8/14/26 First time visiting…read more Update 8/16/26 Friend Diele K informed me Daruma Ramen was rated in the top 10 in the US. That comports with the amazing food I experienced. Craving Noodles and bookmarked Daruma Ramen based on Elite & All Star reviews by Betty j., Kendall N., Lucy L., and Samantha N thank-you guys! Parking 4/5 The restaurant is small and located on the west end of the strip mall. Arrived approximately 3pm. Not a peak meal time the parking lot was very busy due to numerous business in the strip mall sharing the parking lot. A few trips around the lot snagged up a spot as someone was leaving. Atmosphere 4/5 Rating based on a small kitchen/Dining room business. Approximately 8-10 two seat tables. TV on the wall no decor, clean and sufficient. Service 5/5 Service today was by Mireya. She asked if this was our first visit, which it was and she thoughtfully covered their menu by reviewing starters, salad, Roman and noodles dishes like Yukasoba as well as beverages. The shared sampling order: 1green Tea. 1 Hot Tea. 1 Cucumber salad (shareable size). 1 Yukasoba. 1 Sapporo Meso Butter Ramen. 1 Spicy #5 Mayu Tonkotsu Ramen. Mireya got our orders in, and returned with the drinks and cucumber salad. The entrees came out in succession and the table filled quickly! She was very organized checked on us frequently and also had to go containers ready when we called it quits. An almost complete Yukasoba and half a Ramen came home. Food 10/5 Everything was fresh and delicious. I've never been to or had Ramens like this before. Amazing would be an understatement. The broth in the spicy dish was I would enjoy by itself. Spicy #5 was mild by my standards and wouldn't mind a bit more heat. The noodles were very nice and the cabbage was cut to size and skillet browned slightly before adding it into the dish. Mushroom added great texture and flavor. Both Ramens came with pork which was two thinly sliced pork chops. They were tender and took on some of the broths flavor, the pork quality was excellent! The Yukasoba is something I have fairly often however theirs was the best I've experienced. The pork was different in this dish, small diced pieces and the texture was soft perhaps a lower quality of meat with higher fat content which really excelled in the Yukasoba. The restaurant appeared busy all hours and had a continuous stream departures and arrivals. It fair to say the restaurant is small, a bit difficult to find your first visit and it may not be glamorous but you would miss out on some special food if you didn't give them a try! This was a great experience for us and we will be back. Daruma Ramen my friends-SYOY!

Now to the food.... ok one of the best Gluten Free hot dogs i have ever had, topped with carnitas, pickles red onions, the hotel was wrapped in bacon. OH MY GOD PLEASE KEEP IT ON THE MENU!!!! The burger was delish too with the gluten free bun. I will be going back here monthly to make sure they stay open. A-MAZING PLACE!!!! Also so beautiful inside. We pulled into the parking lot at 5:30 and the place was hopping. This is usually an amazing sign for a great restaurant. It all ended there. The hostess asked us if we could be done by 7 because they needed the table, it's 5:30. Rude. We walked into the dining room and were greeted with extremely loud talking. If you think you'll be able to hear the people you're dining with without shouting you're mistaken. The seating was awful. Either a hard picnic bench or wicker style chairs. Have you ever sat on a wicker style chair with shorts or a skirt on? Ouch! For the prices they're charging for the food you'd think they could afford decent seating. Possibly some more robust seating would do something to deaden the sound in that room. We were seated and ignored by every server in the room. The young man who delivers waters finally noticed us and brought us water. That's where the service ended. We had been there for quite some time, an additional 10 minutes plus. At this point I say to my party if they don't at least address us in the next 5 minutes we're leaving. This place does not offer complimentary chips and salsa. Isn't that kind of a standard of Mexican food restaurants? That was a $4.50 starter with red and green salsas. We did not enjoy the salsa and the chips were blah. Unfortunately we ordered our dinner with our starter. We should've cut and run. We waited for our food. It looked delicious, presentation is the one place this place won. These were the worst birria tacos I've ever had. Even with the consommé they tasted like nothing. After two bites I switched to the rice and beans which were decent. That was my dinner. Rice and beans for $18. Everyone in my party complained about the volume. Everyone in my party said we won't be back. The food was so bland. $84.50 with tip for 4 people for dinner with water only and the service, ambiance, and the food were just lacking. Do yourself a favor, for these prices go to Blanco, that's delicious and the service far exceeds what we were presented with at The Guadalupe on Main.

The quality really stands out--especially the homemade tortillas, which take everything to the next level. The al pastor and carne asada are both incredible, packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. I also love that the al pastor is cooked authentically on a spit, which really adds to the flavor and experience. There's also a great variety of options on the menu, so there's something for everyone. Service is consistently quick, even when it's busy, which makes it a great spot whether you're grabbing a quick meal or sitting down to enjoy your food. Their Taco Tuesday deal is also a huge win--great value without sacrificing quality, and it keeps us coming back regularly. And the salsa deserves its own shoutout--absolutely incredible! It's packed with flavor and honestly good enough that you could enjoy it on its own. It really takes everything to the next level. If you're looking for authentic-style tacos with great flavor, fresh ingredients, fast service, and awesome specials, Tacos Tijuana is a must-visit. Easily one of my top spots in the area!

However, I had been in once before when they first opened up. All the staff were super friendly. It was relatively busy, but there was no wait to be seated. I will note that coming before 3PM is the best deal because it's only $36.99 per person for the Full Rodizio versus $49.99 per person after 3PM. Honestly, their salad / side bar has really good offerings. Even if you're not in the mood for meat, you can get some really good offerings from the salad / side bar. There is an option to skip the meat for a cheaper price. The food is all you can eat, which is nice! However, you better come hungry to get your moneys worth. I really like the concept of the place. The food was all very good, fresh, and high quality. The issue I have is that I feel like I can't possibly eat enough to get my money worth. So I would not come to this place often....
