I found Doc's on Google. My printer had been acting up for a little while. One by one each function (fax, copy, print) was failing. I gave up with all the troubleshooting I knew to do. His response game is on point! You call/text he gets back to you in a short amount of time . He was able to come out the same day, he even wore shoe booties to come upstairs, another . He spent a good amount of time working at my printer. He did a great job at trying EVERYTHING to get it to work, but unfortunately, he declared it dead, it's time to get a new one. I was flying a long haul flight and I left my water bottle in my backpack, which of course exploded and damaged my laptop (a Macbook Air). I visited a certain other Mac repair shop in Riverside and they told me that the motherboard was ruined and that I'd need to get that replaced before they could assess further the total damage to the machine. I wanted a second opinion, so I went to Doc's. They were helpful, efficient, fair, and polite throughout. My guy even went out of his way to meet me at my residence. The Rudest type of service you could possibly get in the area . The Owner Kieth isn't very friendly. I asked for a simple screen replacement and they tell me it should be just one day so I waited, and then they extended for 3 more days (I turned in my laptop Tuesday). So I had to wait over the weekend and over the weekend I had to text the guy to ask about the updated and he says the shipping date was pushed back so it'd have to be on Monday and if it exceeded any further I'd get a discount . Okay no problem , until Tuesday I had to call and ask about my computer (Again) and he tells me he had to go out of his way to get a whole new laptop and he replaced the screen with it blah blah blah . Then when I ask about the discount he told me if I wanted the discount I'd have to wait for the part stuck in shipping.So after going back and forth and nearly a week just for a screen replacement I go to pick it up . And the first thing I've noticed is that they've taken all of my stickers off of my laptop , and then tell me they "had" to do it for the screen to go on as if that makes any damn sense at all and when I open my laptop there was nothing familiar at ALL about this Laptop and when I asked all his intern kept saying was "I wouldn't know what could do that " when they should know all about computers because that's their profession . So I wait for Keith to come ( The operator on my computer ) and as he walks in he has this demeanor with me that was Rude , condescending, and just plain mean . So he walks in and I asked him if he was the one working on my computer and he says yea but right away he's quick to be like "dude we did nothing to your computer ". "Was it used?" "We couldn't be able to see your data even if we wanted to" . And during all of this all I asked was where my data was at and they couldn't give me an answer . They tried to blame me and say my computer was used, or there was a spilt drink in the works but in reality these guys fucked to my computer , locked me out of all my shit and then got mad when I asked where my data was and let me remind you that I was nice the entire time . I was telling them hey where are my files , it wasn't like this when I dropped it off . And they would not want to give me an answer . At one point Keith got frustrated with me and said " look here's your computer and get the fuck out " and I even made him look stupid in his own building by telling him" really dude this is how you act ? I ask where my stuff is because it wasn't like this in my possession but it is in yours ?Look I just wanna know where all my stuff is ". And all he kept trying to tell me was that my computer was used and how there was liquid in it but that was never the matter and he knew it because I even told him . He just kept bring that stuff up like it mattered or as if that was the stuff in question . What was in question was my data and I never got an answer and I basically left because he wasn't going to give up the fight and say he fucked up. Please do not waste your time with these people they're so full of shit. Over all it seemed like they knew what the problem was because he wouldn't have gotten as mad as he did , I doubt any data loss happens to any of their customers and if it did they wouldn't have any to pay their bills so you be the judge . I decided to upgrade my pc with a whole new motherboard, cpu, and ram but didnt really want to deal with the hassle of putting it all together. My man Keith really put some TLC into my precious computer, no doubt the work of a master. He even installed windows 10 on my new M.2 SSD for free! Let's not forget about the impeccable cable management either, really top notch work. They kept me updated on how my build was going every step of the way. Doc repaired my macbook pro retina display. I cracked the LCD. He explained Apple requires the whole top half of the computer to be replaced, which makes the repair expensive. I found a part on e-bay (He said he'd look but I'm proactive) and sent him the link. He bought the part, and called me when it came in so I could bring in the computer. He opened it up and said he couldn't fix it because the battery was swollen, and that it was a known issue and Apple had done a recall on them. So I called Apple right in the store, and persuaded them that they should cover it under the recall. Since Doc's is not an Apple authorized repair shop, he carefully packed it up for me to take to another computer place for the free battery replacement. I picked it up from there a day or so later, and brought it to Doc's. He stayed open that day just to fix it for me. I waited while he worked, and less than half an hour later I paid him $200 less than the Apple authorized repair shop wanted to charge. I found his customer service exemplary, and the repair was done quickly and with expertise. I highly recommend Doc for all of your computer needs! read more
