seemed like it was made from tiny left over chicken parts. I would have been embarrassed to serve it if I was the owner. Every time I've been here before the sesame chicken was made of big chunks of white chicken. I'll try it one more time in the hope that they just ran out of their normal chicken. If this is the new normal I'll be finding somewhere else. What a very pleasant surprise. One of the meals I loved in Taiwan, China and here is USA is "Singapore Rice Noodles with Curry". Panda Inn (Not Panda Express) is an upscale restaurant in Orange County, CA that makes a perfect "Singapore Rice Noodles" I moved to Houston over a year ago and have been searching for a restaurant that has similar quality and flavor. I FINALLY DID...Hunam Garden meets the taste and quality but beat Panda Inn with the quantity of food they offer. The people there were very nice and extra helpful. I can't say enough about the food and the service. Most of the business they do is pick up or delivery but I decided to go there and eat there in case I needed to add something to my favorite meal. This meal is Perfect and they will be seeing much more of us whether to eat there or call for delivery. You owe it to yourself and your taste buds to try their food, you will not regret it. So glad we decided to try out their food via delivery. We has ordered from Imperial Valley for over 5 years, but we moved to a different location, and figured we'd give it a try. Hunam is so delicious! Their cream puffs, fresh chicken, spring rolls, egg rolls, fried wings, and meats, and rice were all fresh and yummy. Over the phone, and when having our food delivered, all the staff seem so cheerful and eager to please. My husband loved their chicken fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, beef fried rice, and especially the orange chicken. He and I noticed that they use different types of chicken for every chicken dish we've tried so far. At other restaurants, like the one we used to always order from before, they'd use the same type of chicken , but just different sauces, or fried. It's refreshing to find a new place that uses fresh food, and is tasty. We'll no longer order from the place we used for over 5 years. Hunam is definitely our go to Chinese delivery place! Oh, and it's also a better bargain as well, and their delivery time is way better than where we used to order from. read more

That was the best sesame chicken we have ever had! The edamame was crisp and cooked perfectly. The delivery driver was very nice and the food was delivered promptly.
