Instead of trying to upsell me or charge me an arm and a leg to fix it, he immediately advised me that it would not be worth my time or money to try to fix it. He suggested it's time for a new laptop. I offered to pay him for the the time he spent on diagnosing it and he refused. Even though the laptop didn't survive, from this point forward, I will be going to Alpha computers exclusively for all my electronics repairs because I know this is an honest professional business that I can trust.

I rarely give a 1 star review, but I think this company deserves it…read more I brought my non-profit organization's PC to be diagnosed. I would sometimes have display out to one monitor, but I could not get it to output when connecting to 4 monitors (which is essential for our work). I think it took 3-4 business days to get diagnosed, but that was ok. My issues was when they emailed me that PC was ready to be picked and they mentioned my PC was fixed. I asked what the problem was by phone - they could not tell me what the problem was. So I went and came in to pick up the PC and ask what the problem was. They again could not tell me. They said "my technician was out" and only he/she knew what the problem was. Not a convincing strategy to tell a customer. Then, I was asked multiple times to pay the $191 fee for clean up, etc (which I could do on my own btw). Technically the diagnosis was free, but they kept pushing me to pay the $191. Eventually, I just payed the $191 and hoped for the best. They didn't even show me if it worked when connecting a monitor. I trusted them and their reviews, so I just believed them. Lo and behold when I got home, the PC still had the same problem - It would not display any output. Eventually I figured out the problem was for myself - motherboard was broken. Needless to say I will not come back to this establish, and would not recommend at all because: (1) They could not even tell me what the problem was (2) What they alleged fixed was not fixed at all (3) When brought my PC, they emphasized diagnosis was free. But when I came back to pick it up, they kept pushing me to pay the $191 fee for clean up, etc. They didn't even show my if the problem was fixed (connecting a monitor).

I called in to get a written repair estimate for a broken Apple Watch, which I sent them images of…read morethrough yelp. I told the man that I would pay for the repair estimate. I purchased the watch with an American Express card and ended up accidentally breaking it. American Express insurance will pay for a repair, or reimburse me so I can purchase another new watch, (depending on the repair cost). I explained all of this to the man. This process takes about a week for them to approve or deny. I explained that I wanted to make sure that the claim was approved before repairing it or ordering a new watch since I wasn't positive they will approve the claim. Since I would not immediately buy a new watch through FIX HUB, they decided to just not call me back at all after telling me "I will definitely call you back within 15 minutes". They also did not respond to direct messages through Yelp/Email. I also had told the man that I'd drive over to the Utica Avenue location in Rancho Cucamonga to take care of this, since they do offer Mobile repairs. I didn't want them driving to me to do a simple repair estimate that would take 2 minutes. This is terrible customer service. I break stuff all the time and would have used their services and recommended them to others. They could've also made a very easy sale with charging $60 for a simple repair estimate which I made clear that I would pay. They also could've made a sale for a new Apple Watch Ultra 3 when I had my claim approved for American Express. This business obviously doesn't realize that doing a simple thing for customers leads to loyalty, referrals, good reviews, and future sales. Since it wasnt a huge sale upfront they decided just to brush me off. In my opinion, I would do avoid doing business with FIX HUB.

The only thing that initially made me hesitate was that it was a home-based business. I decided to keep looking around and even visited another highly rated repair shop in the area. Before I could even ask if they could repair my controller, they immediately recommended QCQ Repair. That told me everything I needed to know. From the moment I spoke with Jose, I could tell he genuinely knew what he was doing. With over 10 years of experience, his knowledge and professionalism stood out immediately. He took the time to listen to my concerns about my controller, understood how much sentimental value it had to me, and even understood how excited I was to play the upcoming Halo Remastered. What impressed me the most was his honesty. From the very beginning, he told me there was a possibility the controller couldn't be repaired because of how Microsoft designed the Elite Series 2. He didn't make promises he couldn't keep or give me false hope. Instead, he was upfront and transparent, and I respected that more than anything. I dropped my controller off on July 3rd, right before the holiday weekend, and he was still willing to take it in. A few days later, he contacted me with great news--he had successfully repaired it. Not only does my controller work perfectly again, but he also replaced the joystick with an upgraded component to help prevent the issue from happening again. The price was more than fair considering the complexity of the repair and the cost of replacing one of these controllers. What really sets QCQ Repair apart is that Jose genuinely cares about the quality of his work and his customers. His business isn't about getting people in and out as quickly as possible--it's about doing the job right. That's exactly why his reviews are so outstanding, and now I completely understand why so many people recommend him. If you're looking for someone who is knowledgeable, honest, experienced, and takes pride in their work, I couldn't recommend QCQ Repair enough. I'll definitely be coming back if I ever need another repair. Thank you again, Jose. I truly appreciate bringing one of my favorite controllers back to life.

Thank you Advance Computers! I sent my computer in to be repaired after dealing with endless problems. Turned out that my computer had a horrible virus. Advance Computers was able to locate the problem and fix it quickly and professionally. They were also very honest in letting me know that a part I needed to repair on my mouse would be extremely expensive and not worth replacing. They gave me alternative suggestions which I used. That showed me just how honest they are. I was going to buy a new computer but now I'm happily working away at my old computer because of this shop. read more

Richard saved me a LOT of money. I spilled water on my 2022 Macbook Pro and Apple wanted 1600 + to "fix" it. Come to find out that they would have just given me a re-furbished machine. Richard took care of it for $150 plus a bit extra because he had to order a new keyboard, which was totally understandable. The work was very very well done, quickly and efficiently. He is an honest and fair guy which can be a really hard thing to find these days. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone needing any tech repairs!!! Thanks again Richard! read more

He hands my son a form to fill out saying that it would be $65. Luckily we pressed him on what we got for $65. FOR $65 he turns the laptop over pulls the back off (screws already removed BTW) looks at the port. Which needs to be soldered back on. IF we decide to have him do solder it back on, that will be at least $160. It is not a complicated task. I know, I have done it before. We walked away
