I had the absolute worst restaurant experience at this Hooters. My mom and I stopped in at around 9pm on a Saturday night to grab some food after driving all day from Florida. We walk in, and stand there for about 5 min before anyone even acknowledges us there. There was hardly anyone in there... and the cook in the back had to yell for one of the waitresses to come seat us. I go to the bathroom to wash my hands and it's disgusting. I ordered boneless wings and a side salad, and my mom ordered medium breaded wings. When the food came out, my salad had a huge hair in it, and my mom's wings weren't breaded. At this point, I was a little disappointed... but I wasn't even mad yet. I get it, mistakes happen. We sent the food back and waited and waited and waited. The kitchen is wide open and from where we were seated, we could see straight into the kitchen. For 15-20 min, there wasn't anyone in there doing anything. We sent back food because it was incorrect/ had a hair in it... and it took 15-20 min for anyone to even start fixing it. Mind you.... I was waiting on a SIDE SALAD. Literally just a bowl of lettuce with some ranch. So now, I'm mad. Our waitress completely abandoned us, we LITERALLY never saw her again after she took our order. We had to wave down another waitress (who ended up being nice and helping us a lot... the only positive thing I have to say about this place... we tipped her $10 and that's it.) It seemed like all the waitresses spent more time socializing and hanging out than actually working. Towards the end, almost all the waitresses were outside doing God knows what while there were 3-4 tables that needed cleaning, a disgusting bathroom, AND another group of 4 who had just walked in (and also been ignored for way longer than we had!) This place is disgusting, the service is HORRIBLE, and I strongly recommend you find somewhere else to go. Oh- and to top it all off... when we left, our waitress was outside with the cook/manager smoking a cigarette. Please save your time and money. This place is a disgrace to Hooters, and this is coming from a Floridian (where Hooters originated.) This place needs Bar Rescue or it needs to be shut down. read more

Dropped by today with a friend for a basic order of 10 hot wings (traditional breaded) and a side of tots. Hostess greeted us immediately and waitress came over very quickly. There were only 6 other diners in the restaurant at the time, so the response time was nothing out of the ordinary. Half an hour after ordering our food, it finally arrived. Everything was cooked very well, however the wings were absolutely drowned in sauce... literally enough to season 30 wings. And y'know, it's kinda hard to dip a buffalo wing in ranch or blue cheese when it's literally dripping off massive amounts of buffalo sauce. Once we were done with our meals, the waitress took an exceptionally long time to bring the checks, however she did process them quickly. All in all, not a terrible experience, but watching the cooks meander around with no sense of urgency and then getting the wings wrong (which is what they are known for) was a bummer. read more

Jail restrooms are probably cleaner than the ones here just pitiful. Ordered a drink and thought i was drinking juice also came like 20 minutes later after it sat at the bar forever while the server was God knows where. Well, tried it again, i have been to a good hooters in another state, but i should have known better.. the food was still nothing special at all, if anything it was probably worse then last time. No to mention they got my order wrong, and the waitress even said she saw and knew they messed it up, but it was put in correctly... that's great, why the he'll did she bring it out and not call the kitchen out on it? Now the service, again, do they even teach these girls how to smile? Our waitress was under spoken, you had to read her lips just to try and figure out what she might be saying and the music wasn't even loud. She didn't smile at all, in fact I only noticed just one girl smile, just once. Then she finnally got my receipt, I paid and she brought me the merchant copy only, no customer copy and no itemized... and huffed when I said something about it... the manager brought me the copies and she was even rude about it.. After three bad visits in a row, I had to do this. This is an absolute terrible location and business. Not only is the service always terrible and the food take forever, we had a very strange encounter with our waitress. So me and my buddies met for food and beer, brought all our wives. I suggested Hooters and after my two bad experiences previously (all within a month) I decided to give it one more go. Bad mistake. Our waitress was so high on Xanax, she walked up to take our order, and just stood there in a daze. She held her pad and didn't say a word, just stood over my wife and I. We finally asked her if she was okay and she mumbled something. She was so high she was drooling. She had no idea what was going on and was nodding off while standing! I was in shock! I told her to come back to the table in a bit and got up to go tell the manager. Her speech was so slurred. The Manager tried to say she was tired and he would get us another waitress but the problem was, they only had one more waitress on duty. She was the one we had the prior visit and she messed all our tickets up and was rude. I told the manager we were leaving and he shrugged his shoulders. I got pissed and was like okay well you would have made a couple hundred bucks since we had 10 people, but he didn't care. We went To Twin Peaks. I also need to mention that the bathrooms are disgusting and there was maybe 3 other people in the whole place at dinner time. That shows it's going down. Whoever owns this place needs to get off their A** and get something done or this place will fold. All the waitress do is stay on their phones and smoke outside while talking to their boyfriends who sit on the patio. That should be a big NO NO! The last three visits were terrible, but they are not the first times I've had issues at this location. I've never experienced a visit to this Hooters in Pelham over the years that I world call great. And I've been in there dozens and dozens of times over the years. I will not be back and as member of the biker community, this will impact this business. Word has already been spread about what we have experienced. Wives have spread the word as well. First of all the manager is terrible... all he cared about was flirting with the girls on staff.. I overheard him make a comment on how a girls makeup looked. Very unprofessional. What really ticked me off is my coworkers paid for my tab and all I had to was pay for for my drinks. I simply had 2 margaritas on the rocks with a shot of grand mariner and it cost me $40 ! Knock-knock? Who's there? Restaurant with decent food but incredibly-terrible, self-absorbed servers... Restaurant with dece... I don't think I have to finish that little game, right? You get the message. My wife and I have visited this location numerous times, each time giving it another opportunity to show some positive consistency in its customer service. And aside from a few *very rare* visits in which our server was outstanding, the only consistency we seem to experience now is of the negative variety. As much as I don't want to stereotype attractive young women in their early 20s, wow - the amount of "let's flirt with the chain smoking, Salt Life decaled, testosterone-overdosed, yokels instead of remembering that we're at *work*" is unparalleled. We (and a friend) made it into the restaurant last Sunday afternoon, had some decent food, some poor service, and walked out of the place swearing to each other and to the heavens above that we would never be back for that very reason. I know it has to be tough to work at a place where your appearance drives a large majority of your clientele, but that doesn't mean you have to fall in line with stereotypes of being an airhead with large boobs. We are probably the least demanding when it comes to service at any restaurant; that said though, even the most relaxed and patient customer expects a minimal level of attention to order drinks, food, and receive the bill after dining is complete. And this Hooters location appears incapable of hiring and/or training persons to make that happen. (And that assessment is derived, again, from numerous visits, shoulder-chip free.) The server took forever to make her way to the table. The food took a very long time to get to the table. The wings were burnt on one side. When the bar tender sat my drink up to be served, I had to go get them myself. My server was gathered in the front corner of the building. All on the phone, or talking to each other. It's been awhile since I visited this Hooters location. The last time I visit the Pelham location the service was terrible. Well.... this time is better, but still not good. I know a thing or two about running a restaurant and this location is doing a lot of things wrong. The first thing I notice is the staff spend more time talking to each other and not enough time with the customers. Second thing I noticed and that the kitchen staff if very inefficient with there cooking methods( which causes longer wait time for food). Third thing is tables were half washed and with the CoronaVirus causing panic all over the world the tables should be cleaned better than what they are. Last thing is just poor leadership. This location is this way do to terrible management of staff. Apologizing to every negative review while keeping the same ways, policy, and staff doesn't improve anything; it just give the appearance that you care when your actions show you really don't. At this point the owners of this location needs to do better or slowly go out of business. Now is the time for real change. read more

I knew that was a bad sign too but Hooters is one of our very favorite places to eat so we carried on.drinks were brought in styrofoam cups because "we don't have a dishwasher right now". Although the next people got real glasses, explain that. Again idc because I was going to ask for a Togo cup of their sweet tea, that didn't really bother me. Was sitting next to a group of intolerable people of caucasian decent, and over heard a nasty comment made by their group where one of the individuals said with vindictive temperament in his voice "That they wouldn't touch a child with a 10 foot pole because it was mixed"..then one of the persons involved attempted to exclaim to the person making the quoted disgusting remark, to "Not say those types of things as he might hear you" referring to me the only african american male within an immediate earshot. I reported it to the management and was professionally met by the leading supervisor or store manager and he handled this situation as follows. The group was ordered to pay for their meals and leave immediately, and will never be allowed to be served here again. The Polite servers (other african americans) and misc. staff made sure to accommodate me as well as apologizing for my experience tonight. I wanted to leave this review that they may know it is greatly appreciated and I look forward seeing you all in the future. I love hooters & I usually am happy with their service or at least it's decent but wow this hooters is really not the best it was actually a horrible experience! I went with a couple friends & we decided to sit outside since when we walked in no one see to have wanna sit us & we were ignored by a couple waitresses that obviously looked at us & ignored us. We sat outside & they was 2 other tables taken outside one was 2 guys and the other the girl who was our waitress friends. The waitress not only took her time but when she came didn't bring us menus & straight up told us "oh I am waitressing but bar tending tonight do you guys need anything?" From the beginning she gave us attitude & ignored us but we asked for drinks & menus. She back to the guys she was obviously flirting with all night & attended them. We waited for the menus for about 30 minutes because she was too busy flirting & ignored us. She served the guys twice in & out then her friends & even took a shot with them. 30 minutes later we finally ask her again for the menus. "Oh I forgot" literarily I was so mad yet kept my temp but she walks to her friends table & gets their menus the friends have Ben served since we got there. It took her 2 seconds to get the menus from the table behind is(her friend) & gives them to us with attitude. She then walks off & again ignore us we try to order & she just ignores us because she's chatting she finally comes to our table again almost a half hour later & gets our order we start ordering & she waits last minutes the kitchen has can't cook our food anymore because they turned off the grill already, & we can only get wings. So fine we order wings. It's takes for ever & she comes out & tells is can I give it to ya in plastic to go boxes since we are closing in 30 minutes & we are gonna wash dishes now. We say fine. She brings it & we ask for silver ware or something to eat it with she says yeah I'll bring it. We never got silver ware & we had to eat with our hands. She mets up the check & rudely ignored most of the night & kept ignoring us to talk to her friends & not to forget take shots with the guys. Worst hooters service I have ever had.
