My sons 7-8 year old Dell laptop had slowed to an almost stop. I spoke with HC and they stated they could fix, upgrade the laptop so it would be approximately 300% faster. Took the laptop in and was told it would need a new/upgraded drive, they would clean up the memory, remove any old spyware or files not needed and transfer any saved files to the new drive. I was quoted between $170-190. The next day HC called me and said the computer wasn't running as fast as they wanted so they wanted one more day to work on it. The next day they called and said the laptop was ready and the total would be $183. I am very impressed with HC and the work they do. I would recommend them for any computer needs. Took my desktop pc in that either wasn't starting or was crashing when it did startup. John gave was clear that for my specific issue he may be able to fix it but the issue l may reoccur and if it did reoccur he'd look at it again. Absolutely the most helpful computer place I can think of and have experienced in the area no doubt about it. Had an issue where my MB only had one space for a fan, though my case ran and needed 4. This was no problem to the Human Computers at this location. They found a very niche specialty part for me- at a very affordable rate! When I first walked in 3 years ago to buy my first PC I was super impressed with how friendly and helpful the staff was. Since I got my $1000 PC it's had multiple issues. Whoever fixes the computers had to keep wiping my computer since he "didn't know the password" which I never put a password I had a pin. None of these times pissed me off more than the last and final time they had my business. I brought my PC in since the monitor wouldn't come on. Instead of fixing it he said the same thing "no password I have to wipe it" so he wiped it and DIDN'T EVEN FIX IT. No wonder it was free service. Since then (about 3 months) the same issue pops up every once and a while and goes away after a few days. I will never walk foot in this business again for repairs. read more

A couple visits ago I brought in my laptop to fix some stripped screws after an upgrade I did on my own. Rather than charging to look at it, they simply found the correct sized driver, replaced the screws, and even let me take home an old driver for the next time I needed to remove the screws.
