Orange Chicken... Sauce is the bottom not pour over chicken. Worse orange chicken evvvaa
Isabel A.

I was working on this side of town and I need something quick to eat. I felt like grab some Chinese food per Yelp review this number one spot. This is most nasty Chinese I've had. The orange chicken is basically slim chicken with little bit of sauce, the rice is nothing spectacular. I don't even know how they the number 1 on Yelp.

With great sadness I have to write this review! I've been coming here since I have moved to spring- the food was amazing but the last two times , I've ordered it has gone down hill . Ordered the lunch specials orange chicken and sesame chicken! I attached a photo below. they literally smell the same ,they look the same, and they taste the same, I called up just to let them know ..The owner was so rude and nasty. He says they're NOT the same , one has sesame seeds on it and one has orange slices, ......but my taste buds say they taste the same.lol they taste the same lol He was so rude like" how dare you call and question my food " .. it's a shame , because it will be my last time coming here and I'm letting my coworkers know without it to frequent this establishment a lot as well!

I usually order party trays from here if I'm bringing something for a potluck in the area. Their food is always fresh and serving sizes are generous. I love to order the cream cheese wontons tray, and it is always a hit because who doesn't love cream cheese wontons? They for sure make delicious ones here! They also will throw in free items if you order a certain dollar amount, like free egg rolls or free family side of fried rice. Hunan Garden is a quaint, local, family owned business, and the owners and employees are always so very kind and welcoming! Hunan Garden is the best Chinese take-out in Spring!

So yummy

First time trying it out and it so amazing! The food has so much flavor and a slight spice to it. Definitely going back

This is my all time favorite Chinese restaurant. I moved recently and I'm so bummed that they won't deliver to my new address.

There used to be a lady that answered the phone that was scary with delivery orders but that has changed. Now I can make easy orders over the phone. I love their food! The kung pao chicken is so good but not too spicy. I sometimes like to ask for extra spicy if you like a little more kick. They have really good crab ragons, and the portion size for what you order alot! I like the spring rolls, but the one with cabbage in them. And we always get the chicken lo mein or the combination lo mein. Delivery is always pretty fast. I haven't had an issue with the delivery yet.

While the service at Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant is friendly the food itself is not fairly average. We ordered the Triple delight and eggrolls to share as we tend to order too much food when trying a new spot -- a major disappointment absolutely no taste, meat, rice bland. if you are looking for authentic flavor profiles, distinct savory sauces, or consistent spice levels, this is just standard, run-of-the-mill takeout quality. It is not decent for a quick, budget-friendly lunch special, but it is certainly not the best in town. Don't let the parking lot fool you as it was full but definitely not patrons of this restaurant.

The first time, I simply made do with what I received. This time, I contacted the company because several items were incorrect. The gentleman who initially answered the phone was sweet as pie and tried to assist, but unfortunately, he didn't have a resolution for my issue. Shortly after we hung up, I received a call from someone who stated that he was the owner. He was initially very apologetic, and I sent him pictures showing what I ordered versus what I actually received. He explained that DoorDash posts the pictures of the food, not his company. He offered to refund me for two items, but I explained that I still wasn't satisfied because the one item I did receive was room temperature at best. At that point, the entire order was essentially a loss. When I asked for a full refund, I was told that I needed to return the food. I explained that the food had already been delivered, so I wasn't sure how I was expected to return it. That's when the conversation completely changed. The owner accused me of trying to get money from his company, said I was manipulating them, continued making disrespectful comments, and ultimately hung up in my face. That part bothered me more than the incorrect order. Mistakes happen. Food gets mixed up. Orders can be prepared incorrectly. I can understand all of that. What I don't understand is making a customer feel as though they are dishonest or trying to take advantage of your business simply because they are asking for a resolution to a problem. At the end of the day, my family still didn't have dinner, I paid for an order that was not properly fulfilled, and the biggest concern seemed to be defending the business rather than providing customer service. I genuinely wish the outcome had been different because I try to support small businesses whenever I can. But customer service matters especially when something goes wrong. How you handle the mistake can leave a much bigger impression than the mistake itself.

The duck is roasted for hours, so the skin comes out nice and crispy without being too greasy. I also like that the remaining duck is made into a soup afterward. Unfortunately, I shouldn't have ignored the average reviews, as this is what it turned out to be. I had lunch at Bambi House this last Friday for the first time. I was disappointed for a couple of reasons: my Orange chicken was basically mostly tempura and very thin slices of chicken. I had purchased the orange chicken, which was $9.85, with egg fried rice. The chicken was average in flavor, but as I mentioned before, the chicken was in thin slices; therefore, I mostly had tempura drowned in the orange chicken sauce. The fried rice was bland in flavor. Honestly, I agree: half and the re w the rest away. Admittedly, all of the 5-star reviews I read praised the duck, so perhaps that's what they're really good at. Unfortunately, I will probably never be back, because thin slices of chicken don't meet my expectations.

The restaurant is in a large strip mall and parking was plentiful. We arrived around 11:30 am on a Saturday and were surprised to see that the restaurant was empty. The waitress seated us promptly and was friendly. The decor is simple. The beef noodle soup was amazing! The broth was very hearty and flavorful; the meat was perfectly cooked and super tender and the noodles were the perfect accompaniment to the spectacular dish! The xiao long bao were also delicious. The wrapper was sturdy and the meat was well seasoned with a generous amount of soup. I like how each XLB was served in a foil container so that you don't have to worry about the soup dripping all over the place. The oil spill noodle had excellent flavor, but I wish I had ordered the hand pulled noodle. The fried fish was piping hot and crispy with a nice Sichuan kick. My diagnosis: one of the best beef noodle soups in the Houston area with other solid Asian staples!

My family was on our way to a Yelp Elite event up in Spring, TX, and in true Yelp…read morefashion, we decided to take the opportunity to try and support a local business with plans to write a review. So I did a search for Chinese food on Yelp nearby and voila! Noodle Kitchen we shall try. Now the ratings overall are good, but interestingly the vast majority of the reviews within the past year are all 5 stars. How is that possible? Could this place really be that good yet I've never tried it? The curiosity is killing you, I know. So let's dive in. Parking is always a big deal for me, and in this case, parking was no problem. It's a big parking lot with basically unlimited spots as it's in a large strip center. So far, so good. We arrived on a Saturday around 11:30 am hoping to beat the lunch rush - mission accomplished. We were the only ones there. Whenever I try a new Chinese restaurant that offers xiao long bao (AKA soup dumplings AKA XLB), I gotta try it. So we did. And it was excellent. The key is to suck the soup out of the hole on top. And If there is no hole, make one with a chopstick, and you won't spill the precious soup out of the dumpling. They also brought out the special XLB soy sauce with ginger. It was wonderful. Next we gotta get the beef noodle soup. And oh my, dare I say it: it might be the best I've ever had. Call me crazy, but don't call me crazy until you've tried it yourself. The broth was so rich and deep in flavor. I absolutely loved it. Zoom in on my photo. You'll salivate. The hot oil spill noodle was good but not great. I wish the noodles were hand-pulled like I'm used to (I'm spoiled, I know), but it was still good. And lastly, the crispy spicy fish fillet was quite good but a bit pricey and small in portion. The fish from Dumplings and Noodles by Cooking Girl is better, but the fish here is definitely something I would order again. So there you have it for food. Overall - very impressive and I would definitely come back and drive 45 minutes just for the braised beef noodle soup. The service was also really good. There was one older Asian lady who took care of us from beginning to end and she was great. Lastly the ambiance was surprisingly pleasant. Restaurant was spacious, clean, and they even have claw machines for entertainment. The big wonder is, for a restaurant so good, where are the customers? It was quite empty for a Saturday lunch, and we only saw a few to go orders while we were there. This is Spring's well-kept secret when it comes to Chinese food. Enjoy!
