My cat had knocked over my computer while it was charging and broke the charger, it got stuck into the charging port and I tried all morning to get it out myself and I absolutely couldn't it was stuck for dear life. Friendly professional service, and fast too. I brought in my HP Envy because of connectivity issues; they fixed it up like new! I started having issues with it again a couple of months later, and he was able to reset it free of charge in about 5 minutes. It's been almost a year now and I haven't had any more problems since. My experience at this place has been MUCH better than at big box computer repair counters - *cough* Best Buy - who I found to be rude and incompetent; I knew more about technology than they seemed to. Brought my laptop in for some virus removal. When I picked it up, the screen didn't work and the letter T had been broken off. They claimed it wasn't their fault, just a bad coincidence. I had been having problems with my laptop. It didn't have battery issues but it continued to cycle on and off saying "windows had encountered a problem." I was so frustrated with it because I couldn't type up my school work without having it shut down several times. I reached out to a couple of computer guys on the internet and many of them wanted to charge $50 for a diagnostic first then however much afterwards to fix the problem. Some said, we charge $50 an hour then parts and labor. I was quite upset especially about just finding out the cause of the problem. When John reached out to me and offered to run a free diagnostic for me, I was trilled. It didn't take him 5 minutes to diagnose the problem and tell me what needed to be done. I was immediately sold on his integrity and his work ethic. He said how long it would take, he gave me and invoice and my laptop was ready to go even sooner than he had said it would be ready. Last month my MacBook Air was in my backpack & tipped over & my water bottle spilled & water got on my laptop...I immediately shut it down & turned it upside down for it to dry...after letting it dry for a couple of weeks my computer was working just fine but wouldn't charge...I took it to Human Computer & the guys there were very helpful & told me since it was still under warranty to take it to Apple....I took it but they weren't able to fix it because liquid spills aren't covered under the warranty I have. Apple informed me that I will need a new logic board & the cost is between $900-$1000....I took my computer back to Human Computer & informed them what Apple said....Human Computer only wanted $495 for a logic board...Human Computer wanted to check my laptop out before charging me for a logic board so they opened my laptop up & cleaned it with alcohol thoroughly & my laptop is working. I was informed that I didn't need a new logic board & it just needed to to cleaned with alcohol & make sure that there were no other water damage visible. I'm so happy & really appreciate Human Computer for taking the time to see what was the issue with my laptop instead of just charging me for something I didn't need....THANK YOU read more

This is a great place to take your computer in need of repair. My computer screen was black when I turned it on. Took it down to Human Computer and Mike took care of us. It booted right up of course when he plugged it in, when over the details and possibilities should it happen again and he did not charge us, we insisted on paying something and he said just drop something in our lunch fund. Human Computer SAVED MY LIFE! I'm mean my hard drive's life. My IMAC would not start up, John was able to salvage ALL 600 Gigs of photos, and 400 gigs of music. My time machine backup was out dated because I was having issues with the operating system. He replaced the hard drive and the reinstalled the operating system, repairing my work horse machine. I took my laptop in a few weeks ago because it wasn't taking a charge. I was thinking worst case scenario, that there was an internal problem. It turns out, the charger that plugs into the wall died. The service was fast and I was told I didn't even need to buy it from them (from the male employee), but that he recommended that I buy a better quality chargers, as the cheap ones could fry my laptop. I ended up coming back a few days later and buying their charger ($50). I'll be back the next time my laptop has issues. read more

When my computer slowed to a crawl and refused to load browsers, I took it to another place where they diagnosed a virus (I'd run multiple scans, all clean) and wiped my hard drive. When the problem CAME BACK (after wasted hours of reloading programs and files), I took it to Human Computer, and was told my hard drive was dying. They replaced it and it was flying the next morning. The first place refunded my money, at least. Techies who know how to wipe hard drives are easy to find. Human Computer (HC) provided me with excellent customer service. My laptop was infested with a particularly nasty virus. Restoring files was a major problem since many fileswere corrupted and many addresses and folders were altered or switched. Even though restoration required many unexpected hours, HC stood by their flat rate for this tedious and time-intensive job. Moreover, HC cooperated with me in locating specific files that were especially important to me. When here for the first time last Tuesday. I've had problems with my laptop and I tried to fix it myself and I didn't think I was successful. I came here to this place expecting to spend alot of money for them to look at and then add more fees for a repair. Well, that didn't happen. Mike, he helped me, listened to what I had to say, looked and plugged in the hardware I had brought him, check it out a bit then told me everything I had done was fine. He had said it was unnecessary for him to look at it deeper because everything looked good. He explained to me what todo next and how I could do it at home. I thought WOW, this is cool, most places would go ahead and take the laptop "crack" it open, do some diagnostic test, and charge me an arm and a leg to do it, even though it didn't need it. Not this shop he told said it wasn't necessary. Instead of going for the easy money, because I was ready to pay, and pay alot, he said no, it wasn't necessary. That's pretty great in my book. My big, fat cat jumped on my laptop sending it crashing to the floor. I paid about 800.00 last year for my HP laptop. When I opened it to go online, the screen looked like a jigsaw puzzle!
