    Magoo's chicken sandwich
    Jennifer L.

My first impression was great customer service! We were greeted when we walked in and made sure we were comfortable ordering. We were handed a menu as it was easier than reading the board. The girls at the cash register were very sweet. Have patience... they are young and learning. We placed a to go order. It took quite a bit of time to get it. This would have deterred me from giving 5 stars, but the managers were aware and not only checked on our order, but gave us some coupons for some free meals next time we come in. It's not the free food that caused my 5 star rating, but rather the action of the manager making us as the customers feel important. The food was delicious. The fries have a tasty seasoning on them. I got the Buffalo sandwich. The sauce was spicy, but not over powering. The Magoo sauce is great to dip your fries in. My husband commented that the menu is simple enough that it's not overwhelming to look At, but enough variety to please a multitude of appetites.

I was dragged to this spot by my husband. He was raving about this hot new place in St. Augustine Florida. We pulled in and the lot is so clean and pristine. I mean immaculately spotless. Walking in we were greeted by a few good crew members. Looking at the menu, it is chicken everything. Mostly wraps and tenders served with crinkle fries. I ordered the garlic Parmesan wrap. No fries with a .99 sweet tea. Hubby ordered the grilled chicken wrap combo which only includes the crinkle fries. He also ordered a .99 lemonade. We had the opportunity to sit and chat with one other older couple in the dining room. The front counter cashier brought our order out to the table. The wraps were extremely hot. Well put together. But for me, it was too spicy. I immediately noticed the taste difference. Maybe I'm getting older, to say the least I only took two bites and I was done. I literally had to stop at the Racetrac gas station to buy tums because I had terrible heartburn. My husband throughly enjoyed his lunch. My brother in law had no issues finishing my food. Great location, Really Friendly Staff and Food was prepared as ordered.

Garlic Parmesan and Buffalo. Very yummy chicken, good and crunchy. Friendly staff and quick with food. With 2 kiddos we'll definitely be back.

3 Tender Meal (2 fried, 1 grilled) with fries and toast!

Glad we tried this new place!! It was really good. The crinkle fries are seasoned well. The chicken was moist and tender - I tried the grilled and fried versions. The ranch and garlic Parmesan dipping sauces were my favorite!! The side of toast just pulled the meal all together! Will go again! I think my only suggestion to change would be to add some spice to the chicken breading itself. It is pretty plain, which provides a great canvas for the sauces, but if you wanted them on their own, it might leave a little lacking.

I went in September 5 at 2:08 in the afternoon pulled up to the drive-in told them I have an extreme stomach issue where I can't eat tomatoes twice. I ordered a chicken wrap without tomatoes which I confirmed again before pulling up to pay. When I opened the window to take my payment I again confirmed that there could not be any tomatoes on my food as I have an extreme reaction to tomatoes. The manager and the cashier who is listed as Carley R on my receipt both again confirmed there was no tomatoes. We take the food pull around and check and sure enough loaded with tomatoes. I walk inside put the food on the counter and ask for some kind of explanation. They all just stood there and looked at each other..... No one said a word. I left the food on the counter and walked out without getting my money back.

At first glance from the parking lot, Huey's still looks like they haven't had an opening Ceremony yet- Few cars in the parking lot. As I walked into the door it was all staff. The staff were very friendly but none offered any advise on what to order from the menu. I ordered buffalo chicken wrap which was delicious and refreshing with all of the spring mix lettuce and very flavorful tomato's with a little too much buffalo and ranch style sauce which poured out and was a little messy- but extremely delicious. The renovations of the restaurant were modern, country style. Residents and visitors alike need to give this franchise location a try, it might become your next favorite lunch stop!

Tried for the first time today. The sandwich was very delicious and big. Also tried the tenders and they were so good and juicy. The food is Much better than and Chick-fil-A I've ever had. Only downfall is the drive Thur was like 15 minute wait.

7 piece meal with extra bread because they are out of coke slaw. Notice anything wrong

I love their grilled tenders and I usually get them tossed in sweet heat or garlic parmesan.

Therefore, this gets a long wait for breakfast/brunch. It's hard to get a parking spot but there's free parking across the street. They have a big waiting area next to the restaurant which is definitely needed as we ended up waiting like 45 minutes around 9:30 am on a Saturday. The food was definitely worth the wait though. I got the burrito smothered with sauce and cheese and the flavor was fantastic. Flavorful but not super spicy or anything. It's also HUGE. Highly recommend. Service is a little questionable, if it was quicker they could probably help with their long wait. It was hard to flag down our girl when we needed something & it took ages to get to check.

The service showed a real lack of knowledge and attentiveness. When I ordered whole milk for my coffee, the response was essentially "is half and half okay?" -- no, it is absolutely not okay. These are completely different in taste and calories, and it's not a reasonable substitute to casually suggest. What made it worse: oat milk, almond milk, and whole milk were all visibly sitting in the fridge right there from where I was seated at the bar. Zero effort to offer what was clearly available. The atmosphere didn't help either. The space feels like someone started building a café concept and never finished thinking it through. It's uninviting, disorganized, and oddly off -- not warm, not designed with the customer in mind. Nothing about the food, the presentation, or the space gives you a reason to choose this place over anywhere else. Not particularly tasty, not nicely decorated, not a vibe. Not sure what keeps people coming back, honestly.

The sweet potato pie was pretty good, but not as good as I remembered it. My wife thought the chicken was good: KFC level. I didn't try any of it on its own, so I'm not sure. I made the mistake of ordering a chicken biscuit sandwich, as I used to like that here. It turned out that it was a Cajun chicken biscuit, though: too spicy for me. My wife gave me some chicken to put inside the biscuits (her meal came with one too), and that's most of what I ate. I do wish they gave you butter and honey for your biscuits, as that's delicious. Those biscuits are particularly messy to eat with your hands. We spent $18.06 for the two of us. I probably won't be back.

There is fierce competition in the food service/ fast food industry. Bojangles has a name but for me the name has been smeared with very bad service today!
