Today was my 2nd time using this business. My laptop stopped connecting to wifi last night. All trouble shooting pointed towards my networking adapter card needing to be replaced. When I brought the computer in the tech said it was unlikely that was the issue. He quoted me $90 parts & labor, but said I could do it myself if I wanted to buy the card. I prefer to leave tech stuff to the pros so I was happy to leave it with them. He called me a few hours later to pick it up. My total charge was $35. He said the driver needed to be updated and it started working correctly. Any unscrupulous business could have easily taken advantage of a customer in this situation. These guys are honest and I highly recommend them if you're in need of tech work. They also sell computers so if you're in the market for a new machine, check them out. read more

I've been here twice with my MacBook air and was very happy with the service. it always costs much less than I expect. the second time my Mac just had too many problems and I traded it in and bought a 2020 air from them for a total of 370$ ( it had a small crack in the corner of the case which doesn't interfere with my usage). they patiently transferred my data and spent time with me doing that. very happy I didn't go to the Apple store. I'm typically able to handle basic IT stuff, but when I have issues like: hard drives corrupting, disk read errors and motherboards going out (just a few of the things they've fixed!) Fantastic job, fast turnaround time, and honest pricing! Highly recommend. My laptop was running slowly, and then after a Window's update, it started crashing frequently. I was working against a deadline, and really didn't want to take time to fix it but it got to the point of pure frustration that I took it to Human Computer after seeing the great Yelp review. The owner ran a few tests, changed it to solid state drive, and did a clean up. All was done by next day. Super fast (both service & now my laptop). I was so impressed that I had my other older laptop in for a service. Again, job well done. I had a 2017 or 2016 Mac Book pro where the screen just randomly shorted out on me. It'd shut off any time I opened it more than a 45 degree angle. I was about to bite the bullet and pay $600+ to get it repaired from Best Buy when someone suggested I get a second opinion from Human Computer. Best advice I'd received in a long time. I dropped my computer off with Stan Kim, he knew exactly what was wrong, he was so knowledgable about my computer, he gave me cost effective options, said it'd take about 1 - 2 days which is so much faster than it'd take if I went to the apple store. I got a call 1 hour later saying my computer was ready. I was shocked he finished so fast! It was like I had a brand new computer. I'm heading back to school this year so the fact that I was able to get my computer fixed for less than half the price I was expecting to pay is absolutely amazing. My power cord was frayed and needed to be replaced he threw in a new one for free, I am forever grateful! 100/10 would recommend Human Computer for all your tech needs. read more

I just had a very pleasant experience at this place. I came here to see why my MacBook Air was not loading websites even though it's connected to WiFi. To begin with, they practice safety precautions against Covid-19. They only allow a very limited number of people inside at once. When we got there, John was already attending to a customer. As such, my daughter and I stepped outside to wait for our turn in an effort to keep an extra distance between that customer and us. A couple of minutes after, John came outside to ask us if one of us wanted to wait inside, instead. This speaks to his attentiveness and level of customer service. He could have just left us outside without any acknowledgement of our presence, and have us wait in the heat. But, he went out of his way to offer for one of us to wait inside where it was cooler. When our turn came, he looked at my laptop and found no problems with it. He suggested that we unplug and re-plug our router at home to see if that's what's causing my issue. He did not charge me for that at all. We left there very pleased. I highly recommend this place. Good customer service is hard to come by, and this place is a rare find. Thank you, John!! read more

I just went this morning for their help with my laptop I've only had barely a year. John took a look at it and diagnosed the problem within seconds. A quick google search turns up a hand full of places . The first review I noticed said, "John was knowledgeable" and I'll be back. Done deal. I showed him a list of requirements for my new printing software. He showed me a computer told me exactly what the upgrades would cost. He even told me to bring in my old computer and he would tell me if it could be upgraded and fixed for less. He recommended less upgrades than I asked for based on the use I described to him saving me 50-100$. The following day I called and asked him how to make my new computer WiFi compatible and he said "come in and I'll fix it right now. I work at a small business (so we have no office IT) and inherited a computer from a former employee. For the past 4 months, I have been struggling with my computer being painfully slow. Best Buy wanted $80-100 just to look at it with no promise of fixing anything, so instead, I went to Human Computer. I called ahead and talked to Mike and described what was going on. He gave me a quote and promised the same day or next day turn around. When I brought my laptop in, we started it up and suddenly every problem I have been suffering through for months vanished. The man is a wizard. After 10 minutes of pure disbelief from me, Mike looks at me and says "the computer runs fine, there's nothing for me to do or fix...so no charge." And even though I am dumbstruck by my computer's inexplicable sudden performance, Mike gets 5-stars for not charging me a fee like Best Buy would have. Took my laptop in first thing morning to get it checked after it suddenly got stuck on the BIOS screen in an endless loop. I was seen immediately and was told it'd be a couple of hours to determine what was wrong as they had to take a look at my hard drive and a few other things. Got a call way sooner than I thought telling me my hard drive was bad, which was really unfortunate. I was given a price estimate, as well as a few options for replacing my hard drive which I really appreciated because some of the other places I've visited in the past either refused to replace or required several weeks for a new piece to come in. My hard drive was replaced immediately and in total the whole thing (from dropping off the laptop to picking it up) took about 2-3 hours which was incredibly fast (I was expecting it to be a few days based off previous experience from other places). I read their reviews on Yelp and Google before going and everyone seems to love them, so I decided to go as well and am super glad I did. Kind employees, quick service, and great prices!
