Everything was fantastic during our visit except I am trying to figure out why there was a 20 minute wait when honestly more than half the restaurant had empty tables. Otherwise the waitress was fantastic and attentive, drinks were never empty. Food was great and the 400 (hyperbole) had football on them so no matter where you sat you could see the games.

Had a craving for some chicken wings and Taco Mac was definitely worth the trek across town. It's located in the newer Canopy Trail area in Pelham across from the former amphitheater. There are lots of menu choices, including some burgers and a plethora of beers on tap, but the wings are clearly the specialty. We ordered the oven roasted wings, half with Parmesan garlic and chose buttermilk ranch seasoning for the rest. These are undoubtedly some of the best wings in the area! They are cooked just right, juicy and not dried out or hard like some you might get at their competitors. We also had an order of perfectly fried tots. I might ask for them to be a little less heavy handed on the salt, but otherwise these are pretty tasty. Overall, this was a very good dining experience that was only made better by our attentive, friendly and jovial server, Mia. The restaurant is spacious and bright with lots of large mounted televisions and a huge bar. I'm guessing it's a very popular spot during college football season. Our visit was on an early weekday evening so it wasn't too busy. I highly recommend this restaurant for a quick casual meal. We will definitely be back!

    Triple Play Menu (June 2025)

We've been a couple times, and Taco Mac seems to be a pretty solid choice. I'm not a huge beer drinker, but if you are, there is a wall-o-beers on tap. There are also hard ciders, and mixed drinks which are more my speed if I'm in the mood. My absolute go-to meal , though, is the Green Chile burger. It is as satisfying as you'd think it should be. I've gotten it with both regular fries and sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries are crinkle cut, so they seem to get maybe a little more cooked than the regular fries, but still pretty good. If you go when they're offering the Triple play, it saves a couple and includes a drink. The only downside to this location is the parking. There just isn't a lot of parking, so you may end up having to park up the hill in front of the apartments (which may not always be available when the finally open them all?) or across the street at the civic center lot.

Marquell provided very professional and personable service during my visit a week ago . I sat at the bar and had access to everything I needed. My food order was taken once I decided on one of the triple play meals for 11.99. With this deal you get chips & salsa, I picked 6 lemon wings and fries - it was the perfect meal. There were 2 other meal choices. They also had uproot ipa on tap soooooo I was happy! The draft beer selection is extensive and quite impressive. This is definitely a sports bar atmosphere so I'm looking forward to coming back soon to watch some football!

Two words, "salty tacos!" This is a typical spot for us after a home game because it's literally in our backyard. The children are super excited because it's Tuesday and of course tacos on Tuesdays are always the best choice. The excitement when arriving in the door and explaining that you have a large group that can be seated quickly is a plus. The kids are able to color which makes the environment that much better. The waitress was super kind and nice however we had a one issue that was not major and it was very minor. My tacos were super salty. After a failed attempt to negotiate with an alternative option, I was left with no options in the end. The waitress told us that the shrimp was preseason, and even if I ordered another type of entrée that has shrimp it would taste the same. So I decided to do the best choice which was to eat salsa and chips. Because of the removal of one entree, this also meant the removal of the kids eating free on Tuesday. The manager indicated the system is the system and there can not be any changes. In conclusion, while I was speaking with the manager, I overheard another guest, mention that her food was salty as well, but she bared it and ate it anyway. This is a great spot so without giving this a one star I would rather for this to be fixed and allow the community to continue to enjoy the atmosphere with having such a great local spot on Tuesdays. Stephanie was the manager on duty.

Was given a gift card for Taco Mac. Had never tried it before so when we were in the area we stopped for dinner. Was seated immediately by the hostess. Server was initially prompt and helped us with the menu. He advised us to stick to the wings, tacos or burgers and we shouldn't be disappointed. I ordered the brisket tacos, and my wife got the Brisket BBQ burger. Tacos were served on a flour tortilla with pico, cilantro and citrus lime crema. Tacos were most and crema was excellent. Brisket was chopped, not sliced and slightly under seasoned. Chips and salsa were bland. Needed salt and salsa was below mild. My wife's burger was hot and juicy. Brisket was same as tacos. Bun was buttery and toasted. We chose Brussels sprouts as our side. They were flash fried and drizzled with honey. They were excellent. Staff were nice, but a little slow to check on us and bring the bill. The manager did stop by and found out it was our first time. He dropped off a discount card for our next visit within 30 days. Restaurant was clean and had a sports bar feel. Lots of TVs and high top tables. Pretty good for a fast food/bar type restaurant. Not bad food but didn't knock my socks off. Would probably try again if in the area.

I have waited until I have eaten at this place multiple times to write this review. I chalked my first time up to "maybe it's a bad server". To start, the service is absolutely horrible. Every time I've gone, if you order anything from the bar at the table, it's been at least 20 to 30 minutes until it arrives. Service was so bad this evening, that my wife actually went up to the bar to grab the table's pitcher of beer that had been sitting at the server's pick-up spot for 10 minutes... Also, they somehow pride themselves on their "ranch" sauce, which is disgusting. It looks like Elmer's glue that someone shaked basil leaves in. Knowing this, we ordered the "dressing ranch" instead. Unbeknownst to us, this is a $.69 upcharge for each sauce, which makes absolutely no sense, but even though it's Kraft ranch (or whatever), it's %1000 better than their "house ranch". I had a manager stating she'll make sure our daughter's wing's were free due to the lack of service.. which didn't happen. This has happened twice now. We've asked for traditional wings and have been brought boneless wings, we've asked for the "beer of the month" Sweetwater Day Trip IPA, and have been brought Sweetwater peach IPA. I even tried to explain the issues to the manager this evening about how bad it is every time we come here to eat, and was completely blown off. She started telling me how much the ranch upcharges were, that her waitress was overwhelmed (she had 2 tables), that that she won't apologize or can't do anything for past experiences. I'm uploading our actual receipt from tonight. As you can see, you will be charged for decent ranch (at best). You'll see our kid's wings were not taken off. You'll see that they will upcharge you for everything. You want your kids to have tomato on their burger? Upcharge. Lettuce? Upcharge. Cheese? Upcharge. As a business owner, and someone that would appreciate any feedback.. she wasn't having it and tried to justify how bad everything was. All I was trying to do was give her some constructive criticism and it didn't go well... so here I am writing this seemingly long review. I could go into detail on each time we visited this Taco Mac, but I'll spare everyone the agony of that. Here's the run down. 1. Service is awful. 2. Elmer's Glue Ranch is horrible... HORRIBLE 3. You wont get several things you ask for the first time 4. They'll upcharge you for everything 5. Parking sucks if they are semi-busy 6. This is a glorified Applebee's this does deserve one star, which is for: 1. Beer selection 2. Food isn't bad if you get what you actually ordered We live 2.2 miles from this place and wanted it to be something awesome. For us, for the community, for our kids... it's an absolute HARD PASS from us and all of our neighbors after giving it 5 or 6 chances. %1000 would avoid at ALL COSTS.

Great Friday night eats. Bae and I are on date night and he wants Taco Mac. Such a great choice. They are steady. Our server is Deion. He is Amazing, quiet but thorough. Thanks for my treat, tea glass filled all night. Bae had the Philly cheese egg rolls and a smashed burger with fries . I had the mango wings with tots. Yummy! The manager came over to greet us, this place was great. Y'all already know when I'm full and happy, I'll be back.

After a hike at Oak Mountain, we atopped here to refuel. It wasn't very busy, so we were seated right away. Our server was efficient and friendly. Our meal was good. I ordered a margarita, was surprised it came in a short whiskey type glass and loaded to the brim in ice. Parking was a bit of a pain because the lot was full.

There is a lot of buzz about this Tacomac opening across the street from the Pelham Civic Center. It opened in September 2023 and I have already been twice. Service has been good. Some of the staff were here from Atlanta to open the restaurant. The first visit my friends an I shared 50 wings. Half with Louisiana Voodoo sauce and the other half medium spicy Buffalo sauce. Both sauces are applied liberally and the were quite messy. The second visit my friend ordered the Jumbo Chili Cheese dog and I ordered the Pretzel Bites. That hot dog is huge, and messy enough you should eat with fork and knife. The pretzel bits were very good and I like the spicy mustard sauce. The restaurant is big with lots of TVs lots of draft beers. Overall, the experience felt a lot like a Buffalo Wild Wings.

Decided to give Taco Mac a try for a birthday celebration on a Friday night. Wait was not terribly long. Kudos to their staff for checking *everyone's* ID; even my mother-in-law and her sister. I split some boneless wings and mac and cheese with the birthday boy. We got mild and some garlic parmesan. Unfortunately, the garlic parmesan taste was pretty weak. Also, the cheese in the mac and cheese was pretty runny; not sure what they could do to make it stick to the noodles a little better. As far as the rest of my dining party, there was at least one beer that wasn't available, but they were great about offering a small taster for other options. Birthday boy did try the cronuts for dessert and said they were really good.

To-go order- I guess they were in a hurry and missed the patty with the bun, lettuce, and sauce? Also if you do a To-go order arrive earlier than expected because it's cold. Come on Taco Mac...

The line really didn't seem long enough for the wait to order but that could have been a customer causing the delay. When they are busy it would be helpful to have more than one person taking orders. We had hoped to find some seating on the patio since it was such a pleasant evening but most everyone else had the same idea and there was not any available tables. Once we ordered it did not take long for our chips and queso to arrive followed soon after by our entrees. They actually offered us a second tray of queso & chips due to an order mix up (we think it was actually supposed to go to a nearby table). The El Matador Margarita (premium white tequila, Patron Citronage & pineapple juice) was good and could have easily been happy with another or even a pitcher. I opted for the Guacin' on Sunshine (shrimp, black beans, pineapple pico, cilantro ranch & guac)) & Tan Lines (mahi, pineapple pico, cilantro, ranch & fresco cheese) tacos and my wife chose the Reef 'n Beef bowl (steak, shrimp, tomatoes, rice, black beans, roasted corn, onions & cilantro ranch). I had requested no guacamole but it came on anyway and they also went overboard with the onion for my wife's bowl. Otherwise everything was good but not as incredible as I was expecting. If it was closer to home, we still would likely at least pick up regularly and we will definitely plan to come back when my daughter & her husband come back in town.
