Went in a couple of days ago because I had a suspicion that my laptop had a virus. Mike was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, which made me confident that I had gone to the right place to get my pc repaired! My laptop was ready the next day, and it runs like new. On top of that, it only cost me $85, compared to Geek Squad's $200 fee and they wanted my laptop for three days... never again! I didn't know they fixed MacBooks and my screen had cracked but I went in and checked, and surely enough my MacBook Pro screen was fixed and came out as good as new! Our company is in Riverside. We are family founded, and I now know why my father repeatedly took his computers for repair at this great business. Prior to my visit here, I went to geek squad and another private shop. Both entities were bewildered by my situation because I did not have a virus. I walk in to the shop, and within 5 minutes Mike and his associate diagnosed my issue being a touch screen and touch mouse problem. I was in a complete crunch my power cord broke on my corporate issued laptop and the quickest one I could have shipped would have taken days. My battery was dead and I needed to get work done ASAP. I found Human Computer on Yelp it had great review. So I called and they had one rebuilt power cord for my hard to find non-standard corporate issued Lenovo laptop. I rushed over there to pick it up. It was a reasonable price, they had great customer service, and they practiced good Covid-19 safety measures. I was so happy with their service a week later I took my slow MacBook Pro to them and they put a new hard drive in it, it works like it is brand new. Came in with my 2016 MacBook Pro which had non-responsive keyboard, trackpad, wireless adapter, hdmi port, and USB port. Stan and John were able to fix everything except the keyboard and trackpad as those required expensive parts which was not worth the cost to me to repair. So..called the Human Computer. Told Mike my laptop crashed..he told me to bring to him so he can figure out the problem. Got there and within 5 minutes he had my laptop up and running!! A friend told me about Human Computer so I took My Dell in because it was running slow. I spoke to Mike and he plugged in my machine saw it was running slow and said they would take a look at it. There was a set fee for the repair. I dropped it off at 9:30am Saturday morning and picked it up at 2:30pm. I looked at some of the computers they have that are revitalized and asked some questions which were answered and left. I got home and plugged in my computer and it was running perfectly. My cat had knocked over my computer while it was charging and broke the charger, it got stuck into the charging port and I tried all morning to get it out myself and I absolutely couldn't it was stuck for dear life. I was calling all morning to see if someone could fix it. Everyone was giving me quotes of $100 and more I was even considering selling my loyal laptop I came in and they only charged me $40 to fix. I had been having problems with my laptop. It didn't have battery issues but it continued to cycle on and off saying "windows had encountered a problem." I was so frustrated with it because I couldn't type up my school work without having it shut down several times. I reached out to a couple of computer guys on the internet and many of them wanted to charge $50 for a diagnostic first then however much afterwards to fix the problem. Some said, we charge $50 an hour then parts and labor. I was quite upset especially about just finding out the cause of the problem. When John reached out to me and offered to run a free diagnostic for me, I was trilled. It didn't take him 5 minutes to diagnose the problem and tell me what needed to be done. I was immediately sold on his integrity and his work ethic. He said how long it would take, he gave me and invoice and my laptop was ready to go even sooner than he had said it would be ready. Last month my MacBook Air was in my backpack & tipped over & my water bottle spilled & water got on my laptop...I immediately shut it down & turned it upside down for it to dry...after letting it dry for a couple of weeks my computer was working just fine but wouldn't charge...I took it to Human Computer & the guys there were very helpful & told me since it was still under warranty to take it to Apple....I took it but they weren't able to fix it because liquid spills aren't covered under the warranty I have. Apple informed me that I will need a new logic board & the cost is between $900-$1000....I took my computer back to Human Computer & informed them what Apple said....Human Computer only wanted $495 for a logic board...Human Computer wanted to check my laptop out before charging me for a logic board so they opened my laptop up & cleaned it with alcohol thoroughly & my laptop is working. I was informed that I didn't need a new logic board & it just needed to to cleaned with alcohol & make sure that there were no other water damage visible. I'm so happy & really appreciate Human Computer for taking the time to see what was the issue with my laptop instead of just charging me for something I didn't need....THANK YOU read more
