Our TV is a 65-inch Sony Bravia (model XBR-65X850F) that we bought in 2018, and it has already been with us for eight years. When it broke down, we hesitated over whether to buy a new one or have it repaired. After a quick search on Yelp, we found Mr. Gao's information. He replied immediately after we messaged him and came to our house the very same day to inspect it.His initial diagnosis was a faulty mainboard. To be completely sure, he took both the mainboard and the power board back with him for a more detailed diagnosis. To make a long story short, two weeks later, he returned with a newly purchased replacement board, installed it back into my TV, and successfully fixed it! Since the boards for the 850F model are discontinued and no longer available on the market, he had to buy an 850G board as a substitute and modify it slightly to make it compatible with my TV. I am not professional enough to understand the exact technical details, but I am certain it took considerable time and specialized knowledge to pull off! I found the repair cost to be very fair--around 40% of what I originally paid for the TV. Some people might not find it worth it, but I am so glad I can keep using this TV instead of scrapping a perfectly working LED screen and creating a massive piece of electronic waste.

We were pleased with the service until we realized that the inner screen sometimes doesn't turn on when you open the folding phone (this was never a problem before the repair). This has rendered the front-facing camera inoperable (also never a problem before the repair), and when we brought the phone back to explain that the repair must have not been done properly, the owner rudely repeated "just submit a claim then, just submit an insurance claim, we won't even look at the phone until you submit a new claim". Instead of apologizing or even trying to understand that this issue was caused by their faulty repair, he was very rude and dismissive. So, we submitted a new claim and brought the phone back to get fixed. We explained the issue again, and the same man says "well then you should've submitted a claim for a broken camera so that i could replace the part but we don't have any replacement camera parts now". We tried to explain again that the root of the issue is from the way the inner screen was installed, the camera part itself is fine, but he insisted that we need to resubmit the claim with a different description. Again, with the same rude and dismissive attitude - refusing to take accountability for the mistake they made during the initial repair. This is seriously the worst place you could bring your phone for any kind of repairs, it's a shame that AT&T contracts with them through insurance.
